Actually, I was told previously that the power of the gods is proportional to size of their cults. (Though they would not be rendered powerless without a cult - they'd merely be weakened.)

Actually that makes total sense. The souls I capture give me the strength of that person to use how I wish so the same should be said for gods. Right now I'd be at 10 souls of power and they'd be at 1,000,000 souls of power.

If I am confident that Balor will never kill Mauro, you can be damned sure Grey isn't going to do it, and if you don't like that then too bad.

Souls don't provide dominion of forces of nature, etc. They sort of power they give you is not comparable to "divine power".

Of course not but they empower them. They're still super powerful being by themselves but those that worship them increase their power.

Because flight depends on more than having wings. Humanoids aren't aerodynamic and lack the appropriate muscle mass to create a sufficient lift force.
