Beer is great, but I hated it until I was older. It's a taste I acquired while in the Marine Corp.

Almost everyone in my family loves guns, most are members of the NRA. Have rifles, and the whole bit. Whereas I would much prefer to have a gun and know how to use it for my own protection, or if I need to hunt for some reason. Not because guns are just so awesome and cool, but because they do serve a purpose in society.

Most drive big trucks or big vans, likely because the family is huge. Great-Grandmother had around 12 kids, and yes I'm serious about that. I prefer small cars that are cheaper and don't take up so much gas.

And again, most of my family are alcoholics. Most love beer. I don't, I hate the taste of alcohol. Some white wines are able to have a better taste in comparison, my opinion.

Of course, then there are the political differences. I'm a moderate leaning libertarian, most of my family are staunch conservatives who love the Republican Party.

I'm almost completely different. Of course, I'm still just 15. So, I can change sometime in between now and... whenever I croak.
