The Fire Settles
As Jason continued the journey he found himself pinned in a highway full of deathclaws. However, he has a combat shotgun and a flare gun, Jean had a sniper rifle and the ghoul had a chaingun. As he took out his flare gun a deathclaw noticed him charging. He fired the flare gun and as it fled Jean picked it of with his rifle. They continued down further until they reached a truck knocked over on its side. Using it for cover Jean carefully snipped the Deathclaw and it fell to the ground. Jason smiled and said to Jean, "Just like when we were kids huh?" Jean laughed but his face suddenly became horrified. From the rear view mirror shards on the ground he saw the Deathclaw hovering over him. He ducked as it swung at him and Jason shot it with the flare gun, it ran falling into the canyon below. They reached an old world apartment building and camped out there as the sun settled. He then began explaining the story of the Daybreak Movement to Derrick who seemed to slowly become more and more open minded about it even warming up to the point that he seemed like he might join at any moment, but sleep came before that moment and they took turns on watch.

Shepard proceeded to his room, which he absolutely loved. It was more like a house. It was a lot like the Atrium of Vault 101. His room was on the left, a large room with a large Brotherhood Flag hanging from the wall. It had lots of souvenirs from his many adventures and a comfy king waterbed. Across the hall was the kitchen/dining room, which was nice and clean. There was a stairway that led to the top floor, where his office was located, which was identical to the overseer's office.

Shepard entered his room and opened the door to the armory. He put his armor and gear away, then dressed in his Vault 101 Jumpsuit. He jumped on his bed... and slipped into sleep...

Sam was about to turn in for the night but he decided it would be best to set up patrols and areas for guards to focus on when out in the city. So he deployed ten men from the McCarran train station to the Lucky 38 and put thirty men from the Embassy on patrol in Freeside under the command of David Lancaster who would be based where the kings once were located. He then turned in, however, not having a house he decided to crash in the Presidential Suite in the Lucky 38, he would only live there until the election, then he would only remain there if elected. He thought to himself, the brotherhood won't like it if we look too much like the US, but I like their election system. I know, we will have direct elections and five year terms to separate ourselves from the US government, in addition you can only serve three terms, however, I will only do one if that. He then slowly drifted to sleep and prepared for the next day in which he hoped to finish setting up positions at Freeside and by the end of the day have a post or two in outer Vegas.

(As Tenpenny tries to tuck Shepherd in as quietly as possibly, Kl-04 is busy watching Small Legion Camps around The New Citadel be attacked, gradually forcing Legion forces in those Camps to Retreat, and Begin to set up Turret Defenses around the Walls of the New Citadel, and also, calling a Protectron into the War Room...)

General Kl-04: (Floating in the War Room, alone. In his Spare "Arm" he is holding a Small Box, containing Medals. including a Sherriff's Badge.

Protectron: Hello, General. You called?

General Kl-04: Good. We need a Police force in this Place, for us Robots. It will help create order. (He opens up the Box, and Puts the Sheriffs Badge on the Protectron.) He were one of the Protectrons in Secondary Command of the Anti-Socialist Force around this base. You are now "Warrant Officer Weld". Keep watch for Criminals and Assassins seeking to kill Commander Shepherd. Make sure to stop them. Alright?


(After he done, he heads over to Shepherd's quarters, and puts the Box full of Medals on the Nightstand, and then goes back to the War Room.)

The Brotherhood Embassy on the Strip has been completed, along with the Followers Refugee Camp. Scribe Jacob Pallen has been named the Ambassador. The Brotherhood Flag waves high above the Embassy, and dozens hang from the concrete awning.

President Jobson sat in a chair, flanked by two Rangers. Two more Rangers were on either side of Benjamin. "So, you come to tell me not to do anything. To ABANDON the Mojave, to abandon the dam, for which so many lost their lives. Let's not forget Kimball, assassinated." Jobson's face was red with rage, spittle flew with his final words.

"I have come to say that it would be unwise to attack. They have Brotherhood forces from the east, they are strong, much stronger than the Brotherhood here." Benjamin replied, trying his best to remain calm.

"But I know somethings you don't. For one, the Legion is regaining strength in the east. The betrayal of the Remnants has created unrest among the population. An attack now could help us retake the Mojave and destroy the Legion."

"You say the Legion is gaining strength, then attack the Legion, not the Mojave. If we stop the Legion then we could ease the current tensions with the Mojave, maybe make an alliance."

"Maybe you're right, but I will not give up the Mojave so easily." The argument was getting tense, and everyone could sense it. The Rangers tightened their grips on their weapons. Ben slowly stood, staring straight into the President's eyes. He had an idea, he could do all the things he wanted.

"I would like to take control of the Mojave forces Mr. President." Benjamin held the Presidents gaze.

"Why should I let a stranger be in charge of the most influential army in the NCR?" Jobson said incredulously.

"Because the soldiers there trust me. I led them, and got them food when their supplies were dwindling. I'm sure they would follow me into the Divide if I asked them."

"Alright, If you can pull this off, you'll be a hero. And if you can't, then I'll hang you myself."

Shepard opened his eyes and stretched, realizing that he was in Sexy Sleepwear and tucked in. He laughed and sat up. "Tenpenny!" he yelled.

Benjamin strode into the Mojave Outpost, and was met by the cheers of the soldiers. Major Knight approached him and said. "Ben, the reinforcements from the NCR arrived not more than a week after you left. They're camped on the NCR side of the Outpost." Benjamin thought this over, everything was going according to plan.

"How soon can the boys move out?" Benjamin asked.

"Within an hour, why?" Knight said quizzically.

"We're going to attack the Legion!" Ben said grinning, he then relayed the plan to the Major. "Can you get that ready?" Ben asked. "Right away, General." Knight replied and ran off to do what he had been assigned.

General KL-04: Commander! I have some Reports. Some Good News is that the Legion Camps around here have been routed and also forced back into the East. However..we are also aware that the NCR may be attemping to move into the Mojave. We've been getting suspicious troop Movements from the NCR. None of the Other Union Government Officials, including our own, do not seem worried about this. What are you're orders?
