And Serb: Templars obtain powers through lyrium that negate magic abilities. From the sound of this, it seems that they'd be immune. However, I don't think anything/one in the game said that Templars are immune to the effects of the Fade. And normal people who deal with demons create their own connections to the Fade, which lets them be affected by other Fade entities.

I believe only physical and magical skills work in the Fade, with magic being more... potent. And Dreamers can shape the Fade how they want, depending on their skill. So it'd be really one-sided.

I'm going to just procure my supplies and wait for him to do something that would scream blood mage like killing large numbers of innocents. Why would a Tevinter kill innocents? To practice blood magic.
