Because it seems the entirety of the Wao Way is composed of ambiguous phrases? I mean jeeze did you read the OP? There's at least two interpretations of every freaking sentence.

The way of Wao if ancient, and it's true meaning is now ambiguous where the Wao once understood it. That's why it is how it is, the true meaning has not been passed down, leaving the new Wao to interpret the way.

Bio- Asilis wasn't born per say, rather, she was created in a lab. She and several dozen others were created in a top secret Gaian laboratory. The purpose of the project was to create the best super soldiers in the galaxy, or even a new form of Gaian. They were superior in everyway to a normal Gaian, smarter, faster, stronger, simply better. However, a side effect of their superiority developed years into the project. If they were supposed to be the future of the species, why were they obeying the scientists and military officials, who by their own words and educational programs, were inferior?


What followed was blood, violent, and destructive. The forces at the facility attempted to purge their mistake, the genetically engineered Gaians responded and rather soundly defeated the local garrison. The government sent in more forces, which were defeated, even a unit of Specters. It wasn't until the navy started bombing the facility that the generically engineered Gaians were defeated, still a good number surviving, though many of those were captured, just a few being able to escape, Asilis being one of them.


She wandered the galaxy, a galaxy she was told and taught, and believed was inferior, trying to find at least one of her kin, but unsuccessful. She is still hunted, over a century later. She's currently taken to hiding within the ranks of the Wao.

His father was a member of the Ragon nobility, and thus, Gornus was exposed to Ragon propaganda and the Ragon government at an early age. However, secretly, his mother taught him that the propaganda wasn't true and that the Ragon Empire was a dystopian dictatorship. Gornus's father found out about this, and as a result, his father divorced his mother and the Ragon government had her executed for "treason". This shocked Gornus, and it was the first step to his hatred towards the Ragon Empire. Gornus was then forced by his father to enroll in the Juskar, the special forces branch of the Ragon military. Gornus went through years of intense and brutal training, which turned him into a skilled marksman and increased his skills with other weapons, such as melee weapons.

Gornus went on to do special operations in various conflicts the Ragon were involved in, where he scored many kills and became one of the best marksman in the entire Ragon military. However, at the same time, he renewed his plans to defect from the Ragon Empire and have no association with it, as he was angry about what they did to his mother and how the Goth Dynasty was treating it's citizens. He could not wait until the day the Goth Dynasty was destroyed.

In 2541, during the first year of the Second Gaian-Ragon War, while fighting the Gaian forces, Gornus was shot in the chest by a Gaian sniper. He nearly died, but was saved by Ragon medics. While in a Ragon field hospital, Gornus took the opportunity to escape. He was successful, and he defected from the Ragon Empire and joined the Wao.
