Omega app in the morning. It somehow got into Asari opera, which is apparently a big thing and - judging by Asari culture - would be fantastic.

As for Asari opera, I'd imagine it would be kind of odd, occasionally raucous, incredibly beautiful, be rather long (although to be fair opera generally is), have a massive amount of emotional realism, and make all sorts of awkward criticisms. Asari can say whatever they want to, and therefore probably do. Given that they named a planet after an opera star, I'd say that opera is a pretty common way to say it.
Illan, go do it. Whatever. However, it does seem kind of stupidly excessive and game-destabilizing. Quarians and Geth are supposed to fight. That's their thing. I fail to see any actual IG reasoning beyond "let's crush something" that would justify this and solve the mutual enmity stretching back for three hundred years of mutual genocide.

Like I said, Stan. It literally happens in the game. And it's not going to be my fucking thing as long as I play them.
Also, as for reasons, I have many. Maybe the Quarians are sick of fighting the Geth and they want their world back without conflict. Maybe they just want to stop dragging on a 300+ year long genocide, make friends again, and reintegrate into galactic society. And all this takes is the convincing of the Admirals and Conclave. And that isn't hard.

Brief description of diplomatic relations: Cerberus' core belief is that humans deserve a greater role in the galactic community, and that the Systems Alliance is too hamstrung by law and public opinion to stand up effectively to the other Citadel races. Nevertheless, both the Systems Alliance and the Citadel Council have declared Cerberus to be a terrorist organization and will prosecute identified Cerberus agents accordingly.
Military state of readiness: Cerberus is divided into numerous independent cells which have no knowledge of their counterparts. This ensures that should one cell be compromised, the others would not be captured. Each cell is led by an operative who reports directly to the Illusive Man. Cerberus operates many kinds of cells, ranging from military to political to scientific, but all united under the common goal of advancing humanity. Cerberus also has operatives throughout the Alliance, often embedded in high-ranking positions, giving the Illusive Man constant updates and feeding him information that would otherwise be classified.
As of 2185, Cerberus consists of 150 operatives organized into three cells. The Illusive Man oversees all projects carried out by the cells personally; consequently, there are never more than a dozen projects active at one time. This degree of micro-management leaves the organization vulnerable should the Illusive Man ever be compromised, though he has been smart enough to avoid detection so far.
History: Cerberus arose from the tumult of the First Contact War in 2157 CE, a conflict between humanity and the first alien race they had encountered after achieving spaceflight, the turians. During the turian occupation of Shanxi, a trio of human mercenaries, Jack Harper, Eva Coré, and Ben Hislop, served with the Systems Alliance forces led by General Williams who were resisting the turians. After capturing a turian general, the mercenaries became embroiled in the general's conspiracy to use an ancient alien artifact to transform the turians into a race of invincible supersoldiers under his command. With the aid of the general's brother, Saren Arterius, Harper was able to foil the plot, but both Coré and Hislop were lost. In the aftermath, Harper realized that although the galaxy was abundant with knowledge and wealth, it was also a dangerous place, and a dark time was coming for humanity. It was humanity's duty to meet this challenge, and Harper resolved to do everything in his power to better humanity and ensure their place among the stars. With that, Harper published the manifesto of Cerberus and assumed the identity of the Illusive Man.

So, I propose that we hold it off for now Illan and just slowly find a way to make their relationship get better somehow or another. Until then, the Geth will be busy raiding Arcturus Station.
Also, Admiral Koris must become more relevant.

Well, during the Battle of Rannoch he uses his ship to block a Geth attack on a liveship. His ship is shot down and whilst it's tumbling to Rannoch, he redirects its course to crash into a Geth Anti-Ship Cannon, IIRC.
He's separated from his crew and you're tasked with retrieving him. Towards the end of the mission, you make contact with him. You get into the famous ME Conversations and you need to convince him to come with you, because he wants you to save his crew.
If you manage to save Koris, he rallies the Civilian Fleet from routing and voices support for Shepard and Tali during the final decision on Rannoch, if peace is being brokered.

So basically tries to become a martyr but you should strong arm him into survival?
