Hahaha. I would say the Chileans having a temporary control of that area is actually possibly due to the army financed by Chile there. But how they get French while doing a war in Perú, that´s a riddle to me.

Economy: Post-war Chile has been left devastated and in ruins. Trade has been disrupted, farms and industries had been destroyed in the fighting, overall the independence war had a negative effect on Chile. With heavy dependency on agriculture, Chile has barely managed to survive the initial years, goods and weapons are scarce, however little improvements have been made to the wailing economy.

Infrastructure: Pretty poor. Paved roads outside of major cities are almost extinct. Dirt roads are the most common however. Valparaiso is the main port of the country, even though it is an old port. The government is too preoccupied with other matters to care about the nation's infrastructure, but even then, it would have no money to improve it.

Army: 10,000 active. Weapons are scarce, so there is not many artillery pieces.

1821- The empire still holds Upper Peru and stands tall on a pile of rubble also anchor.
