Garlan sent the letter at day zero. If I recall, Aegon sent his at day two.

There is a Letter being sent to Lord Rickard to join the cause of Crassius

Rickard has marched on day three for Sea Dragon Point to confront what he presumes is a band of brigands raiding some villages,

Eddard is Attempting to Enter Kings Landing

Brandon is stuck in Kings Landing conflicted on what he should do considering doing something much more brash than he would like.

Is this all correct

And Garlan Tyrell has sent you a letter to declare for the Tyrell cause. Also, it will arrive before the Crassius letter.

But failed. In Vardis's eyes, Garlan won, pointing To him being prepared and managing the times.

Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes!!!!!!!!

Although I suppose I'm biased, seeing as Dany is my favorite character in the books and the show.

Edit: also, I'm planning to be etching out a huge dramatic tragedy in Volantis over the course of this RP, the beginnings of which will begin to take shape in my next post.

I cannot find a letter addressed to the Starks in your Post, I was skimming through looking for the word Stark in particular, but could you relieve me and show where it is on the IC?

"I want you to write for me," Garlan replied, tapping his dripping finger on the side of the bath. "To the lords of the Crownlands, I, Garlan Tyrell, King of the Andals . . ." He gestured with his hand. "You know what to write. Tell the Crownland lords, tell the Lords Paramount, that I hereby summon them to the capital to swear themselves to me, as I am king by right of justice. I stopped House Crassius from taking the crown after they murdered the queen. Write to them all, save Lord Hardyng-Stark. His House I will write to personally. Mention Lord Stokeworth shall be duly rewarded.

Yes, but wouldn't Garlan's letter either have to fight its way out of the city during the ongoing coup, or risk be shot down by Targaryen archers and crossbowmen if it was dispatched by raven from the Red Keep?

Edit: also, I rushed the conclusion of my next post so it wouldn't be a Wall of text (see what I did there? Like the Wall? Get it? Get it? Yeah, you get it.). I'll probably make another one soon, largely focused on the rushed construction of troop transports, sale of saffron, making of wildfire, and various envoys all over the world.

I saw it, but I'm not sure I like that idea so much. Don't get me wrong, Daenerys is one of my four favorite characters, but I think that kind of ruins the point of having a war. Plus, it also ruins Aegon's claim to the throne.

Edit: I'm also pretty sure it was a joke.

Not if she has a mysterious ulterior motive for wanting a war, like a chance to go back to Essos and the Dothraki Sea or Meereen because maybe she never truly felt like Westeros was home, or because she wants to weaken lords she feels are a threat to the crown before returning, perhaps with an heir and maybe a husband (is Daario still alive?)...

I'm just saying, it might be cool to do if we make up a reason for her to stay out of the war and let it happen.

Edit: and I know it was a joke, but it also seems like a brilliant idea at least to me.

In case you really wanted Danny to be back, I would suggest using a double as her body instead of actually killing her and reviving her, that is way too risky, and requires somebody who loves her to die in the process (or get really weak). A red priest could actually take a woman or anyone to be hanged, and change his/her looks so that they look just like Daenerys, then have the body placed in her chamber while she is smuggled out of town.

Another option is using some poison that simulates death (there are so many Romeo and Juliet-like vials in so many stories I am sure ASOIAF could eventually have something of the like) and have her body smuggled away (again, replaced with the body of somebody really alike daenerys of shapeshifted), and then let her wake up once more.

But all in all, I am actually against it, at least till the War unfolds fully.

Once Garlan knows, he's going to be very pleased. As in, sending troops to help Denya (I think that's her name) pleased. Rowan is the Lord of the Northern Marches, after all. Garlan entrusts him with 12,500 men.

@Senkaku

Unless Aegon Crassius sent Volantis a letter, the only news that would have reached Volantis (en masse) would have been that Thygar Crassius murdered the queen, not Garlan.

Ixidor sent messages east, mostly for sellswords, but the reason could of trickled to the lords. Wouldn't reach there until between day five and 10... Maybe

oh meh gawd.... Garlan needs to move onto another day LOL If I make another post dealing with Baelor or Aegon it will have to be on about day 5

Also looking over more files. The Crownlands can rally 15-20K troops (includes the 3K Gold Cloaks), but Stokeworth, Duskendale, Rosby and other castles can rally from 10-15K MORE troops... so the 6K for Garlan sounds right (1K original, 5K more).... House Blackwater can then muster close to 7K plus there normal banners which would be probably between 2K and 2.5K.... these leaves 13.5K of the original levies and the 3K of the additional levies; bringing the loyalists forces to 16.5K

EDIT: thats putting the numbers; Normal levies 17,000, additional levies 15,000, Gold Cloaks 3,000 equaling 35,000 troops

EDIT x2: Just to bring a laugh to all of you
