Soren seems to know how to channel magic through swords, Arsam trusts his magic to guide his sword strikes with unnatural precision and help him properly use his armor (the Combat Magic ability) but the rest is just a jumble in his head that he hasn't properly worked out yet(so that he doesn't have all the abilities yet he'll gain more as he essentially levels up). Maybe it could work out so that the two of them could essentially train each other in that specialty by sharing the bits of knowledge they each have?
