You're writing in a newspaper. You get to be the judge, pick the character, and rate them on the Rebel Scale of Characterization.

Huge paper, everyone can TG you the articles or something.

Thanks.
As for this thread, it'll be just the discussion/commenting thread, where people either TG their articles or post them. I'll make another one where I put everything together.

Sounds good, yeah, it is an opinion piece. I will have to do some thread searching and a lot of reading to get some varied characters. As much I would like to spam it with my characters, I wont.

I could be the sole judge, but that hardly seems fair. Perhaps have people TG me their votes on who I should write about?

(On my phone, hard to edit)

What I mean to say it, this article is what you make it. It's not fact, it's your opinion. So probably should choose the character yourself, to avoid any outside influences. Just choose whoever you like the most, and try to not pick the same RP every time.

Thanks for the advice. Do you think I should just do current characters or past ones too?

Current. Past characters maybe once in a while, but make sure they're well-kknown/exceptionally developed. Or a gag.

So, remember this? Yep, doing as promised, one of these should come out ~2 weeks. Reviewing some interesting RPs, and working as a directory to some. Anyway, let's get started.

Hello everyone! We're nearing quite an active RP season, the summer, from my understanding. If you want to launch an RP, this may be an optimal time. On to RPs. What I've seen a lot of are Game of Thrones RPs popping up, probably as GoT's latest season is coming out soon.

Let's see, there's Ice and Fire: A New Era, by Arana, though it's still an interest thread. There's also a new IC for Toronina's Game of Thrones RP, along with Ubilia's GoT: Tragedy of Ashford RP, Nuxipal's GoT: Dynasty RP, of the Quendi's In an Age of Dragons RP and finally, Alotopia's region RP, A World of Ice and Fire.

Now that is a lot! It's good to be a Game of Thrones fan on P2TM apparently.

Moving on. If you didn't know, the RP that never truly dies is back once more, with Infinite Justice: Beyond! Another superhero esque RP is BlackDeath27's Pandora's Requiem. And there's also Asterdan's Fall of the Portal, the ultimate multiversal RP where you RP as yourself entering the Portal to the Multiverse.

As for police/military RPs there's Cylarn's Use of Force, The Athena Program by Vancon and Orbital Police Corps- Unlimited by Brechalht.

We've also had a few god RPs pop up, like Atria's Ethereal Notions, Aurinisula's Theomancy and Bentus' A New Creation.

There's also Altito Asmoro's Magical Age of Piracy, a piratesxmagic RP.

In other news, the end of Elfen High has begun, the epilogue beginning with a fantastic post by Khan, found here, Personification Life, Elementals and Children of Infinity are still chugging along as ever.

Well, that's all I've got. If you've got any suggestions of things to add to this, or you want one of your RPs added to the list, TG me or post here. And no, I'm not making a list.

Until next time, farewell.

New Jordslag wrote:No, Ever Grande City would be the first place to be conquered by the Villains, who would then divide it amongst themselves.

Instead, Dewford should belong to the Rangers, partly because it is hard to get to, and partly because the strong independent character of the town would make them resist any attempted Villain takeover. Kinda like the Battle of Britain, only the British are armed with pebbles instead of Planes. In other words, Dewford is owned by the Rangers but in a precarious position.

The Rangers, meanwhile, should be named the Resistance, because the Ranger Union was destroyed, and because there are also Pokémon Trainers armed with stolen Villain Pokeballs fighting alongside them.

Alright, what about Pacifidlog? Small, out of the way, unimportant, and loves nature. Seems just right for Rangers.

I thought it was that, since Hoenn doesn't have a Ranger Base anywhere, it wouldn't matter if the Rangers were still part of the Union or if it were gone. Also, we return to the issue of if we can steal villain Pokeballs, then what's the point of being a Ranger? Because then you could take the stolen ball, release the Pokemon, then use it to catch any Pokemon, thereby negating the basis of Rangers vs Teams.

And: Ever Grande would have the Pokejammer then? Seems like an alright place, either there or Sootopolis.

Thing is, Pokeballs can fail to catch things. And when they do, they don't come back to you. So we could save the problem of them catching Pokemon repeatedly by both making Villain Pokeball Stores difficult to steal from in the first place, and using a Random Number Generator to determine a Pokeball's chance of Success. But anyways, We should allow Players to be more than just a villain with Pokeballs or a Ranger, quite simply because some people want to be good guys, but they want to be good guys wielding Pokeballs. I suppose we could cut that feature out, though, if you really don't like it.

Moving on to the Ranger Union. It is important that we don't have it united in this game for the simple reason that it is the Ranger Union. When the Rangerrs are trained, supplied, and equipped well, they are an unstoppable force. Not even 5 Villain Teams can stop them. As. Have said before, 2 Elite Rangers could very well take down an entire team. Now imagine that, to respond to the present crisis, the Ranger Union deploys all of it's many, many Rangers. Do you see the problem with having a functional Ranger Union?

I think that Hoenn does have a Ranger Base, but we just don't see it in the games. Rangers are everywhere. Sort of like a benevolent Thought Police.

And yeah. Pokejammer in the former Pokemon League building would be great. Speaking of the Pokemon League, what should Steven's role be in our game? He would obviously be opposed to the teams, but since he isn't a ranger, he wouldn't be able to do much. So would he join the Resistance as a person working behind the lines, or just become a regular civilian?

Our game still has a lot of work, but it has gone through a lot of progress, too.
My favorite games are the Pokemon Games. Shoot me a TG if you want to talk about them.

Now THAT I could get behind.
