You also need to leave the NPT which again takes time. Leaving such a treaty will no doubt piss off every other nation and many will be strong opposed to the idea of more nuclear weapons being produced.

You would have had more chance getting permission to build nukes when you had a crazy nuclear armed states just north of you. Now SK biggest threat is gone. Your people will hate the very idea of nukes after seoul was destroyed, just like what happened in japan. And you signed the NPT, which already says your nation is against making nukes.

I'm getting permission from the Security Council, OK?

My point is, why would the South Koreans want it? They have just been victims of a nuclear strike, the last thing they want is more nukes lying around. Not to mention they are no longer under any threat that requires a nuclear deterrent.

Also, read my UN post. I have no idea why he keeps accusing me of forgery. Possibly the only three nations who would want to forge something against S. Korea would be China, N. Korea, and Vietnam.

Actually, the Chinese destroyed the North Koreans launching areas. The nuke never hit.

THAT WAS A JOKE! It never happened! This is not going on in my nation! Your evidence must be forged since the North Koreans are not actually being abused in the new United Republic of Korea.

1: it's landlocked
2: it's protected by 4 other nations.
