Ashanil, the rogue I offered to pick, went through most of the same stuff, but defended Levanel even while enslaved. Like a big sister, rather than a friend. Like what Soren does now. She never got tattoos either. Due to not knowing if Vel had them, I'm not sure how well you follow the story, but it was Ashanil's 18th birthday, the day she was supposed to get her tats, and that was when it all happened.

Also, I don't know how else I'm suppose to respond to the armed attack of this Elf boy aside from sicking the other Templar on him or making a full assault on him myself with the other Templar's aid. Kind of, uh, forcing me to make a hard decision here. I don't really want to attack this other character... But I have to it seems.

Yeah, probably right. I'm going to have to restrain from doing that again, could have cut it with Ser Bryant appointing the other Templar and getting the door open. That would have likely been better. I'll try to do better.

I've got a plan... to make a run up to Rivain in hopes of getting the Templars off the back. Cross the border to Orlais, up into the Free Marches, through Antiva, and then reach Rivain.

What do you expect me to do? Invoke the Darkspawn horde? Get the plot moving? I don't think Dutchy would like that. The only other powers I know of are Mod Complaint and Meteor-that-killed-the dinosaurs Strike. One won't work since you are being reasonable, and the other is just stupid.
