In the following centuries, Zimbabwe became very wealthy from the copper and ivory produced in it's middle provinces.

In the 1530's, the Kingdom of Zimbabwe expanded outwards into Africa, conquering much of the Mozambique areas. Zimbabwe expanded north into Tanzinia in the 1570's, accessing the Indian Ocean. In 1642, Zimbabwe set Southern Africa into its sights, as the King wished to control more of that area. The Zimbabwean Army ventured into Southern Africa, but encountered the Mthethwa Paramountcy, which was another strong African state. Zimbabwe went to war with the Mthethwa's, but lost to their fierce ways of fighting, ans thus were limited to the areas outside of Southern Africa.

In the 18th Century, Zimbabwe came in contact with European powers. Men from Venice, a nation far away in Europe, colonized the coastlines south of Zimbabwe. And this wasn't the only occurrence. All around the continent, various European powers began to conquer the African coastlines. And soon, the greater nations of Africa began to collapse, with their coastlines taken from them (and thus their contact with the outside world cut off). Now Zimbabwe stands as one of the last major kingdoms in Africa.

The Holy Land was captured at the end of the 15th century, from there non-Catholic minorities have gradually decreased in several centuries, now there is a Catholic Majority.

As for Greece the vast majority is Catholic due to the fall of the Patriarch in 1505 and papal conversions since then.

I doubt it, many of Polands nobles lived in Krakow, which is in Russia.

I doubt it, many of Polands nobles lived in Krakow, which is in Russia.

But a kingdom is built on the backs of the nobility for support and legitimacy; assuming those in Parliament were some of the more powerful/connected/well-liked, and that their friends and family didn't like them being executed, that's some serious internal dissent right there. Even autocrats rarely kill off the plutocrats, because of the grief it'll bring to them. They really should have just been given punitive fines and jail time; now there's just going to be a mess.

I doubt it, many of Polands nobles lived in Krakow, which is in Russia.

The Constitution held too much power for the nobles, and the king after his sick leave went back to clean mess he never knew that was happening. He also did that to seize money from them. Surely they will be mad, but the nobles are left of no choice but to abide the King despite having too much power in the Constitution.

And yes, the nobility is the backbone of a kingdom, but never forget the King and his allied nobles as well, who are now the dominators of the country that was once a failure and a success. And even though nobles can rebel legally, the King's Household Armies can handle that, and Stanislaw's enemies know of it. So, they shudder from the plan to put him down and just follow him just to keep the country alive.

And since Stanislaw is leaning to the Austrians for protection, the nobles, both his allies and enemies, will change course.

Sure they've got a choice; legal redress in the court of law against excessive punishment, outright rebellion, withholding taxes, augmenting their personal armies, etc.

Sure, there are some nobles that support the King. They'd be less after this matter, and since they weren't in the legislature, they certainly weren't the more powerful/wealthy nobles. What happened to the sons and wives of the executed noblemen? Surely they have the same resources as their former lords, and would resist efforts to take all their wealth with force. This is the 1700s; in Eastern Europe feudalism persisted until the 1850s, so all the lords would still have significant armies at their personal pleasure, outside the auspices of the state. I highly doubt the regal armies could fight even a modest coalition of noblemen, as historically kings relied on the noble armies in time of war. Indeed, one of the main reasons feudal kings were deposed was attempting to amass a personal army to defeat or take land from his vassals.

"Minor"? It will not be "minor" if a king will protest his grievances he heard from his very own people to the highest court of justice the corruption he uprooted against his nobles who were sneaking against him all along. The king was letting them do what they want, because the nobles are totally in control of the government through the Constitution (Cardinal Laws). They can rebel, yes, but it will be soon purged since the armies of the King will surely pin them down, and they know it, but underestimated its consequences. The executed noblemen were reasonably executed prior to the evidences presented by the King himself to the Chief Justice in front of the accused. What did the accused nobles did? Denied of course. And with the amount of evidence (take note of the bunch of papers I mentioned) presented in the snap trial, it was totally reasonable. The King did that to take what the nobles took from the coffers of the treasury which is the reason why the government cannot afford the best defenses and even best facilities for the people. In short, he cleansed the country by blood.

I mentioned about a "new Sejm". This new Parliament he formed, after dissolving the old one full of corrupt nobles, is now filled with his allies, particularly the Wettins who previously occupied the Polish throne and chose Stanislaw's family to rule next, and as a debt of gratitude, they formed alliance. The noble's armies are no more, since their masters were done for. Some may revolt, but, again, will be purged. So, resistance is futile.
