So, hmm, let's find something to discuss while people are sleeping in order to keep ourselves busy until something develops in the IC.

Hmmm, probably going to get a virtually universal answer with this... Dragon Age: Origins or Dragon Age 2?

Origins for the story, 2 for sarcastic Hawke and Elf design.

I personally see it as Two for visuals sometimes occasionally when they actually made a unique dungeon, and Origins for basically everything else, but that's just me. I really didn't enjoy Two at all.

Origins... Two is watered down to the point I can't wait for Inquisition.

You know, Merrill actually makes fun of the repeating backgrounds. "I needed this break, I was starting to think every part of Kirkwall looked alike"

I'm not afraid of working with elves and will give a cut of my own profits. First, we'll loot the bandit's corpses for weapons and armor. Then we'll sell the goods. I'm wanting to build a Thieves Guild one day," Marise said as she handed the money to the elf.

Few problems with this. First of all, unless I'm mistaken, the coin purse was passed to Adethiel, not Marise. Really doesn't make much sense to me that Marise would be the one Kaya passed the coins too. Secondly, while she could make an educated guess that Adeth is an elf based on size, she wouldn't know, and given the rampant racism calling a human an elf could do wonders to irritate them.

I like to think of it as EA being the cruel slave driver and Bioware the benevolent slave that has little choice in the matter. Of course I have no clue but it lets Bioware screw up multiple times without me hating them, so that's nice.

She also confuses caves and ruins at one point. Whether that is another reference or just Merrill being Merrill is up to you.

I can just imagine Elissia's first reaction being a facepalm at how easy it was to get her alone.

Note taken with a few snips from my RP having been done.

Damn typo.

Yeah, but it at least advanced the storyline a little. I was hoping for a less...immediate reaction. Something more along the lines of a "thanks" and somehow fitting the sob-story into there. Instead, it appears she may have PTSD. Likely not, due to the recentness of the events, but she did get a flashback (again).

Soooo...

What happens now?
I was intending to wait for Dutchy to post something, hopefully some progression and maybe the initial Darkspawn. But I guess not.

I don't think Dutchy is posting anything tonight/this morning. Plus, it is in the hands of the players to progress the plot, no?

Ye gods! Lenavel hasn't actually done any magic, and things giving her away as a mage are as subtle as a single ring, how does everyone know she's a mage instantaneously?

It's Templar training. And it took a series of things to figure it out.
