Yeah, but I sort of imagined all the kingdoms to fight between one another and then all of a sudden this massive horde would just sweep through the lands, forcing the kings to unite or perish against the dark forces. Just how long until these beings will reach the Kingdoms, and I suspect that Northfall will be first?

Yes northfall is first, but they will be craving a path of desstruction in the cities before the 4 Kingdoms, which will take at around 3 months in game

Oh, okay then. So, have these kingdoms ever been united onder one banner once? Regardless, I think that there should be some sort of Landsmeet or Great Thing (Germanic) for all the Kingdoms nobles and leaders to come and discuss the state of the Kingdoms and so on.

What age is this set in? I mean, we have cannons? Also that military academy and the whole graduation thing seems rather modern. My men are fighting with swords and axes. Also, OOCly, will this Eastwind army be able to win against Northfall A. on the field B. in a siege against Northfall C. in a siege against Eastwind?

So the artillery in the posts are catapultst? Keeping with the whole Medieval-theme. Also if Northfall was to have the best army but can still be beaten by the farmers of Eastwind, what gives?

Yeah, but Northfall was renowned for it's amazing architecture and army. However it has a shortage of food that the other states do not have because of the larger army and poor agriculture, nor has it good trade to increase wealth or any mines to gain natural resources.

Well, sure. However that seems rather, odd. Seeing as our food supply is very low and so there wont be much food in the granaries, not much to take, and B. You would leave your army distracted raiding empty granaries whilst your enemies could raid your capital. You can sit back in your city with your army and wait for spring, you would not gain anything from attacking Northfall. Northfall however needs food, as it and Southfall would be those who have the least amount of food I'd suspect. Northfall has two choices until spring comes. Either sit and wait and probably starve or try and get food somehow. Discounting the imminent threat of the frozen beings.
