Name of Alien Species: Svyazi
General Info about your Species: A Communal Intelligence developed far away, they are part of a all-consuming Empire that leaves no room for individual though; All species it meets are offered a process to turn them into part of the Commune. If this is refused, they die. This is not to say, however, that they are not open to Negotiation. If they are losing, they will often call a truce, reproduce, attack in even more numbers, over and over until they win. They reproduce by literally cutting part of themselves off; They need no opposite sex, and so they have none. They look much like Squids in appearance, but with useless, shriveled up Bat-Wings, Horns all over their face, and empty eye sockets; It is not known WHY they have eyesockets, but they do. They find their way around through smell. They have a nose, but instead of being Human-like, it is merely two slits on the face; the Nose does not protrude from the face. They have sharp fangs, but actually are unable to eat meat; They eat grey cubes made of a mixture of alien meat, strange spices, Vegetables from far away planets, and what most certainly LOOKS LIKE Algae. The less Syvazi around any individual, the stupider and brutish they become; there is something in their brain somebody long ago planted in them that makes them useless in anything other then communes. In battle, they are like Japanese Kamikazes; They willingly charge straight into the bloodshed, even into areas where they will be killed one way or the other, if it benefits the commune. However, leaving no room for Independent thought has left them slightly behind the Humans in technology; a mistake they seek to quickly correct.
Info about the Planet of origin of the Aliens Species: Named in honor of it's owners, Syvaz IV is a dead planet. So are the planets around it. And the solar systems around it. It's all because these little guys are planet destroying nomads; They assimilate or kill all life on any given planet, or die trying, then start burrowing to the core. For some unknown reason, they eat the cores of Terran planets; much like this one. Then, they evacuate the planet and leave it to implode.
History of alien species: (Should spawn a Major, existence of life - threatening Problems on the planet of origin (there must be some or else there would be no wormhole)): There are countless theories as to how the Syvazi commune formed; some say they are the result of a experiment gone horribly wrong when a more Intelligent species tried an genetic change on a native animal species; others say that they used to be intelligent, but turned into this when their leaders ordered a 'Commune' chip planted into the minds of everyone, including themselves. The craziest say that they are a horde of planet destroying robots. Whatever the history, they only started sending out spacecraft in 1983; the first planet they conquered, Tsent III, is set to implode within two weeks. Ever since then, they planted their nefarious tentacles on 15 different planets; now that their home planet is exploding, they are trying for a 16th.
Technical development of Alien Species: (Should be something around humans. It can be more or less advanced in some areas): Medicine quite literally doesn't exist in the Syvazi language; they care nothing if one of their kin gets sick. The same goes for Internet, TV shows, Lighting, and any other area they deemed 'unnecessary.' The biggest development so far is in Weaponry; They are feared by other Spacefaring races throughout the Galaxy for their weaponry. They have no written language, and because they have no eyes, they don't NEED one. They can speak no language other then their own, due to the shape of their Voicebox, but Humans and similar races can pronounce their language with surprising ease. Russian is the language closest to them.

The original wormhole expanded due to human meddling and swallowed the earth, so now the earth is also in the discworld.
Its still far away from the disc so it still takes 2 turns to travel.

However, a new wormhole is about to open up soon, leading to yet another universe.
