Zein, do you mind if I adjust my character app slightly? Since I haven't posted much, this wouldn't mean any changes to gameplay. The changes I want to make:
Remove innate hearing and change it to an implant: It makes no sense for a space creature to naturally be able to hear. After all, in space no one can hear you scream. I'm not going to implant a speech module because I think forcing Oriana to sign will lead to interesting challenges in the future. If these challenges are annoying rather than interesting, I'll find a way to get speech IC.
Give Oriana an engine system: Oriana is supposedly from one of the technologically advanced colonies, so it's odd that it wouldn't have one of these. The plan for these is to have them work as engines in low and zero gravity, but be functional as weaponry in higher gravity due to the weight Oriana would have. In high-gravity environments, Oriana could not use them as engines, and in low gravity environments, they would cause some serious recoil, making them unsafe to use as weapons. I can go into more detail about the engines if you wish.
Related to the engine system, I would also give Oriana a passive shielding implant. If it could move at high speed, this would be needed to prevent microscopic solids from killing Oriana. In a mercenary occupation, in can stop some small arms fire, but is overpowered fairly easily by larger weapons or specialized rounds.
Make the bio not shitty: Because right now, it's sorta shitty.
If any of these are a no, feel free to say so. I'll wait for you to okay this before changing anything, Zein.
