Thing is you will have no impact on the plot and such.

Is okay if I replace a minor detal regarding armor to replace marks with Lost Sigils... kind of like some sort of reminder about failure?

Tagging, I'm currently writing what I think is a fairly crazy custom species app so I'm gonna get that up before making a character.

Height- 3 ft 8 inches
Cybernetics (Yes or no, if yes list type)- None
Date of Birth and age- December 29th, eight years old
Sexuality- Bisexual?
Personality- Sora has a somewhat charming and curious personality well after being quiet for days at a time around strangers getting to know their behavioral patterns or if they are considered dangerous. She tends to spend most of her time in her family's ship playing with the mobile communication equipment onboard and sometimes emerges from it's depths to simply look around the area the vehicle is in before returning to the ship for personal care. If faced with emotional distress she also tends to run back to the ship to take refuge within it's armor and hide somewhere comfortable until mustering her thoughts together then leaving once again to face the cause.
Is he/she a nephilim? (Please contact me if you want to be one and we will discuss)- Not a nephilim
If so powers(Nothing OP)- N/A
Bio- Sora was born on the dying planet on the farthest reaches of the Gaian republic and she was born into a close knit family of transport ship operators. Every night her parents argued back and forth that government forces would leave the planet then allow their people to fall prey to the Ragon empire. News of Republic losses echoed throughout the planet as reports of a massive Ragon invasion force drew closer to the now helpless planet and the government forces withdrew from the planet within hours of the invasion leaving Sora's family to make a grand exodus off world.

An hour before the invasion Sora sat alone inside her family's armed transport shipwith the watchful eye of the ship's AI waiting for the appearance of her family and her father made her aware that if he didn't return when the ship started moving she were to make her escape to any place of refuge of her choosing. She was halfway through to her destination when her vessel came under attack and was rescued by a young woman piloting a white star fighter then began her journey to safe haven with said woman. Her fighter now in the cargo bay ready to spring into action and the fight.

Height- 5 ft 4 inches
Cybernetics (Yes or no, if yes list type)- None
Date of Birth and age- September 1st, twenty years old
Sexuality- Hetrosexual
Personality- Reyna's personality described by her friends to be almost motherly but has a notorious soft spot for children and subjects that could be categorized as cute. She loves to listen to bright and up-beat music along with chocolate, her favorite piece of candy.
Is he/she a nephilim? (Please contact me if you want to be one and we will discuss)- Nope
If so powers(Nothing OP)- N/A
Bio- Just like Sora she was born on the same dying planet and watched as the government forces fled the planet abandoning the people they were tasked to protect along with some of their equipment which included a small fighter loaded with military grade ammunition. However Reyna was part of the government forces as a fighter pilot and in the rush to escape the world her unit was forcefully disbanded then her fellow pilots allowed her to leave with one of their own fighters on the only objective to survive then hopefully meet again under the same banner. Hours into her personal mission she had spotted the Redemption skittering across the system followed by a single pirate star fighter firing shots into the energy shield that protected the ship from outside influence and Reyna came to the rescue tearing the enemy star fighter into pieces.

The two eventually made it to a neutral star base and joined each other as a pair then placed Reyna's star fighter inside the cargo bay ready to be deployed when needed.

Accepted through the Ragon never cared about starfighters so they are not that long range, having to stick with their ship.

So maybe make it a pirate.

Custom race app.

Species name: Viator (All demonyms, as well as the plural, are also Viator. The accent is placed on the second syllable, more like "via tore" than the second part of "aviator." This roleplay text-based, so pronunciation notes are pretty much useless, but whatever.)

Appearance: Viator are made up of a small central core containing the major organs and numerous long tendrils sprouting off the central core. These are prehensile, and function as multipurpose tools for grasping things and transportation in gravity environments. When in gravity, they tend to shape their tendrils to roughly resemble the shape of whatever species is most common, as Viator find this to be less off-putting to others. On Bessie, this body shape would be humanoid. They tend to have a green tinge due to the algae-like organisms that live under their skin, allowing Viator to survive through photosynthesis. Due to their asexual budding reproduction, the algae can spread to young Viator as well. They can communicate with other races through sign language, with their numerous tendrils making it easy for them to form complex pictures in order to convey their meaning.

Homeworld: None
Other worlds: None

Independent or client?: Independent.

Respiratory gas: None, are aerotolerant anaerobes.

Base form: Jellyfish, I guess? In that they have a lot of tendrils, mostly. They are more solid than jellyfish, and the tendrils radiate out in all directions instead of just downward.

Lifespan: Extremely long, by human standards. The low levels of Adenosine triphosphate produced by anaerobic respiration when compared to aerobic respiration mean that the SPECIES take a while to grow to maturity, and their lifespan has adjusted to this.

Subspecies?: None

Reproduction rate: Reproduce asexually, with young Viator sprouting off the end of tendrils. Viator young learn by remaining with their parent until they feel they are ready to survive on their own, after which they detach and must fend for themselves from the moment of detachment. Viator have no emotional attachment to their young, and in an environment where children would be a disadvantage, such as aboard Bessie, they will treat them in much the same way as a human treats his or her waste. Other races find this slightly horrifying, as Viator are effectively flushing intelligent members of their own species down the toilet, but Viator have no moral qualms about this.
Mortality rate: Low for the same reason that their lifespan is long. With the limited energy produced by anaerobic respiration, Viator must live for a quite a while in order to have a child and increase population.

Intelligence: Viator are sentient, although their long journeys through space make them more philosophically inclined than focused on hard sciences and such. Of course, this is not a hard and fast rule, and scientific and technological advances have been made, although usually only when large groups of Viator get together and have a need to communicate.

Natural Defense mechanism: None, although they can use their tendrils to violent ends if need be.

Information:
The function of Viator tendrils is that, in order to endure the extreme temperatures of space, Viator can either spread their tendrils and shed heat or wrap them around themselves and keep warm. They also allow Viator to have a high volume without having a high mass, which facilitates the body heat control and allows them to grasp onto space debris and such and use it to change their direction while in space. No living Viator can remember what planet they came from, although the symbiotic algal organisms that they use to photosynthesize prove that there was a planet of origin at some point. During long trips between stars, Viator can survive with limited photosynthesis by consuming tendrils in much the same way a human body will consume its own tissue if it is starved. There are not the same implications of this for Viator, however, as the tendrils can be regrown once there is sufficient photosynthesis. While this is happening, Viator will not reproduce, with all energy instead going towards survival.
Viator can form massive colonies, usually made up of families that asexually reproduce and stay in grasping distance of each other. These colonies work together in order to travel through space or stay stationary if desired. Most technological advances come out of these colonies. Some have developed technology for communicating over long distances, but the far-flung nature of Viator means that many advances happen in isolated pockets. Some Viator choose to be lone nomads rather than forming colonies, traveling among the stars for reasons of their own.

I broke the app up into subsections because I wrote too much and it hurt to look at.
Is there something I missed about Viator that needs explaining? Tell me and I'll add it in.
Is this just too batshit insane for what you're doing? If that's the case, no big deal; I'll just play as one of your established races. (As I said earlier, I'm gonna wait to create a character until this is approved or denied.)

I haven't seen that movie or read the novel that some Googling tells me it's based on, but the pictures are similar, even if they are a bit more nightmarish. This concept art for the mimics is surprisingly close, though:

And the key idea is very similar; a lot of separate bodies controlled by one neural core. That's what the Mimics are.

Ships you say?

A F-Class ship, The Reaper is primarily used as a ground attack shuttle. Capable of unleashing the fury of up to four missile pods and equipped with dual canons, The Reaper is a furious beast on the attack, but has serious deficiencies that make it unsuitable for missions outside of it's very specific expertise. Fast moving enough for atmospheric flight, it is still slower than most fighters, and incapable of most ship to ship combat. The turn radius is large, and she doesn't move with the kind of speed a true Fighter would. That same lack of speed however, makes it easy for the gunner (separate gunner and pilot seats) to mow down enemies with precision.

Image

The Valkyrie is a G-Class Hunter-Killer, specifically designed for atmospheric and vacuum dog-fighting. Equipped with twin Ion canons and dual torpedo tubes, the Valkyrie is a dangerous ship. Painted mostly black, with only a soft glow coming from the engines due to their state of the art gas suppressant, it can disappear into the background of space, before accelerating to a maximum of 0.7c to make lightning fast dashes into combat. Valkyrie is best suited to a graceful dance than a drag out knock down fight.

Image

The Hongzhajiis a B-Class bomber. Designed for entering heavy combat against capitol ships, it is equipped with four heavy Ion canons, four laser turrets, a rear facing Ion turret, and a bomb bay capable of holding up to four twenty megaton nuclear weapons. It requires a two man crew, one pilot and one gunner/bombadier. The rear turret is automated, allowing the gunner to focus on aiming the bombs and forward guns. Not by any means a stealthy ship, the Hongzhaji is still capable of taking a heavy beating and returning home without fail.

Custom Race App

Species name: Aqualis (Literally means "ocean kin" in their language)

Appearance:
A typical male and female.
A female.
Aqualis Explorer

Aqualis are humanoid aquatic species with fish-like principles. Their most prominent feature is their three eyes, which can be any color from red to blue to green; and the same principal applies to their skin. It has been found that their body coloration is genetic, and not based on where an individual lives. They are most commonly found in bluish-purple skin coloration, but can vary. Their "hair" is actually small tentacle like strands, albeit they cannot be controlled and can be cut and regrown like regular hair.

Homeworld: Hydroxis, a very oceanic world where nearly 90% of the surface is water covered.

Other worlds:

Kaev, a damp, dense mountainous and forested world. Aqualis who live here long enough gain a strong immunity to hotter temperatures, of which was a former weakness of the Aqualis. However, this principle applies to every world with a high temperature, it's only more major with Kaev as it is the second most populated Aqualis world.

Independent or client?: Independent

Respiratory gas: Oxygen

Base form: The closest animalistic form to the Aqualis would definitely be a form of fish, but questions are raised as to which they are closest to. Many say they are similar to common fish that are at the bottom of the food chain; but this is not true in many cases. Research on behalf of their own labs shown their biological structures match sharks more closely than anything, more specifically bull shark or great white.

Lifespan: Roughly 110-120 years of age, as Aqualis herbalism and medicines are renown for their effectiveness.

Subspecies?: Nope.

Reproduction rate: Quite high. Aqualis give live birth, but very, very often more than one child is had during a single birth. Three children are the most common turnout for a pregnant Aqualis, with higher or lower numbers from time to time.

Mortality rate: Mortality rate is low to medium-low in most cases. As Aqualis have large amounts of children, this means that they are more likely to die, of course.

Intelligence: Being a cultural yet very science based species, they have an inherently high intelligence level. Medicine and practice of genetics and similar fields are renown in Aqualis society.

Natural Defense mechanism: Since they are a more refined species, they do not have a true natural defense instinct. Worse comes to worse, however, they do have sharp teeth to use for biting.

Information: No additional.
