Robert's hammer wasn't Valyrian steel.

I presume I am in possession of it, seeing as Tommen had it.

Either that, or well in his nineties or something like that. Open to interpretation.

I will take blackwood...

EDIT: That is also not very many banners... maybe half of the houses sworn to Riverrun

Well there are others, but they don't all have castles. I just included the more important ones.

Oh snap, Stark-Baratheon alliance, as well as the Stark-Hardyng and Stark-Lannister alliance... Rickon could create a large force should he accept
Your political compass:
Economic Left/Right: 2.62
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 3.18

Go Dorne! Martells 4 lyf!

Pros: traditional Catholicism, Pro-life, border security, Vatican City, cute babies, Papal States, conservatism, 2nd Amendment
Cons: abortion, atheism, Protestantism, Islam, Scientology, illegal immigration/amnesty, sin, Communism, liberals, gun control

He should accept. Then have the entire alliance bloc sit out the war and feast and hold tourneys and stuff.

:D Ah the Starks are Powerful :p
Anyways there are two things an honorable Stark would do
Support Crassius/Targ (Unfortunatley Rickon does not know of the set up the Tyrells did against them)
Support Steffon (Baratheons hold the Claim after Crassius, since we know not of the Bloodfyres....actually Baratheons should still have a stronger claim than them since we don't know they are legitimised)

No, you should support the Lannisters (since unlike the other two, we actually sat our asses on the World's Most Uncomfortable Chair before this).

I fail to understand why so many people would believe the Crassius/Bloodfyre claim. I mean, do they have any documentation that couldn't have been forged? Did Daenerys publicize their descent? Perhaps that would have been the wiser move.

There are papers proving the Bloodfyre claim should we press it. And not just the scroll that was presented to Crassius. Lets just say that the timing of the Queen's death was almost too perfect to try and prevent the possible inheritance of the Iron Throne by Ixidor.

Cackling? As in, the laughing fit demonstrated when amusement is derived, usually at the suffering of others? I should hope I am misunderstanding this comment.

Whether or not those papers are true is irrelevant. It is whether people believe those papers that matters, and, if we are being honest, I do not think people will be too keen on believing the bastard descendant of Euron Greyjoy is here to claim the Iron Throne after having lived half-way across the world all their lives.

Laughing in the sense of someone amused with how the world is going, as if it is going to plan. Cackling was perhaps a poor choice of words.

Which is why he didn't initially come to claim the throne. He came to buy himself lands and a title worthy of his birth. Unfortunately.. the coup happened the same day he arrived in Westeros. He spent all of 3 days in Westeros before going back to Essos. I have a plan laid out for him. If things get messed up enough he may even try to claim the throne. Or maybe claim the Iron Isles.. or go back to the initial plan of buying a title and lands if the war ends before he returns. Who would say no to having a Dragonrider helping enforce the peace they just won?

Indeed, I was going to say. :lol2: It seems the Baratheons and the Lannisters are taking up the method of waiting.

A tactically successful move. Of course, tactical caution could only pull him so far up the social ladder.

From the perspective of all of tradition Westeros: "tactical caution and 50 years of forged paper work can pull him up a good bit further."
