Well they were with a Templar so you never know. (And in the game they said they didn't have the manpower to do much so I doubt they would go after the apostates) But regardless I don't think Jerick would walk to some random house. Is anyone in the Chantry to interact with?

I believe there is the Coterie, but I think they are a Kirkwall organization. So I don't think there are any established Thieves guilds in Ferelden, at least as far as we know. (Aside from the Carta, they are more like a cartel than a Thieves Guild.)

Despite everything, the smile almost tricked Adeth. She was a fighter, not a thinker. The elf released the girl's shoulder and was about to walk away when the thief was approached by another woman. Needless to say, Adeth found what the woman said to be rather interesting. "Oh, so you're a thief?" Adeth asked sarcastically, taking another step foreward and raising her dagger to the other woman's gut. "How quaint. I never would have guessed." she said, her anger only partially disguised with sarcasm. The elf had no interest at all with the newcomer. She'd been a great help, unintentionally of course, but now Adeth was more interested in getting her coins back. If she was lucky she wouldn't have to gut a shem to do it. That wouldn't be the best course of action in a room with a bunch of drunk and probably very racist shemlen.

"And I have got your money back. I'm a person who cares more about the idea of killing darkspawn in hopes of clearing a way for us to make money selling loot. I'm not afraid of working with elves and will give a cut of my own profits. First, we'll loot the bandit's corpses for weapons and armor. Then we'll sell the goods. I'm wanting to build a Thieves Guild one day," Marise said as she handed the money to the elf.

Few problems with this. First of all, unless I'm mistaken, the coin purse was passed to Adethiel, not Marise. Really doesn't make much sense to me that Marise would be the one Kaya passed the coins too. Secondly, while she could make an educated guess that Adeth is an elf based on size, she wouldn't know, and given the rampant racism calling a human an elf could do wonders to irritate them.

Well I'm off for the night. Surprisingly the IC was more active than I thought it would be. My post will improve as we go along, usually the beginnings are rusty I would imagine.

I'm usually up until 3am CDT, but seeing how my work wants me to start earlier tomorrow, I have to sleep earlier, which sucks. My work however, involves my own office, therefore I can rp as much as I want there.
