Hmm, I don't think Harry Potter vampires have red eyes.

I looked it up, yes and really sharp teeth. As far as I know both them and werewolves share the characteristic of all their teeth being sharp and having red eyes. Still trying to get proof of that, but I know Vampires have that and it seems like Lupin had red eyes after he turned into the wolf man.
Scratch that, Vampires have black eyes apparently. Thanks Rowling, you have officially confused the f*** out of me...

Wiki says black eyes, but I am seeing a lot of yellow. Maybe eye color varies. New hypothesis:
Eye color might relate to mental state-
Black for those who have killed many, many people in lust for blood
Yellow for those who have not killed anyone for blood
Red for those who have not killed anything for blood

Far fetched and way out there hypothesis, but so far I am seeing vampires with yellow eyes, wiki says black, but I know in the book Snape mentioned red. Trying to refine the different traces, praying for some sort of answer XD So much information with not so many accurate sources!

I was trying to come up with something for Agatha's brother to say that was some stupid joke, and that popped into my head...I have no idea why.

Yeah, the PM was an exception because he was somewhat critical to inform if anything bad was happening in the Wizarding world that would affect the Muggle world, like Voldemort. Besides, if the PM told anyone, he'd be deemed a mad man.

Still, bit like the pot calling the kettle black. Who's to say the Prime Minister or his staff don't just decide to reveal to the entire world the existence of the Wizarding World? The Minister of Magic does not know that >.< stupid bureaucrats!

Yeah, unless he had proof. There would definitely be some pretty easy ways for someone to do that too, especially in the age of smart phones.

Yeah, still seems a bit odd... and I have still always wondered, what bad would come of people actually knowing magic existed? Not like the witch hunts would happen again, and that was all political anyway.

Yeah, unless he had proof. There would definitely be some pretty easy ways for someone to do that too, especially in the age of smart phones.

Meh. People would call it special effects at best. The British PM proclaiming magic to be real wouldn't do much good, just look at all the charms to hide things, the memory spells, etc. Perhaps a few people would believe, but they may have already believed to begin with.

yeah, but I think after awhile the giant elaborate quilt that is the concealment of magic would be unraveled.
"Hey, there were actually no elephants at the zoo that day were there? So were did that random giant one come from?" One missed detail and the stitching just unrolls. Surely details have been missed before with their whole concealment thing, they probably do something close to the MIB method.

That post was a reference to Primeval, a show about dinosaurs coming through anomolies from the past and bringing them into the modern world. Other than the main characters in the story, who are a part of the "Dinosaur team", everybody else seems to be freaking oblivious to what is going on, even when it involves stuff going on in COMPLETELY PUBLIC SPACES. It's like, I think SOMEONE would eventually get suspicious...I mean, there are some people that do, but you know...on a more widespread level.

There's plenty of conspiracy nuts out there, I think magic would probably fall into that realm myself. Besides, with the number of fairy tales people are told, there's already a level of childishness to the notion of magic. The muggle world also has far bigger things to worry about than magic as well. My two cents on it anyway.
