Reservations ruin all the things, especially if the are made in threads other than the OOC/Signup thread. So like let's all calm thyselves because at the moment, this RP is still alive.

This assumes a Reboot, which may or may not happen. It's just to get a jist of your opinions on multiple issues that we need to answer to have a meaningful discussion for the future of the RP.

Usually what I do is put a 24hr reservation after the OOC starts, or if I do not allow them. I will allow people to express interest in a nation and let multiple people app and then accept the best one.

No I agree. Or when you have a really creative idea for a country and someone claims the land and does the typical cut and dry not creative at all nation.

So I say we go for a 24 hr app, with possible exceptions for people like Allen who happen to y'know live in Australia.

That all depends on the nations in Europe, though.

If there is a united Germany, WWI makes a hella lot of sense, otherwise... it's hard to tell.

I mean most of the Dutch Golden Age was way before the Napoleonic Wars, but whatever. Where one power doesn't rise, another does. Perhaps Denmark took the Netherlands' place? Perhaps the newly-independent Greece did? Perhaps Portugal became a power again? Taking the Dutch off the table actually increases the amount of possibilities.
