I have a reason, but with everybody else jumping on board the "support Israel" bus, German support is only needed in the logistical matters of things, and even then, best to jump in only when the situation demands it.

Things I want -A joint Military base one in the USA and one in Latvia. -A small price discount for my loyalty to buying your military goods. (if you can manage.) -Joint trade on goods. (But I am outlawing fast food. And adding health standards to my people. To keep people healthy.) -Possible duel citizenship for both Americans and Latvians. -Joint Military Development in tactics and weapons. -Nuclear Umbrella deal. -AND LAST, if I am attacked you support me if you are attacked I support you.

Oh and full cooperation between Inteligance Agencys and investigation Agencys. And if aLatvian is in trouble in the USA he is tried in a joint court same for Americans if they get in trouble in Latvia.

Those are all mutually beneficial to me. The only thing I want to drop is the citizenship, as that could prove to be difficult.
As well as the basing, it's rather hard to have foreign troops on US soil for more than 2 months as I've discovered.

It's just like how USA has a US base in almost every country in Europe. But Latvia could have one in the east coast and train with your military. Or they could just be station at one of your existing bases for a span of about six months at a time.. Maybe 150 troops around the tops. And if would pay for them to stay. Food and all. And you do the same in Latvia if you want.
