Exactly! I assume, of course, that you would accept the French help, but that's up to you, of course. If the CSA declines, France will sit out the war.

I'll take all the help I can get.

Fantastic!

If you could toss in a quick snippet -- "urgently implored for outside aid" or a letter if you want -- I can get a post up right after yours detailing the French movement.

We would have already mobilized once we learned of Mexico's war; CSA's request gives us the will to go through with our declaration (on all three members; rather than just Mexico originally).

Chicago is indeed a creditor nation.
We tend to offer lax loans on almost all orders and don't really strive to collect interest. Like, we will get paid back, but we tend to think in decades not years. So there are lots of outstanding debts owed by Japan, CSA, NeSA, Columbia, Turkey/France, Pacific, etc, but take your time.

Also, since I get drowned in these requests I am making a declaration.

All domestic trade between Chicago and any other nation(unless expressly denied) is presumed to be going on. If you want Chicago Mining to build you a mine, presume a yes. If you want Fjord Automotive to make you cars, presume yes.

Military trade for rifles, artillery, and machine guns are also presumed yes for moderate amounts if you already purchased or are in good standing. TG me if you want to make a large order an Ill approve it.

Large scale orders and naval contracts are to be done normally.

What this means is the if Nation A wants 1,000 C-1 Rifles, they merely have to say they bought said rifles in an IC post, without placing the order.

Why would france mobilize for mexico? Mexico just got beat by Pacific and Colombia and posed no threat and its leader got owned.

All of the rebels pretty much flocked to California and the instability went away for abit and now they re mobilized under secret and you wouldn't know until they hit

That was mainly a joke, calm thyself.

And no, I planned on switching to NeSA before the Sacramento Pact even existed. I had been inquiring about NeSA for a while and wanted to gather enough information and understanding before I considered applying for it. Originally I wasn't even going to help the CSA anyway, because they didn't need help. I was just going to invade the Pacific over the provinces they have that border me directly. When the Sacramento Pact came to be, I saw I had cover for the invasion.

It's a long story, but France was actually supposed to invade Mexico back when their emperor got killed in Greece.

Unfortunately, EA and I were....unable to discuss how the war should proceed OOC.... and thus, I kinda stopped. War with Mexico was always meant to happen; lack of discussion is what postponed it, not any IC action.

Mexico's attack on the CSA just reaffirms our resolve and whatnot.

I'm just going to post some more preparation posts so when the time comes to invade (after the CSA and Mexico both post) I will be ready. Everything is still secret at the moment as it is far enough away from your border you wouldn't notice it.
