Its an extremely old religion. The importance of the gods goes from bottom to top. (Confusing, but whatever) It also so happens that these correspond to various "classes" in society, with the bottom being less prestigious. (Not all of them correspond to a class in society, however.) Seas/trade are one class, Justice, War, (Sometimes associated with justice) Life, Death, Growing.

Arthwald: The Prophet (Nabi) - The first priest in Jayanesia. Known to travel throughout southern and central Jayanesia. (He is only thought to have entered present-day Jayanesia to see the Emporer at the time.)

God of Growing (Tumwa) - Responsible for good harvests, storms and livestock. However starvation from crop loss is associated with Dewakhima.
God of Life (Hidhan) - Considered a Doctor among the gods, responsible for healing and bringing new life into Eordae.
God of Death (Dewakhima) - Anything related to death of severe misfortune
God of War (Peranga) - Obvious what this one is about. Decides the outcome of battles based on each sides worthiness to the gods. (The military is the last class in society that is nearly 85 percent religious)
God of Justice (Keedhan) - In the old days a priest would communicate to the gods and decide if the accused were guilty. Also responsible for things like karma.
God of Trade (Perdahan) - Decided fortunes on selling items. It was thought that if prices were bad in a certain country or city, the country or city was extremely "unholy"
God of The Seas (Dewlaut) - If your ship sinks, you know who to blame. You also know who got you across the ocean.. (The only God to replace the god of war, thought to have decided naval battles)

Also, if you are in the northern part of Jayanesia (land mass) expect to have bad relations. Anywhere else is fine though

@Whiteshore, Jayanesia in my history was only conquered around 950 AE, and liberated in 1652 AE. Zhouran presence was only really strong towards the beginning, and the Jayanesian Empire itself still existed cornered in a small northern area. I imagine some of the population speak your language, but the vast majority don't
