It was quite large. They were just smart enough to put Indian Soldiers under British Officers, which is exactly what you should be doing in Africa and Assyria.

I never said small, compact

Italy should have a standing force of 50-100k

WW1 was a conscription, draft army so 100k standing thats elite is pretty good.

We have no plans to backstab the CSA or take their land (OOC promise, so you know I'm legit). Similarly, the Pacific is too far away, and Colombia is wrong culture, semi-wrong religion, wrong politics, wrong....everything, really, for us to control easily.

No worries on us gaining land in Norteamericano or however you say that.

I have a peace treaty with the CSA for ten years.

If the Sacramento Pact wins, it shifts power from the East Coast to the West Coast, and to three very socialist nations and my government is most certainly not about that. It upsets the balance of power we already enjoy in North America and of course disrupts the economy, both long term and short term.

I also do not share a border with the CSA anymore, they were forced to release Maryland as a sovereign nation and as a result we have a buffer between us, so war with one another is a lot harder than it was before. Plus, we have a ten year treaty with Maryland to not kill that either.

Also, I don't really care to piss of Chicago, and I already know invading the CSA would. Chicago and NeSA get along because well we kinda have to. We just kinda let the other do what they want and we are perfectly fine. I don't really want to upset the only threat to my nation.

Chicago and CSA more or less had it dived up. Then (NPC) CSA withdrew troops(to send to Chile), which resulted in a State Rebellion supported by Chicago. Currently in a Civilish War
