If your asking if its only multiplayer, than no, it is single player as well.

If your asking if you need to be signed into Steam to play, which I believe you do, then yes you need internet.

EDIT: If you scroll to the bottem of the page, you will see it says internet connection required under system requirements.

You can play the single player campagin offline.

Unfortunately, some games requires internet to play the rest of the features. Hopefully however, the game has another mode of offline mode.

So I'm working on an RP based in the year 30,000 BC. However, being based in the Drakesing universe it means that humanity was not only very well developed but also had an empire that rivals another empire called the Neanderthal Republic. It will be based around the fall of Cthulhu and the sinking of R'lyeh. It's got a lot of sci-fi characteristics too, not just magic. And to add an extra twist it's the ice age which means a lot of the animals of the modern era are replaced by things like Sabre Tooth Tigers and Woolly Mammoths. Also a lot of other stuff.

Also I'm looking for Co-Ops. Like, I need them before I set up the RP.

Detailed Description: You have all been brought together at the Fortress of [X], following a notice that had been posted throughout the cities that dot the world. For whatever reason, be it gold, loot, vengeance, or some other reason, you have heeded this call, to slay [Evil dood]. Packing your gear, you traveled here, and find yourself in the company of the like you'd never have thought to meet. You will travel the world in your quest for glory and fame, gold and loot, and vengeance - and nothing will stand in your way. With the fortress' and airship of the expedition's "founder", you will hunt throughout the entire world, and beyond. As your riches grow, so will your fame and power, and you will invest into the group's sturdy flying ship, and fortress, until you are finally prepared for the final battle against [Evil dood]...



Slightly lame description, but eh. Steampunk/fantasy RP in which folks in an airship do missions, loot shit, upgrade shit, and do general awesome stuff. Gauging interest, and seeing if anyone has any ideas for our "nemesis". I was thinking of either some powerful rogue mage, or something akin to the Wild Hunt.
Let's hope there's some interest, and some interesting ideas.

I graduated what you call high school with flying C's. I still went to college, and have a relatively fun and well paying job. Then again, I also did more athletics than I care to count.

I currently have 92% in English (which, to be frank, is below what my standards would normally be for that class, but I'm willing to forgive myself because it's IB) and 77% in Chemistry (which, while I know I'm not good at the sciences and it's an IB class, I would like to get up to 85% by the end of the semester if at all possible). And in my two online courses (the assignments of which don't have deadlines) I've only finished about 5 assignments in each, and if I don't pick up the slack within the next month or two I'm going to fail both.

So yeah. Basically, it's a vicious cycle for me: Life sucks; so I get depressed; so I distract myself with socialising, RPs, and TV; so I fall behind in my work; so I lose marks; so I get more depressed.

And the fucking counsellor at my school says, "Oh, you can get into any university as long as you're willing to give them money." I swear, they're all fucking idiots and I'm pretty sure they got their jobs by trying to get a teaching degree at the local university and failing.

Don't intentionally fail PE. Just do the bare minimum in the units you're shitty at, and try your best in the units you're actually somewhat good at, like I did. Otherwise they might make you take it again.

I love listening to High Schoolers saying, "I'm in a college level class", when referring to AP. Well you're not. College classes are much harder than AP classes.
