When, in 1821 King Vladimir of Transylvania marched into Sofia and deposed the former Bulgarian King, placing his third son, Mihai, on the throne. King Mihai has begun to implement the reforms his father has requested of him, and Bulgaria is slowly on the path of becoming mini-Transylvania. The reforms are intended to anchor Bulgaria as an independent and mainly self sufficient state.

Yes, the British DID hold it. But there were also Spanish Villagers. They owned nice little ports, and gladly fixed up the Americans.
