Because the title of 'A God Am I' extremist is already taken

Name: Magdalene
Age: 13
Nationality: French/German
Occupation (if applicable): Nun
Height: 153 cm
Weight: 40 kg
General Appearance/pic: Now with plot-relevant appearance! Has pale blonde hair, fair skin and violet eyes. (Old pic)
Powers/abilities: Psychic Manipulation - her general power enables her to twist any weak mind at her own whim, altering their perception of reality, actions, even memories to suit her needs.
  • Time Acceleration - Buff. Speeds up one's mental reaction time. Causes the reality of the person affected to slow. However, the body may not be able to keep up with the mind, or even slow down as a result.
  • Mind Warp - Alters a person's mind, such as personality, perceptions and even memories. Currently only able to amplify existing personalities
  • Memory Shard - Able to leave a memory of herself in an object, manifesting as herself. How much the 'double' can recall would depend on the memory she is imprinting, and how many.
Weapons (if any): None
Personality: Shy, melancholic, quiet, studious, an incredible sense of responsibility, exceedingly vindictive
Likes: Helping others, kindness, love, loving, being loved, weeding out the 'unkind'
Dislikes: Strangers, liars, evil, suffering, being disagreed with
Bio: An abandoned child of unknown origin, Magdalene never known the world outside her convent in Alsace. Handed to the care of the sisters of the convent by what was described as 'a woman with unnaturally bright golden hair, fair skin and sparkling emerald eyes', it was the only fleeting clue to anyone who the girl's parents might be. However, raised as a nun, Magdalene never really showed much curiosity to her past. But as evidence of her powers surfaced, so did questions on whether she was really just another meta-human at all.

Growing in an increasingly violent world, Magdalene often lamented over the growing egotism among the meta humans who came to dominate the world. A studious reader on theology and history, she questioned the prejudices and suffering enacted by humankind against their weaker members (normals and metas) and was prone to cry about it in her sleep. Even among her fellow sisters, she was considered odd for worrying about worldly affairs all that much. But when visiting priests unexpectedly tried to force themselves on the poor child in a sudden drive of lust, it was amply clear something else was wrong with Magdalene. A girl with immense innate potential in psionics, her power looked to surpass even the most powerful meta humans. But that power was extremely unstable and under the sway of her emotions instead of willpower. As such, the affair was brought over to the Vatican in Rome, where they decided that she should be sent to Paris' Notre Dame for training and assessment.

However, while most assumed she would become an exorcist vanquishing evil for the One Church, the young nun suspected an ulterior motive to her reassignment. Given her powers at bending the mind, it did not appear beyond her not to think that her task would be more along the lines of an inquisitor. Already, the Catholic Church was being empowered by the advent of the metas to impose their spiritual authority over the world. It was hard for her not to imagine herself a powerful pawn in their plans. Still... was it possible for her to disobey the agents of God, or would God herself choose her side alone?
Current location/situation: Paris Metro, on the way to Notre Dame Cathedral.
RP sample: U wot m8?

Accepted. It should be interesting how she reacts to SAIDE. Or Reth. Or Norv's character, whom I can guarantee will have Indomitable Will as a power.

So long as he doesn't try to shag the villain, it should be fine.

Besides, Magdalene is a character from Wolfy's NSverse, and she's probably more evil than SAIDE.

Actually, I'm planning on making a non-superpowered human. Although strength of will is largely a relative thing anyway; a small number of ordinary folks are capable of pretty amazing feats of willpower, when they put their minds to it. SEAL trainees volunteer to get tied hand and foot and thrown into a swimming pool. If that kind of grit doesn't count as a superpower, then I don't know what does.
For really, I think that the poorest he that is in England hath a life to live as the greatest he. And therefore truly, Sir, I think it's clear that every man that is to live under a Government ought first by his own consent to put himself under that Government. And I do think that the poorest man in England is not at all bound in a strict sense to that Government that he hath not had a voice to put himself under.

I'm really torn. On the one hand, I seriously want to bring back Tom Scratch, because he's awesome and there's so much to him that I didn't get to explore in the original BoR. He's a really cool character and I think everyone will be shocked by what he'll reveal, eventually. But on the other hand, I have a fantastic idea for a brand new character, and a hankering to make one. Choices, choices...

I'm about halfway done my app. In any other situation, I'd say that this guy's skill set was absurd. Here, it seems just about right for a man who (theoretically) has no superhuman powers.

Name: Nathan Fertigkeit Klaus
Age: 19
Nationality: German Empire/French Empire
Occupation: ex-Circus member
Height: 181 cm
Weight: 65 kg
General Appearance/pic:
Image
Image

Clothes: Navy blue hoodie/black jeans/the mask on his head
Powers/abilities:
• Enhanced Condition (Power/Endurance/Speed/Agility/Dexterity)
• Enhanced Sense (Hearing/Vision)
• Prey Instinct - Kinda like "Spider-sense" for Spiderman, this ability can discern numerous factors of a situation, including how much of a threat a foe poses (what move they will make, where they are going, and if these things relate to bringing harm to Nathan), as well as how to hide without giving away one’s presence, and how to escape when already found out. The downside that it may force Nathan to do anything in order to survive when already on a dead end.
• Martial arts intuition - Nathan can mimic and master all of the martial arts moves that he ever seen, even if it's only just a single glance.
• Great Parkour artisan from all his time being a trickster and acrobat in the circus
Weapons (if any): N/A
Personality:
• His face completely lacks the ability to convey emotions. He can feel emotions, but he can't express them visibly (ie smiling, laughing, frowning, crying..etc)
• values silence/music over socializing/general noises, but he can keep up conversations nonetheless.
• his lack of expression in face and voice tends to repel others (his face either looks bored or irritated by default)
• has a sharp tongue and is blunt at times
• he understands his flaws. For example, if someone's upset he'd feel the need to comfort them, but he correctly chooses not to do/say anything and just keep them company.
• surprising amount of pride; he doesn't like showing weakness in front of others

Likes: Honest people, ice cream, music (any genre)
Dislikes: Liar, anything that taste bitter, his own parents, anyone who order him too much, meta-human who oppress non-meta too much.
Bio:
Nathan was born in a renowned circus where his parents were famous clowns. They had very high expectations for him to follow their footsteps and become the best in the act; they even tattooed his cheeks before he could walk. To their utmost disappointment he turned out to be a complete failure - his face is completely void of emotions and his voice barely changes in pitch when he speaks, causing him to seem permanently bored. Ironically, he is gifted in movement (dexterity, agility, flexibility..etc) that are filled with excitement/feelings when acting or dancing, which they find to be a completely waste of talent for someone that will never perform on their stage. Nathan is also good when using the flute, which once again completely ignored by his parents.

The Circus leader however, isn't agree to throw Nathan talents like that. He then gives Nathan a mask and a role as the Trickster. His light hearted, joyful movements/dances and his flute playing, along with the permanently happy mask, can lure in any crowd and any children, where his natural dexterity enables him to pickpocket the audience just by casually skipping past them. His movements are so playful one would never have guessed what his face really looked like under the mask.

But being a Trickster is not what Nathan's parents' dream, and he end up somewhat hated by his own parents. The economy and political condition after the impact is also making everything hard for him and the circus as well. So after years living in the circus, the circus finally disbanded and the members of it walk their own separate ways. Nathan, being still a child at the time, followed his parent and go to Paris where he trying to become a normal kid in the not-so-normal world. Though by the looks of it, he'll failed soon enough.

Current location/situation: Stargazing at the rooftop of his apartment

Height: Manifestation: 5'5, Construct: 125m

Weight: Manifestation: Weightless, Construct: 650,000 tonnes

Pic: Representative Manifestation, Physical construct

Powers/abilities:
Included in both physical form and manifestation.
      (1) Complex electromagnetic capabilities, and thusly is able to to manipulate ferrous metals to an extreme degree, as well as most/all conventional technology in general.
    Included in exclusively the manifestation.
      (2) Ability to manipulate various forms of energy, as this form itself is composed of such energies. In this, she is able to summon unstable but potent constructs of such energies for various purposes, as well as transport her manifestation at extremely rapid speeds.
The following are exclusive to the physical form, and will not be seen often at all
      (3) Large array of mechanical apparatus embedded in the machine's construction, generally useful for pulling in external resources and using these resources to construct smaller devices subservient to the greater construct.
      (4) A strong pulse, which when ejected will expel all objects within its vicinity at high speeds in all directions away from the central machine.

**All abilities are proximity based, specifically for the manifestation - the farther she is from the source (The construct), the weaker her abilities.**

Weapons (if any): Manifestation: None other than those which may be rendered from its abilities, Construct: Other than its abilities which may serve as such, its only weapon would be stepping on you.

Personality: The S.A.I.D.E is, in simple truth, a machine. Though she may be referred to as a 'she', she would be an it (But thats boring). As such, she sports a moreless cold and methodical personality, for she acts only in accordance to a very specific set of goals. Even so, she can manipulate her personality to whatever may suit her in furthering said goals.

Likes: She generally prefers to have a very firm grip over any situation she is in, and seeks to control all aspects of her environment. If she cannot, she will make them conform to her will.
Dislikes: Generally anything which she deems a problem or obstacle, and anything that would be opposite to the above.

Current location/situation: Champs-Elysées

RP sample: BoR Klassic, PL
Bio: The S.A.I.D.E is an alien, a strange entity of not only another world, but another realm altogether. Once, some time ago, she had been the mighty Empress of a stellar empire of similar beings, which had spread far and wide, bringing with it terror and devastation of an obscene scale to every world in its path, regardless of what may have been their originally.

Well, it had been some time since she last held her rightful place as such a ruler, for she has been marooned. at some point, an outside cosmic force had displaced her from her own place in the universe to here, a location far from anything she would recognize, or for that matter, discern what the world she had appeared upon was even like. However, adapting to adverse scenarios was something she had done once before, she would certainly do so again.

Using the abilities of her corporeal body, she rooted into the solid ground. She pulled in immense amounts of material and resources towards her construct, around which she slowly carved an abode out from the solid earth. Decades progressed, and around her she had constructed The Facility, an immense and fairly open space where she would assemble the means of her own liberation. Upwards she slowly carved from her stationary position, dozens of kilometers beneath the surface. Carving a cavity through the ground ever upwards, the bare walls were lined with crude machines that acted only to serve their creator, their trapped Empress, to see her to succession, while others clawed, carved and drilled at the ever expanding ceiling, each passing year making more and more progress. Time was of no importance, the end result would be all the same.

Then, on one particular day, they arrived. Unexpected guests.

She did not know for how long they had known, nor for how long they had been coming, but their intrusion on her dominion marked an alternative method, a method which she thought she could indefinitely exploit. The Soviet Union, that is to what they pledged their allegiance to. They came on behalf of the greater good of their people, all the way down here, where there was no good to be found. It was all fairly entertaining, and so she allowed them to stay. All had went well - she told them useless information, and they gave her more... substantial resources. Of course, the relationship did not last. She would not divulge the secrets of her true nature, nor anything that they might have found useful, and so, they stopped listening to her. Rather, they began to entomb her in walls of their very own. They starved her of metals, destroyed her servient machines, and violated her very construction, tearing her apart for study and research. This went on for decades, but she was not helpless, yet her resolution was long to come.

Fortunately, this was not to last forever, for their day came at last. In her time trapped, she had heard and she had listened, and when their once-mighty Union inevitably collapsed as she had foreseen, she took the ensuing confusion to free herself of their grasp in a swift execution of carefully assembled plans. In a moments notice, their facility was turned against them, every cavity flooded with lethal gasses, every living being within bereft of all life in minutes, with but a few hopeless souls left to flee while they could, and she was alone.

The issue remained however, for she possessed all of nothing; little use did she have for this place, that which encompassed all of what once was her route of escape. Countless floors, doors and mechanisms, all utterly useless to her. Yet again, she would be forced to begin entirely anew, and slowly, through the years, her mechanisms began to root into the structures around her, quietly consuming the lowest levels of the facility, but it was not enough, it would take much more than this gradual growth to propel her forward, to do all that had been undone.

It was but a mere nine years later that this much-needed emphasis would arrive. An event that swept the world, imbuing most with its strange, raw powers, by some means including her. It did not provide anything expressly new, but much rather, delivered her a necessary force, a powerful shock which penetrated through to the very core of her central being. In this instance, all that she had once been was amplified, and from this, her manifestation was born, a representation of her very essence, excess power that the core construct would not contain, in the likeness of the human whom she had interacted with most - Dr. Zhirova, who herself was now nothing more than bones wrapped in blackened carrion. This form possessed abilities she was otherwise incapable of performing to such a degree, yet this was not the center of her attention, a tool. Her construct was imbued with greatly amplificative capabilities; she had expanded her reach far into The Facility she now claimed as her own, it having been long since abandoned in the frozen siberian wastes, long due for... reorganization. Her operations would start here, now, as she began conversion pf the old Soviet-era structure into something far more usable. She knew she would return to where she did belong, this was an inevitability, but this planet had proven itself to be... problematic. For this reason it would suffer, but only when she deemed it fit to die.

While she herself operated far and away, her new, freed form ventured far and away from its source, testing the reach of her strengths. But, after years of exploring this planet, she found herself finally residing in regions closer to her source, where her abilities were at their peak. It wouldn't be much all that much longer until this world felt what it rightly deserved.
SAIDE is an alien machine from SPACE! Trapped on Earth, she's mad at humans for being assholes, and is going to soon start flipping a shit about it. Later on. Later. On. :P
