Well, you can't really "move his birthplace". You can, however, create an equivalent of him.

You would have to ask the administrators, to be honest.

Well I mean that. Like it would be the same man who accomplished the same things, but was just born in a different place with a different name, if that makes sense.

There would be two. One from Chicago (I believe there is one there) and yours.

You could, though. While we have NeSA, it's hard to say if the same immigration which happened to the USA IOTL would also occur. Should it have occurred, it's entirely possible the ancestors of Ford, Edison etc. immigrated to NeSA ITTL, allowing them to be born there.

Seriously, though, the Americas pretty much made alternate history a massive cluster fuck xD

I guess that would make sense, as multi-national companies are really just beginning. Every country could really have its own Rockefeller, or its own Edison, or its own Ford.

True, this geopolitical division in what would be the United States will surely change a lot of things. One of them, to be sure, is that these states won't be able to have as much power as the United States at that time.

Immigration started from Europe really in 1885, and is still continuing. I set it up that way to get some more ethnicities into the super pro-market and pro-equality and civil liberties country. I mean logically you'd expect people would want to move there. It isn't per say the American dream, but rather the Northeaster Dream. Like the American dream, but with little hints of French and gay.

True. But as what finance is concerned (more in Rockerfeller's case), none of them will be as rich as their counterparts in real life.

Mhm. This is one of the reasons why, in my opinion, the One Day War is confusing. If NeSA was replaced by the IRL USA, I have no doubt it could have obliterated New Netherland. However, with so many divergences from OTL it's hard to tell how powerful NeSA would be. Anyway.

But that still wouldn't have the same attractiveness as the American dream. The USA was, for most of it's existence anyway, an isolationist nation with no real rivals in the Americas (especially after the Mexican-American Wars). Such a nation was appealing to Europeans, whom were tired of the constant war and chaos. ITTL, though, that isn't the case. There are several states in NA, whom constantly work against each other. Very similar to Europe, in fact.

Very true, it would be difficult. Though, in my opinion, if we are looking for the most power state among the American states, I would say Chicago is the strongest.

To formally establish:

NeSA's Theodore Roosevelt is from the Federal State of Haudenosaunee (basically what I own of New York), which is culturally a hybrid of predominately Natives and Dutch settlers.

Same personality and ideology as Teddy R, but instead of the Rough Riders and the military in general my Teddy R went into law and become a rather good prosecutor in Haudenosaunee and climbed the ladder into the Progressive Party and got Attorney General.

Especially with it's economic influence. The fact that it is (I would assume anyway) is a debtor nation allows it to threaten the withdrawal of loans etc.

Chicago has unlimited access to the St. Lawrence River, so they are land locked but they do have that.

Good point. At the same time, if NeSA do not let Chicagoan trade to pass through as their deal states so, there could be an invasion.

If its deemed war materials we seize it and pay you off,

The war measures act is based on the Canadian war measures act, actually it is it, pound for pound.

Then you are going to have to deal with the Robber Barons, as it is their products you are seizing. I am sure you will enjoy them. They are all such kind and noble men.

Yes but you could shut it down or if we are doing like ww2, a massive uboat fleet could sit outside the bay and just wreck it.

Well, if they send anyone to deal with it, the pacific could arrest and intern them until the war is over.
