Blah. I really don't like Republicans, but if no one is budging, I'll switch Blackburn over to the Republicans, but he'll represent a different district. Probably the eleventh after the butchery.

This is still open right? For a Democrat in the Senate?

We need a Senate Minority Leadership, so yes.

I think Senate Minority Whip is open.

And Whips are important in the Senate, it is 51 Rs and 47 Ds with 2 Is. So party lines are huge.

Well, going to need to make a public statement and call a few people soon.
And who are you, the proud lord said,
that I must bow so low?
Only a cat of a different coat,
that's all the truth I know.
In a coat of gold or a coat of red,
a lion still has claws,
And mine are long and sharp, my lord,
as long and sharp as yours.
And so he spoke, and so he spoke,
that lord of Castamere,
But now the rains weep o'er his hall,
with no one there to hear.
Yes now the rains weep o'er his hall,
and not a soul to hear.

And the two Independants are not taken? 'Cause I can go for the libertarian, and I will too.

Libertarian app is coming. I don't think we have enough female Senators. Comes the hard of finding an important female libertarian to base my character off of.

I was originally going to take the White House Chief of Staff and base my character off of Liz Cheney, but I didn't feel like I had the time. Now, I do.

Is it okay if I make a group called the Conservative Women's Movement? I was thinking it gained ground in Minnesota, Ohio, and other states. Also, may I be the Official Leader of the Tea Party?

Well, the Tea Party is a Caucus, so it'd be up to you I would think.

Not sure if the Op's are regulating those or not.

I like how Congress isn't shutting down, though IRL they shut down for a week. This shall be interesting.

Tea Party ITTL isn't that big. Without an Obama, it never gained grounds in the media and it looks like a small fringe movement, not the size it was IRL. I doubt Bachman would associate herself with such a small group. Unlike IRL, they aren't popular. On the other hand there is the Occupy Democrats movement which is a strong liberal 'party' that's the opposite of the Tea Party.

Hmm, what about the Conservative Women's Movement? I had that or either the New Conservative Movement in mind.

As others have said, there's little chance the Tea Party would be successful in the RP due to the fact that Obama isn't President.

Is McCain running for re-election, or is there another Republican candidate?

Me and Liech, RPing Michele Bachmann and Joe Barton, are thinking of running for office. Either me as Prez and him as VP or the other way around.

Buj, Hannover had reserved the Speaker position, and it expired before he posted his app, but he posted about fifteen minutes after the reservation expired.

I'm confused as to who is speaker now.

They can run against McCain, it's just no one runs against the incumbent.

If they did the party would implode.
