Well, the longer the better, at least for my sake.

I downloaded the demo to the latest on my 360 once. The music, style, and gameplay all didn't interest me.

The idea mainly comes from airships and floating islands and the like being ubercool, with the upgrading bits being one of the things I'm really looking forward to in the new Dragon Age game!

Maybe I'm a complete music nerd, but the main draw for me was actually the music (and the graphics). I will agree that the game play sucked, though.

And now you've got me interested in your idea. But, the only problem I have is that I am not currently going to take on any more RPs. I'm full as it is with TKaG, and am waiting for IJ's sci-fi RP to start.

Final Fantasy II was the only one I liked. The story line is amazing, it has a legendary soundtrack, the gameplay is alright...
it's actually a very fun game that makes you think hard, and it even made me cry at come points!
Major part of my childhood, right there.

A mild example: Once in Creative Writing last year I wrote an erotica about the soul of man in Hell being tortured by demons, then stumbling across a demonic brothel and falling in love with an incubus whom he knew in life as a human. Guess what happened next.

Unfortunately I had to write it in two parts because the upper limit per submission was 2 pages or so, and I never got the chance to hand in the second (e.g. explicit) part because the school year was ending and the teacher didn't want to take in any more submissions.

I actually wrote a lot of slightly disturbing stuff in that course. Graphic torture scenes (though I toned them down a bit for the teacher's sake), tales of death (GRA actually came out of one of those), erotica, etc. Luckily the teacher didn't seem to mind much.

Basically there's a guy who is living in some oppressed country. He has a wife and basically their lives are miserable. One day he finally just straight up tries to kill himself but is stopped by someone. Angel or demon, who offers him some piece of jewelry that he says will grant him extraordinary power, but it will cost him something in return later. He agrees, and takes the whatchamacallit. Goes on a rampage decimating basically everything in his path,, friend and foe alike, and eventually overthrows the government that was oppressing them. His wife tells him that she's leaving him because he killed dozens of innocent people and he kills her. Then he kills himself when he realized what he did.
