"I can't say I know much about the east since my last visit, but I'm sorry about your father. It is my belief that Clean water is dearly important for everyone that's living whether mutant, pure or otherwise and the supply of which shouldn't be threatened, what happened out there?"

After all who else would try their darnedest to free a foreign land from an oppressive leader, who else would send away their own power armoured boys scout paramilitary forces and what family they had left to earn a shot at some respect from the people of this land, who else would stick their neck out and fight the govt of these United States of America in the name of protecting citizens from a genicidal computer and tyrant and who else would risk their life time and time again for a cause you aren't just in tune with but highly devoted to like freedom after all wasn't it you that killed not just caesar but Lanius as well? And all before your 30th birthday by your appearance no doubt. No mr. Shepard, not disappointed, again, I think impressed would be a far better word to use." Said Castor in a cheerful confident manner trying to raise shepard's spirits.

General Kl-04 returns to the Bitter Springs camp, and continues to plan for the Zion Campaign. He brings a couple other Mister Guties to help him plan for it. After leaving them to what they feel like, he returns to New Vegas.

Eagle squad 8 closes in noticing the attackers lack of notice that they were there. They proceeded to take positions in a tactical formation Boxing the terrorists in between the guards and the Eagle operatives. They then began spraying them down with .45 auto SMGs and picking them off with sniper rifles.

Most of the bullets missed the men, and some only grazed them as they continued to cut down the guards and push towards Daniel.

Which is unrealistic since they got ambushed and were facing far superior forces. As they continued to fire at least five men were hit.

While I flew off I saw them running out of the base, I like to think they survived the onslaught, that they integrated into the Ncr or at the very least survived and found civilization elsewhere but as much as I've tried digging up records, I can't find anything to back up my hopes Shepard. Haven't found anything yet, probably never will, the vertibird I came here with was special and it's gone too. So yes Shepard, I had a family, got some lovely home movies too, but my family Shepard, as much as I hope they are alive, they probably aren't, I don't like talking about it much, it's too painful."

I almost went insane down there, alone. So you see Shepard, were in quite similiar situations, your isolated from your people in the east, I'm isolated from my people who I just learned are alive. Not only that but I may just be one of the last pure humans around apart from my friends. But you'll see that things are kind off like those old car mirrors, they're always brighter than they appear. But was there something about your trial you needed to talk to me about Shepard?"

I ran into that irradiated chamber, ready to join my father in death if it meant that others could live, and that was questionable. People called me reckless, they called me uncontrollable, but at the end of the day, I knew I did the right thing". Shepard sighed.

The most respected and well known Military Officials, including Sentinel Tristan, Elder Lyons, Sarah Lyons, and the other officials sat around the conference desk inside the Citadel. Sentinel Trident, a respected veteran of the Philadelphia Campaign, brought news of opportunities in the West...

TRIDENT: "Elder, sir. I have reports here from our New Vegas Ambassador.

E. LYONS: "Yes? Is it about Shepard?"

TRIDENT: "Well, yes and no. First, he sent the Citadel a report the Sentinel Shepard was reportadly arrested by FRoM officals after meeting with generals at a military conference. He was later psychologically abused by a paramilitary force. Still, he faces a trial.

(Sarah's eyes widen as she looks at Trident in horror)

SARAH: "My god..."

(Trident continued to speak, somewhat saddened by Sarah's reaction)

TRIDENT: "Official reports say that he is being tried for the "Mass Killing" of Enclave Remnants, plotting against government, and... terrorism"

SARAH: "He would never involve himself in terrorism! And those Enclave Bastards had that coming! This is shit!"


E. LYONS: "Sarah... my dear, please stay calm. Terrorism, in what way?"
TRIDENT: "It says... basically, working with the Brotherhood to... overthrow government and start revolts... propaganda..."

(Everyone in the room seems to turn to stone. Each and every one looked to the empty seat beside Sarah where Shepard used to sit They all loved him, and he loved all of them)

TRISTIN: "This is not acceptable! If anyone knows him, it is me! We fought side-by-side against the Enclave, and what they are saying doesn't match up!"

E. LYONS: "Please, calm down. I'm sure I can pull some strings and get him to come home..."

TRIDENT: "About that, Elder Lyons... the Sentinel has decided to take full responsibilty and face the consequences".

(The room was still silent and saddened)

SARAH: "This can't be happening. Father, we have to do something!"

E. LYONS: "I know... I know... Sentinel Shepard is near and dear to our hearts and to lose him would be... a tragety for all of Mankind. I will write a letter to the FRoM, clear things up. What else, Trident?"

(TRIDENT FLIPS THE PAPER)

TRIDENT: "Well, the Ambassador informed us of a location known as the Big MT, a pre-war science facility with nearly limitless amounts of technology. He wants us to send a Garrison out West to establish it as a base and organized military force in the West"

(The Elder thinks deeply of this...)

E. LYONS: "Industrialization and the expanse of recruits from Philadelphia had made re-expansion of the West a possibility. This may rile up some of their people, but it will allow the Brotherhood to reach out and gather ourselves in the West once again. Who wishes to send men West?"

(Almost everyone in the room raises their hand. Elder Lyons nods and dismisses everyone)

Dear Grand and Noble President of the FRoM,
I am Elder Owyn Lyons of the Brotherhood of Steel in the East. My Sentinel, and dear son-in-law, was recently arrested due to the below charges:

-Mass Killing of Enclave Remnants on Hoover Dam
-Instigating riots in "Westside"
-Plotting against the Government

Sir, as the father of his wife, I must insist that these charged be dropped. While not the ideal decision, the killing on the Hoover Dam were brought onto Enclave Remnants, who according to Sentinel Shepard, admitted to the murder of innocent people in the past. In addition, Sentinel Shepard was ON-DUTY for the Brotherhood of Steel at the time, therefor, being an active member, is not subject to punishments from an ally of the conflict. Secondly, my forces were not "instigating" riots. Matter of fact, that was the last thing we wanted to do. We were near a state of war, and we wanted to ensure that at least some of the population was in support of the Brotherhood of Steel. This is basic war, not terrorism. Third, there was no plotting against the Government. The only time Sentinel Shepard was working against your government was while there were Brotherhood Forces in your land. When he ordered them back East, he personally renounced his position as an active member of the Brotherhood of Steel. His many letters sent to myself and my daughter have made it clear that his intentions were to further YOUR nation. Lastly, I must say that his arresting was unlawful. There was absolutley NO evidence to support the idea that he was a spy, and as stated earlier, he was under MY juristiction at the time of the Battle. Even if he wasn't, the FVA had no code of conduct. However, while we speak of the past, I must apologize for our actions against your people. It was wrong for us to think we could take your people. If there is a way to apologize, and to make up for it, do not hesitate to return with a letter.

Jason arrived at Vault 19 and began thinking of his past. He needed a break, so he decided to finally pursue what he saw at Moonshine cinema, he knew that scientific wonders awaited and that they could better the Mojave in a war against the Legion and NCR. So he dispatched Eagle squads 4, 5, and 9 and snake team 1. This way they could easily clear the area to convert it into a military sciences area. They began the walk to Moonshine Cinema, they decided to request an Army Platoon shield the area as classified military area. So they did. Now official property of the Mojave, it was closed off to the Public.
