After the incident his parents decided to send him to military school instead of juvenile hall so he can learn discipline.
After 5 long years of military school Alex graduated a changed man. His rebellious nature replaced with a more calm, calculating, obedient one. He felt like he only had one job choice after that, and at the age of 18 he enlisted in the UNSC Marine corps. His personality change fitting perfectly with the disciplined military lifestyle.
Even years of military school couldn't remove Alex's fascination with explosives prompting him to apply for Demolition training. His fascination served him well during training helping him achieve top marks in demolition training. After Demo training he was transferred to CQC training so that he can also fill the breaching role within a unit.

Psych Evaluation: As described by Romans commanding officers and comrades alike, the words "Crazy", "Liability", "Moron" and "loose cannon" have been thrown around alot. If this were any other situation Roman would have been thrown out of the Armed forces for Misconduct, however humanity cannot afford to lose such valuable human resources at a time like this. Nevertheless his skills in combat are what bought him to the attention of the 430th ODST Contingent
His combat performance is above average, being an apt AT soldier and an expert on the handling and characteristics of heavy weaponry. He has a impressive kill tally against Covenant Tanks, Aircraft and other vehicles alike, not to say he isn't skilled at taking on infantry also, his actions have earned him a reputation along his fellow men, a mixed reputation, but one nonetheless.
Personal History: Born into a semi-wealthy family on the outer colony of Arcadia, Pirth City was located on the largest continent of Mu. Arcadia was a lush tropical paradise, fabled for its abundant resources and beautiful vistas. His father, Sven was a wealthy architect for the local city council, and had designed multiple high rise buildings all around the continent, and his mother, Andrea was a Cardiologist in the local hospital. Roman lived in a large family, obviously his mother and father, but also his 4 siblings, 2 brothers and 2 sisters, as well as his aunt and uncle.
Roman was the youngest of the group. Life was fairly normal until a fateful trip into the jungle, originally planned to be a trip to a resort on the shore of a beautiful lake, the resort was attacked by insurrectionists. His mother, Father and Older brother were captured and held hostage along with dozens of others, Roman and his 3 remaining siblings fled into the forest. Luckily for them they were retrieved by passing UNSC patrol dropships, however the crisis at the resort had ended badly. Both his parents and brother were killed in an ensuing firefight by seigeing UNSC forces.
From here he was sent to a foster carer with one of his sisters, seeming as his aunt and uncle were too old for full time care. The family was split and broken, contact was unoften. As he aged, through school and high school, he always looked up on the highrises at the UNSC recruitment advertisements, fighting for the betterment of the galaxy against the innie threat, unknowing of the looming covenant attack that would sent humanity to the brink of destruction. He signed up for a Marine platoon at 18 and underwent training as a heavy weapons specialist. During training the UNSC caught wind of the advancing alien threat, and all UNSC forces were mobilized to counter it. First stop Actium. From here he rose the ranks, fighting Covenant forces on the ground in a bloody battle, from here he had multiple engagements, eventually being transferred to an ODST division, he was dropped into Skopje to secure a covenant AA site so dropships could land troops closer to key positions, however the attack quickly turned into a retreat as a Covenant destroyer dropped in from orbit to bombard them with plasma. Most of his unit was wiped. The newly formed 430th Contingent were looking for new recruits, and from the ashes of the 89th Division he was transferred.

Psych Evaluation: Altough having experienced heavy fighting, Alexander shows almost no sign of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, except from quietness between deployments. He remains a useful member of his team - his medical skills saved the lives of 7 sqaudmates on Skopje.
Personal History: Alexander's first major battle was on Skopje, where he was part of the detatchment sent from this unit to reinforce the corporate HQ on the planet. During a particularly intense firefight, Alexander was forced to throw aside his assualt rifle when his ammunition expired. He then held of Covenant attempts to breach the courtyard using nothing but his sidearm for a full twenty minutes. All the while, he stabilised and saved the lives of 7 comrades.
Alexander also demonstrated exceptional courage and bravery when he used his own body as a sheild to protect his wounded comrade. He lay in front of the man, taking a plasma shot grazing his side and using all his ammunition to defend himself and the wounded man.
