Kl-04: The Situation...is....I think there are a couple more Commies in that Place. After all, we did push into Beijing. Right? I assume the Commies there will die off soon. Commies have a horrible military, just like this "Legion". Besides, our boys in Anchorage will destroy them!

Shepard began to upload the same code to the General, then the entire BoS History files. It explained the great war, the enclave and their evils, the Brotherhood, the NCR, the Legion, EVERYTHING. It revealed that the Brotherhood was the only hope for America. He showed the General that America is dead, and that Shepard is not the President. It showed the General that Humanity as a whole must survive, America can wait.

Flagstaff, Caesar's Legion, 3:00 AM.
In the middle of the Night Caesar was awoken. Vulpes Inculta spoke hurriedly In a hushed voice "Caesar, our frumentarii suspect that there's an imminent attack upon us! The area formerly known as the fort is buzzing with activity, there are event robots who appear to be armed. What shall we do?" Caesar thought for a moment, the legions weapons would be useless against robots "Vulpes, arm the bombers with our stealth boys, we must fight fire with fire. Ready the army, we shall be marching on the land east of the Colorado. And I have another idea as well, listen to me." The men spent minutes talking while a messenger talked to the legate, by 4:00 am, they were on their way back east. The Legate lashed his men onward, and they were traveling fast, including some women who were excited to be serving. Although the condition of the Legion was questionable, many were ready to die under the flag of the bull.

The assembled force of troopers numbered about 15. They were standing next to the cliff, with grappling hooks and rope.

"You're sure this will work?" Major Knight said worriedly.

"Nope." Ben replied, holding onto his rope.

"Lovely." Knight said, gripping his rope tighter. The entire platoon pulled themselves up the cliff, trying hard not to make a sound. 15 soldiers from the reinforcements had already filled in for the missing troopers.

"Alright everyone, now we go down." Ben said, now descending the cliff face. The moon was new that night, and he could barely tell when he had hit the ground. He quickly gathered the troopers together and quietly said. "Stick together and move fast. If we get caught it'll mean war." Benjamin led the troopers as they started across the Mojave.

Brotherhood Raid-Prescott
In order to prevent the Legion from gaining too much morale, the Brotherhood has initiated "Operation Apollo". In Operation Apollo, the Brotherhood of Steel will launch raids on Legion-held territories and annihilate the Legionaries.

As early morning is upon the town of Prescott, Arizona, many still sleep. Legion troops guard parts of the town, but stand no chance against the might of the Brotherhood. A vertibird drops of 7 men armed with heavy weapons, who sweep through the town, killing every Legion Soldier. The Brotherhood troops rounded up the slaves and citizens that live under Legion oppression, then return to the Citadel.

The Brotherhood Embassy
The doors are guarded by 2 Hellfire troops, who's reputation succeeds that of the NCR Rangers' in toughness and combat prowess. They carry plasma rifles. When you enter, a Scribe sits at the reception desk next to a Followers Doctor. The Brotherhood will confiscate weapons then allow you to proceed. The lobby floor is a lounge, used for guests, doctors, and soldiers to relax. The lower floors are used as a Refugee Center and Medical Store for the Followers, and the upper floors contain a Brotherhood recruitment office, the Ambassador's office and room, an office area, etc.

Benjamin led his men through the canyons near the Hidden Valley. It was the most direct route to the Colorado, and it was also deserted. The troopers had to fight off several rad-scorpion attacks, no casualties. His men continued, crossing Highway 95. They had narrowly avoided a Securitron patrol. Ben noticed that the Securitron had the Brotherhood symbol on its screen. After a few more hours the troops reached Cottonwood cove, and rested on a cliff overlooking the cove.

Benjamin observed trough his binoculars that the Cove was filled with Free Vegas troops. Cursing to himself he crawled back to the others. "Alright, we'll wait until nightfall, then we will sneak in and grab those boats." Benjamin relayed his plan to the others. "Hopefully we don't get caught."

Cottonwood Cove
The troops here were mostly Knights, so they weren't as experienced as the few Paladins, but they had the Cove locked down pretty well. 2 guards with Gatling Lasers guarded the main entrance, but they were most likely exhausted. 2 Knights guarded entrance on the dock, and a Tesla Paladin paced on the dock itself. Paladin Mason was awake in his quarters, having stayed awake all Knight filing paperwork.

Utah, Near Great Salt Lake
Caesar's legion steadily marches forward in the blistering sun. The men are weary after a long march, and the legate sets up camp near the lake. As they are resting on the water, a scout from the 80's tribe strays too close. A frumentariius draws a blade to his throat and he is tied up and brought into the legate's tent. "Legate, we found this tribal scouting out our camp. He appears to be from the 80's raider group. Shall we crucify him?" The Legate looked the man straight in the eye and said, "No, he will give us information first, Where is your camp?" he said in a deadpan voice. "Suck my fucking cock you dick socket!" the man replied. "Very well, Vulpes, get me my machete." Vulpes scurried off and came back. The legate dashed forward quickly and grabbed the scout and slammed his head down on a table. The legate stretched the mans arm out and lopped off his hand at the wrist. The guards secured the man again, and he watched as the legate slowly ate one of his severed fingers. He went to the other hand and held it up, and the legate bit into his thumb hard and it broke with a satisfying crunch. The man was screaming and he bellowed out "The camp! The camp is under the I-80, just east of here!" The legate looked down upon him and said, "Good, Crucify him." And by morning the camp was again marching. With a team of 2 Vexilarius carrying the crucifix as a threat to all who dared oppose the legion.

Sam walked out of the elevator casually, he looked at the sunrise and was motivated "Daybreak has come." He said and then chuckled, he looked at the Lucky 38's guards and politely said, "Good Morning." The men said "Good Morning Sir" and Sam smiled, he was glad they weren't unenthusiastic about this situation. Then he walked to the Embassy and requested they send out twenty five men to seize McCarran, it was abandoned after the NCR were pushed back and now the loot left over was ripe for the taking. Soon the flag of the NCR was taken down. However, he decided that it was time the Mojave got a flag, and soon after an hour of decision making an work they had raised the flag of the Mojave.

However this was only the first copy, they called it the Flag of the Republic and it would soon be produced in a larger number. However, they had more work at hand first. They would need to take at least one more base and finish off the bases in Freeside before they could call the day complete, however, it was still only morning so Sam hoped to take all of Outer Vegas into the protection and liberation of the Free Mojave Army. He decided to go to the train station via the trains at McCarran, from there he ordered fifteen men to take Horowitz Farmstead and another twenty to take Mormon Fort now that the Followers were in the former Gomorrah casino. The men set out for Horowitz Farmstead aware that there was a threat of giant ants, so they were cautious and made sure to find and destroy the nests, a process they knew would take a few days if that little. Sam then walked back to the Former Kings base and sent five to Fort Mormon and five to McCarran since the area was relatively secure. With that he took a final tally of the forces and headed back to the Embassy to get it all down on a noteboard and a secure computer.

Sentinel Shepard has called for an assembly between the leaders of the Daybrake Movement, Free Vegas Army, and the Brotherhood of Steel at the Brotherhood Embassy.

Shepard sits at his desk filling out papers, when his terminal lights up with a message from Washington DC. Shepard immediatley opened it.

Code: Select all: Dear Son of James, In your time gone, much has changed in the Capital Wasteland. The Super Mutant threat has dropped significamtly, Project Purity has clean water along the east coasts as far north as Atlantic City. Also, the Brotherhood has begun producing Enclave Models of Power Armor more and more, thanks to data captured during the war. A war with Talon Company has them scattered... But not all is perfect. The people of the Capital Wasteland miss you, and so does the Brotherhood. Sarah and the Pride are heading back east tomorrow, and if you wish, you may occompany them. I will understand if you have grown attatched to the local populace, and in that case may stay until you see fit to return. Steel be with You, Lone Wanderer, -Elder Lyons

Shepard messaged him back, explaining how he'd love to return but just could not at the moment. Shepard shall stay longer, he owes the people his gifts...

The FVA would be preparing their boats for something. Snipers, Perimeter patrols, a few super mutants, riflemen, navy crewmen, and Heavy armor units would be stationed. The boats would be prepared to take off and possibly attack the legion.

Sam walked into the Embassy curious, what could they want from him as representative of the Daybreak movement, sure, he was good at conscripting men and gaining support but he technically wasn't its leader. However, since all the other Daybreak founders were gone, perhaps this was reasonable after all. He walked in and waited to be told what was next.

2 Hellfire Soldiers approached, and they would look fiercesome and experienced, the kind of men with a no bullshit attitude. "Please disarm" one said, his voice very deep and raspy like a Ghoul.

Sam smiled and asked in a friendly joking voice, "But then how do I protect myself in case your men turn on me?" He paused and said, "I'm kidding of course. Here, I have a nine millimeter pistol, though I don't see how I would seriously harm you with it since you're wearing power armor. But I suppose regulations are for the best." he handed over the pistol and went to meet Shepard. He approached him and said, "Well, I see you're running the Embassy by strip standards, probably a good call with all the enemies out there these days. So, why did you call me here?"

Caesar's Legion advanced down the highway, the sun was high above them and the army saw smoke out in the distance. As they marched forward the legate ordered the vexilarius to light the crucifix on fire. They wore gloves to protect them selves and they hoisted the man up high, who was crying out and throwing curses around as he slowly burned on the cross. They approached the 80's base, a ramshackle collection of shacks and tents. The chieftain was in his tent when a man ran in, "Chief, a huge army of men wearing red is here, they wish to speak to you." the chief cursed and muttered "The legion" under his breath. He walked out of the tent and walked to the middle of the road.
A lone legionary came up to the Chief. "We are Caesar's legion the rulers of the southwest, conquerors of the 86. We bring civilization and order to worthy tribes, and destruction to those who resist. Your group is the next target for our enlightenment, will you join us?" The entire legion stood in a kneeling Testudo, ready to fire if they resisted. And the lowly legionary was ready to be obliterated if the chieftain declined. In the foliage to the north, a team of White Legs were ready to assault the camp with their storm drums. The world was at a standstill.

Sam understood what this could mean. "Alright, so you might go home, who would be filling in for you? Would he be a friend of a Free Mojave? I mean, I trust you more than someone I don't know and I know you must be homesick, but are you sure that it would be best to leave now? After all, we have unfinished business with the NCR. But more than that I need to have a formal meeting like this one discussing what the future of this nation will be like in relation to yours." Sam sighed, "Sorry I'm a bit on edge lately, I need to secure the region, so as of now there might be a Legion Army hiding somewhere and I wouldn't have the slightest knowledge of it. So I suppose I might ask again more calmly, what was your decision?"
