House Name: Baratheon (As it seemed you guys Needed them)

Sigil: (pictures would be helpful) Image

Head of House: Lord Paramount Steffon Baratheon II, aged 13, Near to his coming of age, The son of Shireen Baratheon, and the Grandson of Stannis Baratheon, He is kind and rather pleasant, and enjoys reading. He is Popular among the smallfolk, as he is the first Baratheon in two generations to bring peace. Lord Steffon is Athletic, and maintains a respectable figure, on the insistence of his mother. He has brown eyes and Black hair, as all true Baratheons. (Out of character spit at Joffry's corpse)

Relevant House Members: Lady Shireen Baratheon, Mother of the Lord Paramount, Who was removed from Succesion and is hidden from the public eye to this day, as she remains Disfigured by Greyscale, and is dieing as it spreads. Lord Serrus Baratheon, 6 year old brother of the lord Paramount. The Baratheons all posses dark Black hair, and Pale skin. The bastards of Robert Baratheon are not acknowledged, Asides Edric storm, Who was made a Ser, in exchange for renouncing all claims to the Stormlands, he is acting as a Tutor in swordplay to lord Steffon.

House Seat: Storms End

House's Faith: He follows the Religion of his grandfather, R'hllor

Military Forces: A personal levy of 10,000 men, and Levy from vassals of 40,000 men. And a fleet of 70 Galleys, and 10 Carracks.

Sworn Houses: House Errol, House Estermont , House Grandison, House Musgood, House Peasbury, House Tarth,

Events within the House in the 50 years between the OP history and the RP: Lord Stannis set out on a pilgrimage to the Grand temple of R'hllor in the freehold of Volantis, and in a tragic turn of events, he was murdered on the Journey, as he had chosen to undertake it on his own, exposed to the elements of the great other and R'hllor. His death was greatly mourned by her Ladyship Shireen, Especially as she was bundled into hiding by the increasingly sickly, insane, and paranoid Selyse baratheon, Until Selyse's murder by men loyal to Stannis and to Shireen, Led by Jonos Eroll, who was Married to lady Shireen, matrilineally shortly afterwards. Shireen was reviled as lady paramount, due to her Greyscale, for the first few years. During which time she Gave birth to Steffon, and later, as her rule was accepted, She gave birth to Serrus. as Steffon same of age,Shireen and Jonos came to despise each other for reasons unknown to the populace, and to torment Jonos yet more, Shireen abdicated, removing any semblance of power from him, and giving Steffon power over the Stormlands.
RP Example:
Lord Steffon sits upon his throne in storms end, smiling to the congregation of nobles clustered around him, he nods to an adviser stood by him, and he silences the room, Steffon stands, and says in his very practiced tone '' I thank you all for congregating here, and I hope to see you all tomorrow for my Nameday Feast, and as celebration of my Nameday, I have issued a cut in taxes by five percent, for the remainder of this month''
A cheer goes up across the room, as the nobles smile rightly to the lord paramount, and Steffon's advisers crowd around the lord paramount, and announce that he shall retire for the evening.

My apologies, but the last RP I participated in on Nationstates was well over a year ago, and I think finding the thread would take an incredibly long time.
Notes:
Steffon will turn 14, and thus come of age, in 3 months time.

Denied, since there are a few inconsistencies going on with the app.

A). Who was Shireen wed to?
B). The Greyscale wouldn't continue to spread and kill her.
C). If Stannis died during the Long Night, he'd be younger than 72. Also, I implied that he did survive it.
D). Stannis relied on Melisandre, but I doubt he would have killed himself over her.
E). I'd prefer it if I had some links to other RPs you've participated in inside the "example" section.
F). Stannis never really seemed to be shy about Shireen.

You're free to edit as needed and try again.

Thanks.

Okay, at some point we just need to just move beyond communications gaps, because if Volantis finds out the queen is dead two weeks or three months after she dies, there is literally zero point in me participating in this RP, since we've barely gotten three days in. Let's just say most of the world has found out within... ten days, or twelve, say, since as powerful people find out they send birds to their friends and family elsewhere because the information is important. Because otherwise, not a whole lot of point in Volantis.

One Asha chapter in ADWD lasted over a month. If you just need time to pass, it's not too hard to just let it. You might miss a few important events, but, that's the bad part about playing Essos. It took Dany a little under a year to learn that Robert died.

However, ten-fourteen days is reasonable for Volantis.

Done! However, one player has been controlling them as their bannerman, so I'd advise discussing it with Givious first.

The first ones could probably arrive in a month or so. Hell, if you remember, Tywin managed to hire the Brave Companions, a mercenary company based around Qohor, during the events of Game of Thrones in order to ransack the Riverlands in response of Tyrion's imprisonment. They seemed to arrive only a short time after.

I still don't think a raven would travel over water; and that the free cities don't use ravens. they would have to go by boat, which means a boat would have to go by dragonstone, which we have a blockade by. Braavos I can see a week or so for travel; the other free cities? You have to travel the stretch of Westeros before traveling to the cities; unless you ride through the stormlands and make sea from shipbreaker bay (By the name, I don't suggest it)

Could we possibly have a time skip of a few days to a month? I feel like nothing is happening at all, and some of the main people haven't even gotten past the first day.

I'm fine with time skips that branch out a month at the maximum. By all means, go ahead. Just make sure you don't do anything too big.
