Wait now hold up, is Eddard getting held hostage in the Red Keep now?

Don't be silly, that would shatter every code of conduct that existed. What he is is monitored, closely. Garlan doesn't trust him after his little outburst. And do you think he didn't notice another Stark was just taking a casual stroll to a sword maker of moral ambiguity? :p

two score of ex targ guards, many citizens of flea bottom (short swords, clubs, knives, little to no armor; reach as high as a thousand), members of House Kettleblack and their guard ( now an actual house, manor inside the city, estates outside) which could be around 30-50. And some others...

I would point out that, while your men have been spreading rumors about the people of King's Landing, Garlan has actually been helping them--and has been spreading rumors about your men's cause. So for every citizen that will blindly fight for you, four will blindly fight for Garlan. I wrote as much. ("The crowd cheered. It seemed only a fifth were unwilling to cheer, but Garlan did not mind so much that a fifth would not cheer for him.") From there, it's just basic math.

Also, if were counting House retinues, then I must say I also out number those inside the city. Because I have the retinues of House Tarly, Rowan, Stokeworth (whom has been thoroughly pissed off), and other loyal Reach lords who sent retinues with their sons when Garlan went to King's Landing.

Also--"In two days, the sun would be blotted out, and Garlan would be presented the surrender again. Until then the men continue to build siege equipment, catapults almost done and rams completed. This would be remembered for years to come."

Which one of the dragons are you talking about (if that is indeed what you are talking about)?

1: Yes, I understand this. You have me outnumbered within the city in a face to face conflict.... I'm not so stupid as to think I have you beat there. I am also underestimating that number to sheer fanatics that would take up arms, I am guessing most of the city would rather stay indoors rather than brawl in the streets.

0: This point is obsolete, but thanks for using the points system. :)

1: But city brawls are the best! Just kidding. I concur--most of the city is probably not going to want to fight, just like they didn't want to fight at their last sacking. #LannisterHate. Anyway, I'll phrase it like this: the amount of sheer fanatics I have greatly (4:1) out numbers the amount of sheer fanatics you have. (Once heard that phrase with "illegal narcotics" instead of "sheer fanatics").

2: I am going to assume that means dragons, and I'm sure the people of King's Landing will be obliged that you put out the perspective rape with material fire . . . which cannot be put out immediately. :p

Right, then he had do his best to read the letter written on the package now in the White Tower in possession of the Lord Commander of the KingsGuard,

I hate when that happens, losing the post. And, just saying, Lord Stark is not allowed to go prancing around the Red Keep with sixty men and a direwolf. Garlan would question him, and probably detain him if he didn't agree to keep his men separated.

Lord Jorin's gone to meet up with some people, pick up supplies (cuz the Landing tends to lose food quickly when under siege), and generally try to scope out the situation

Man, I don't even know what day your post was on, so for all I know you are posting as I am arriving at Pentos. Or when I am leaving Volantis. Or hell, maybe you are posting when I am sitting on the Iron Throne with the bones of Garlan, Aegon, and every other contender at my feet? My point is: please add dates to your posts. Otherwise.. its hard to incorporate you into the rest of the RP.

If I also recall, Garlan sent a raven to Storm's End inviting them to court.

Also, not sure if Logistica posted this himself, I'll be taking over the Reach while he's on vacation. In effect from about tomorrow to the 15th.

It seems that the Reach always gets handed off to someone else for a short period of time... on a side note I too am on vacation, however I am pushing my stuff so far ahead that I should be able to keep up with Rhaenys while I am away via phone or tablet.

Tyrells are powerful enough by themselves.

Also, Aegon's going to have Lancel to deal with afterwards.

Well, Garlan has Dorne by the balls, so we have to, at least, outwardly support him. Elia is, more or less, just informing Aegon of the situation and requesting a pardon for any Dornishman forced to fight for him.

The Lannisters are declaring independence, I guess. The Baratheons aren't really getting involved, it seems. The Iron Islands are thus far undeclared, but I hope Keznov can get around to posting soon.

So far...

Garlan:
The Reach
Half of the Riverlands
Dorne (reluctantly)
Aegon:
The Crownlands
The Vale
Half the Riverlands
The North (possibly...eventually)
