He was pushed back. A similar battle to Waterloo occurred (albeit, in 1809? or something rather than 1815), however Napoleon was the victor. Basically, he get's pushed back by the HRE but the war isn't really a decisive victory for either side, but it also is. For France, their Egalitarian society was able to survive, and Boney was able to lead them. For the HRE, they managed not only to unify but to push back Boney to France.
I mean, I had originally planned for Boney's German lands to be lost in a Great War in like 1900 or whatever, but you forced me to reconsider that part of my history.
