Well, I wish you the best of luck; but I have a feeling that Natalia will be too busy ripping out the intestines of Ukranian Soldiers to notice you. You'll have to try to pull off a 'Notice me Senpai!' ploy.

And doesn't she speak Russian?

The languages are virtually identical, closer than French and Spanish, so your basically learning both languages for the price of one. Besides, I'm a blue-blooded American, I wouldn't get caught dead speaking Russian (The Commies!) (Also, how is that even possible?)

Crimea was an ethnically Russian Province of Ukraine, where a majority of the inhabitants, including Natalia, spoke Russian. And while it is possible for a Russian to understand a Ukranian, and vice versa, it is rather difficult to get some words across; imagine a Southerner trying to understand a guy with a thick Boston accent. Basically that.

I had a cool idea for an RP. Something where a race of technologically advanced aliens place a collection of assorted alien races and what have you on a single planet, and watch what they do as part of an experiment. Obviously, the players would be one of these aliens, and each race would equal population levels. Good be a cool combination of faction and character RPing.

Could work, but you should be careful balancing the different races out seeing as they've got equal numbers.

Perhaps, it would make more sense to decide the population based on the strengths and weaknesses of each race.

There's actually a guy with a petition in Japan, and he says that if he gets 1 Million Signatures, he'll turn the petiton in the Japanese Government. What is the petition? He wants the Government to legalize marrying fictional characters, because apparently he's in love with a manga character. Most surprisingly of all, it's working: He had over nearly 700,000 Signatures at the time I read the book the story was in.

Of course, the book was published in 2010, so for all I know, it could very well have been submitted since then. And if it succeeds, I shall probably be scared of Japan forever. Manga love is getting a bit too creepy, even for me.

So it was an interestingly, painful day?

Fuck yes.

Short story: I jumped out of a car.

Long story: My friend came over to get some MTG cards he left here last time we played. I walked out to give them to him, 2 of my other friends were in the back and friend's GF was driving. They pulled me into the car, without shoes on, and declared they were kidnapping me. Drove down a street. Temp: "Can I go home now?" Friends: "No! We're taking you to the party with us!" I'm a busy man, I've got things to do. After a couple turns, and me asking like 6 times to be brought home, we approach a stopsign. I thought this would be a good opportunity to get out. Little did I know, friend's GF didn't plan on fully stopping at this sign.

Temp: "Peace out, guys."

Dumbass me steps from car, barefoot and in shorts, and hits the ground. That was the easy part. I tumbled over my right side (because behind driver) 1.5 times before stopping. Friends stop, help me up, find my glasses, and bring me back home.

THEN, I walk inside. Temp's Dad: "What happened?" Temp: "I jumped out of the car." Parents freak a bit, ask me where I was hurt, I look at my hand to show my dad, vision wobbles, pass da fuck out. I hit my head during the tumble out of the car. And again passing out, according to my dad.

Wake up on the floor, dad's looking in my face. Mom's freaking out, saying call 911. I answer all the standard concussion questions (because I'm a fucking genius), get some antiseptic cream, and sit on my ass for most of the day.

Results:
My back looks like someone let a cat scratch all up and down it, my shoulders being the only parts that bled.
Elbows barely grazed, surprisingly. Left forearm is skinned.
Right hand took some stones, awkward teeth brushing and phone holding.
Right knee scuffed pretty bad.
Right shin scuffed less.
Left foot and heel bruised.
Don't forget the 2 minor head injuries!

1/10 Do not recommend.
And Pacific Rim is pretty bad. :meh:

Hey, any kidnapping you can walk away from is a good one. Besides, its the stupid things we do that make the best stories.

And yeah. But its better than Battleship and Jurassic World, so +3.5 for being best of the worst i've seen.
