It's magical piracy RP, and we have mermaid, so a wolf girl is fine.

We don't have any wolf girls. But animal human hybrids are completely and totally a thing.

Well I didn't join that cause I don't like the Comic book universes or the newer DBZ's. So I feel like I'd be rather out of place and more of a nuisance.

Oh, I'm sorry, for some reason I thought you were a lot newer, but you've been a member since mid-March, so you're fine.
However I did notice that you never filled out an application. Fortunately, this is completely optional.1. In the event of aliens, which fruit would serve you best?
2. In the dreamscape, can people hear you scream?
3. Is the constitution actually a shoot-the-shaggy-dog story?
4. What do penguins do in a race?
5. What kind of name is rainbow?
7. Do you have the touch, did you get the power?
8. If I shot a leprechaun with my gun, do you think it would spill out lucky charms?
9. Where's Waldo?
10. Did you notice how there wasn't a sixth question?

Concept: The role play will follow the adventures of a group of misfit's known as Grey Company. A hint at the massively ambiguous morals this Company commits for their own self-interests. They are con artists, but not petty thieves; mercenaries, but without a cause unless their is money backing it; and Bastards drawn together in the hopes of furthering their lives in a harsh world modeled after late Medieval Europe and the Mediterranean. The concept of this role play is that the characters are NOT hero's; they are not glorious Princes or valiant knights of purity; rather, they are Chaotic Neutral archetypes. The human characters that stories tend to gloss over in favor of larger than life saviors or villains.
Genre(s):Fantasy, Crime
Type (Character/Faction/Nation): This is a character role play first and foremost. The key faction is the Grey Company, the gaggle of societies detritus seemingly caste to the side.
Detailed Description:
In the year 1485 an orphans, beggars, vagabonds, thief's, or criminals life was often short and miserable. Whether dying of starvation, horrendous squalor, or the hang mans noose no one gave a rats ass. The nobility in their lavish estates held the real power in the world, and the common folk went about their business.
Meanwhile the underworld of the Archduchy of Virona is ruled with an iron fist by Don Kortez, who collects a 'tax' from all the Right people in the Archduchy. Those who evade the tax tend to be ruthlessly hunted down and disappear. All of this is backed by the Archduke in the Silent Peace. In exchange for not targeting Don Kortez the criminal underworld would not threaten the power of the nobility. Government officials, nobles, and their associates were considered 'off-limits.'
That is until a few years ago when the Thorn of Virona appeared. Whispers among the nobility abounded on a criminal that seemed to be cheating large sums of money out of their peers. No one knows who, but in reality it was the Grey Company and their leader, the eponymous Thorn. On the outside they seem just like another gang of mercenaries that pay their 'taxes' to the Don and obey the Silent Peace. Secretly they engage in robbing the rich (usually) in elaborate confidence games.
As you can see this does draw inspirations from Medieval Venice, Early Renaissance, various organized crime organizations, and from a series of novels by Scott Lynch.
