Obi Wan Kenobi-Jedi Master-Aboard the 'Invisible Hand'-Battle of Coruscant

Dooku seemed to be easily keeping up with our coordinated attack with him. And my Soresu was not working out as planned and instead forced Anakin to bear the brunt of the Dark Lord's attack. So, I decided to switch styles, and I used a force leap to reposition on Dooku's blind side and unleash an Ataru attack. Makashi, Dooku's favored stance is best against a single opponent. Not multiple enemies. With several powerful and wide blows I tried to pressure Dooku and make him lose his footing. The blue and red clash of blades collided and made a scene as colorful as the blaster bolts in the space battle outside this very ship.

Then, in an effort to end the battle quickly, or force an opening for Anakin, I made a wide and powerful swing at Dooku. With the goal to force his attention on me so Anakin can get the killing blow. Although, I could sense the rising anger and frustration in Ani, and had warned him many times to not allow emotions to cloud his judgement when we faced Dooku again. Not to mention the pull of the dark side to consider. Only with a calm and clear mind can we best this master of the Sith, and so I pushed such thought out of my mind as my blade colloded once more with Dooku's.

Aboard the Invisible Hand

Dooku smiled as Obi Wan did exactly as expected and changed forward in an attempt at an effective. By bringing the offensive to Skywalker he had effectively played off Obi Wan's protective feelings for Anakin when in reality Dooku could little more keep up an offensive against the much younger and more offensively aligned duelist Skywalker then he could have broken through the near impenetrable defense of Obi Wan. But now that Obi Wan had come forward on the offensive he both hampered Skywalker's own offensive and provided relief for Dooku as he could easily keep up with his less advanced skill in Ataru. Not that Obi Wan was a bad Ataru practioner Dooku reflected as he easily blocked a blow from Obi Wan he would even say his skills in the form were advanced but against the much more skilled Dooku who could easily keep pace the offensive amounted to little other then serving to give young Skywalker a brief moment of respite. As Dooku parried the thrusts and cuts of Kenobi's blade and began leading him to the stairs making it impossible to break away he almost contemptuously stretched his hand out to send Skywalker hurtling back with the force before signaling for the B2 Battle Droids to enter the room and begin firing on Skywalker.

On Tython

The doppelgänger on the right also rose and a lightsaber made of darkness appeared lit in his hands while the other doppelgänger remained meditating as the other Jedi had.

Sarak could sense the battle. He worried for his master, wondering if he had been killed by the Jedi. "Greivous, I need to get some battle droids outside. Mind if I use these?" He said unfolding his hand in the direction of the Magnaguards. Then, Sarak felt another pulse. This time, he knew his master would kill the Jedi. Or at least one of them. Although, he still felt that Obi Wan, his former Jedi Master was aboard the ship.

Anakin Skywalker: Bridge of the Invisible hand

As the droids fired, Anakin stepped back, than deflected blaster bolts straight into the droids. A wave of the hand sent 2 more into the wall. Trying to stifle the rage he felt inside, he noticed that Obi-wan was being pushed back. He was using ataru form, the old fool!! Oh well, he thought, can't get any worse.

Anakin leaped at Dooku attacking with powerful strokes. He could feel the anger rising, but didn't even try to stop it. His blade slashed right, left and down, as the blades whined from the contact. Dooku's form was very showy, and he looked a little uncertain, or was he concentrating? Anakin, did not care, merely moving his blade in ever tightening arcs. He hoped to at least grant Obi-wan a respite.

As Skywalker finished off the last of the B2 Battle Droids Dooku had sent in to distract him and made his way toward them Dooku made his move striking out with a flurry of quick and powerful blows that would strain Kenobi's defense before bringing up one hand and creating a ball of pure energy while saber locking Kenobi's blade with the other. As Skywalker jumped Dooku brought down his hand onto his own blade and let loose a concussive blast of energy and force that sent Obi Wan flying back before quickly turning around to face Skywalker who was already bringing his blade down to land a lethal blow. Barely parrying a strike that could have been the end of him Dooku let the blade glance off the side of his blade and channeled it to the side though in doing this he sustained a shallow cut to his left arm that he knew would haunt him later in the fight if he didn't end it soon. Kenobi needed to die as his master had ordered but getting past Skywalker would be the new challenge Dooku reflected as he tried to make his way over to Obi Wan's inert form. The problem was due to the boy's training he was the equal of Dooku in Lightsaber combat and his own form was at a disadvantage against Skywalker's own though he did still hold more reserves of the force to pull upon as the fight went on then the Skywalker brat did.

Serena broke her concentration, though to be honest she barely held it to begin with, as she saw her master act and the dark specter copy his every move, even having a saber of its own. Serena got up, lightsaber in hand but not activated, but instead held her hand out slowly inching towards the being she assumed was her own specter. She kept inching towards the being until she barely touched it, hoping that with a touch she could better sense what this was through the force.

As the Jedi got up and moved toward the dark figure it did the same until they touched and a wave of darkness rolled over the Jedi's mind, body and soul.

A ping of pain went through her, that first attacked her mind then body, but the pain went away and was replaced with anger. She activated her lighsaber and struck at the specter in her unnatural rage putting all of her strength in her swing in attempt to take the life of the one that would cause her such pain. The anger was clearly not a characteristic to often timid padawan.

"I'll be waiting here for the coordinates, captain," said the Ithorian as the last of hover bikes made it off the ramp while also holding out the credit chip he had received from the Mandalorians.

"Thank you, Aarrom," responded Beorhtryth, taking the chip. "Make sure Soya comes with and two others who you think will be fine. We will probably be a while, so help out Morta in any way that you can."

"Of course, captain," said the Ithorian as he entered the ship to get the crew members Beorhtryth needed for his journey. J'Rax awoke to the two suns rising on the lowly Mos Eisley port. He sat then stood on the roof of the cantina, admiring the majesty of the stars. From below he heard the scream of his employer. "J! Start Polishing the glasses!" were the orders barked at him. He ran down the stairs and behind the bar, starting to polish all of the glasses. The hard stains he pointed at, causing an electric charge to burn away at them, making it easier to remove. This was his place in the port. Bartender's assistant, yet he aspires for more.
I thought I could do this again, but I have too much on my plate. I have to actually give up on this. Sorry everyone.

Anakin Skywalker, Bridge of the invisible hand

As his master was pushed away by concussive energy,Anakin snapped. He loved Obi-Wan like a father and him injured, maybe badly was too much.

Blind with rage, Anakin assaulted with incredible ferocity. For the first time, all the darkness inside sprang forth. Yet still a small, chiding voice told him off, and he regained a bit of control. Swinging twice left, than leaping and chopping, he stood directly between Dooku and his master.

Dieau Fehel-Bounty Hunter-Aboard the 'Noble Might'-Battle of Coruscant

The bed I was lying was shaking ferociously due to the battle that was commencing outside the protective shields of the 'Noble Might', catching some sleep seemed to be as useless as this battle. As alarms blared from bow to stern I rose from the bed and sat on the edge of simple metal bed; more ship than bed. I gave a sigh as I wiped my face of my sweat before standing and walking over to the bed stand that had my helmet sitting on top of it. While I picked up the black helmet I stopped and looked at the 'T', emotionless, that's what the helmet turned me into when I was on the job. While I strapped my weaponry I thought of the past but it was easily disrupted by the ship's comms. It was the Admiral Vale, seems he was notifying women named "Sira," about her job on this ship. I didn't have a job yet, I was contracted by the CIS, primarily Admiral Vale, to help them in their efforts in disrupting Republic forces. At first I was skeptical since the last guy to take the CIS got decapitated; not a job a strong fact in the job description. Even though I was weary I took the job, a mando's got to eat, as I strapped my jetpack on I picked up my DC-15A blaster rifle and headed out my door.

I heard my boots click on the metal floor before looking down the corridor that headed to the bridge.

With DC-15A blaster rifle blaster in one hand I raised my wrist link and tuned into the ship's comms and began walking down to the Hangar.

"Admiral Vale, this is your new hire, Dieau Fehel. I believe my assistance is desperately needed on this ship right now. Currently, my course is set on the hangar right now, If you have any objects I suggest you speak them now or forever hold your peace. Whatever tries to get through those doors won't make it out alive."

My low raspy voiced echoed down the hallway along with the clicking of my boots.

The corridor seemed long but with my adrenaline everything so far off but I felt like I could clear it within a matter of seconds. As I made my way to the hangar I watched as droids quickly rush by even a few Neimoidian passed me by before disappearing into the depths of the ship.

Planet Budpock

Balavan stood at attention along with a few others his age before the captain of a small band of pirates. "G'morning ladies and gentlemen," the captain, Jas Til, said, in a drunken stupor. "I guess you'all know why I've called you here today." One of the others, a dark haired human female, tentatively raised her hand. "Did oi give you permission to speak?!" Jas yelled angrily. "I ought to have you thrown overboard for mutiny!" Balavan chuckled to himself. Jas had always been like a father to him, since his biological parents had been killed when he was very young in a raid by a rival pirate gang. Just then, the first mate ran into the room, breathing heavily. "Captain Jas, we have a, uh, situation." he said between breaths.
"What? What is it?" Jas replied gruffly.
"The Torak have found our hideout, they've already kille-" His sentence was stopped short as a shot from a blaster took off the back of his head. His corpse slumped to the floor. Balavan watched, panicked, as the room quickly filled up with Torak, a rival pirate gang. "I aint going down without a fight!" Jas yelled as he struggled to pull his blaster out of it's holster, backing against a nearby wall, but it was too late. The leader of the rival gang rushed up to him and plunged a blade deep into Jas' chest. Jas took one final gasp of air, before life left his body. Balavan's eyes widened with rage. and the force surged around him. Everyone nearby was violently thrown against the walls, meeting their immediate ends and Balavan fell to his knees. He was overwhelmed with emotion, and began to sob violently.

Some time passed before Balavan took back control of his emotions, now was not the time. He must find a way off this planet that had never really been a home. He removed the blade inserted in Jas' chest and placed it carefully upon his lap. A fitting monument to my father, he thought. Balavan stood up and grabbed a nearby blaster before making his way out of the hideout and to a nearby port. Utilizing the skills he had learned as a pirate, he manipulated a merchant into trading off a nearly useless ship for some relatively worthless trinkets. Jas had trained him well enough on how to pilot a ship to get to the next planet over, Tython, a long abandoned planet that was once the homeworld of the jedi order. There, Balavan hoped to find answers about the power he recently found he was in possession of.

Exiting hyperspace, balavan looked upon the lush green planet with curiosity. Freedom, at last, he thought to himself, breathing a sigh of relief. Perhaps there is someone who can help me here. Suddenly the ship started rolling, and the inside lit up with blinking red lights and alarms. Balavan quickly grabbed the controls of the ship and searched for the problem. A nearby scanner showed that one of the rear engines had failed, and the ship was plunging towards Tython. "Just great!" Balavan yelled at himself as the ship screeched and lurched. Balavan pressed all the buttons he could think of, trying to get the engine started again, but it simply wasn't working. He rushed to the back of the old ship, and found the problem. The strain of the jump through hyperspace had caused some wires to become severed. He worked feverishly to repair them as the ship entered the atmosphere of Tython, falling at a break-neck speed. Finally he repaired the last wire and the engine roared to life, but only quick enough to slow them down, not keep them in the air. The ship hit the ground, crushing a large area of forest and ripping up some trees as it slid, Balavan blacked out before his brain had registered what happened.

The Flesh Raiders of Tython jumped as they saw yet another large grey object crash into their forest. Curious they walked over to the big grey box and began to hammer on it in an attempt to break it open yelling and screaming in their strange language as they hammered away at it.

Dooku grew increasingly frustrated at his inability to finish off Obi Wan. Though skilled defense wasn't Skywalker's forte yet Dooku could not make his way over to Obi Wan's form without risking life and limb because if he let his defense slip for a moment Skywalker's relentless offense would break through. Gritting his teeth Dooku thought quickly trying to decipher what his new course of action would be. Normally he would simply wait his opponent out and even with Skywalker's form advantage it would have been a plausible option but the injury to his arm and Obi Wan's presence even inert as it was made that an unavailable option. Dooku frowned to himself before using part of his force reserves to tear off an overhanging wall panel and other loose objects around the room and threw them at Skywalker in an attempt to distract him.

Serena
Temple Ruins
Tython

Serena almost lost her footing as her strike was met with equal force. But it only angered her and she struck again and again, each slash being met with one of equal force causing her assault to be fruitless. But she was too angry to clear her mind and realize the specter was only going to copy every single one of her movements. "Just die," she yelled with one more strike that once again struck away by the dark phantom. She breathed heavily as she stared down her opponent. She noticed her master's hand on her shoulder and her anger quickly turned to an amplified frustration as she deactivated her saber and tears began to fall from her cheeks, "Why won't it just die."

Beorhtryth Vanzar
Undisclosed Location
Mandalore

Beorhtryth waited as the last few members of his crew brought the last crate of supplies offered by Londo Janth and his clan of warrior in exchange for the credit chip that Beorhtryth received from Morta in exchange for weapons. The majority of the crates held different amounts of spice, though none of it was native to Mandalore. Londo's clan was known for preying upon merchants and pirates alike who weren't under the protection of the CIS or the Republic and spice was the most common of their loot. Beorhtryth also was able to secure a small amount beskar iron, one of the strongest metals in the galaxy making it also one of the most valuable. It was made even more valuable with the fact that Mandalore was neutral in the war meaning neither side protected its trade routes causing only smugglers to be able to trade for it like Beorhtryth. The amount he had secured wasn't even enough to make a dagger, but it was still worth enough to get him a new ship if felt like it. However, the biggest prize in the goods he had was a bunch of dossiers and contracts. Many Mandalorians, particularly from Londo's clan wanted to fight and wanted to be mercenaries and Beorhtryth provided them easy ways to find a fair contract. He looked back up to see the final box was on board and he climbed up the ramp as it was ascending and the ship came to life...

...The ship exited hyperspace as it neared Tatooine and began its entrance into orbit. The ship headed for the port of Mos Eisley. In a matter of moments the ship was touching down and both crew and dockworker alike were working to get the shipment meant for Jabba out of the ship. Beorhtryth exited the ship, leaving his second-in-command in charge to see a Bith paying the manager of the specific dock he was in to ensure the crates weren't hampered with or checked. The Bith then turned his attention to Beorhtryth and said, "Beor, finally you're back. I was worried when I heard you got in a fight with that Black Sun Frigate."

"Just had to keep making jumps until we lost them, luckily Jabba provides more for us then the Black Suns do for them," replied Beorhtryth with a hearty chuckle to the Bith. The Bith was named Xal Everton and served as Beorhtryth's representative on desert planet. Xal was usually the one who worked out contract and negotiated prices with Jabba's people save for those Jabba had a special interest which Beorhtryth had to tent to himself. Xal also headed a small settlement deep in the more dangerous parts of the desert, it was tiny, but it was a start for Beorhtryth's "turf". He was sure Jabba knew of the town, but it was both small enough and beorhtyrth was loyal enough that the Hutt probably thought nothing of it.

"Come, I hate to speak in such dry conditions, its good to wet the throat," said the Bith making a clear hint of getting some drinks. The two headed over to the canteen and as they entered a Twi'lek called out for Bith. The Bith turned to the Anthorian and said, "Forgive me, go ahead and get some drinks, I will be right over. This has to deal with your latest shipment."

Beorhtryth headed over to the bar and found what appeared to be a human child. Beorhtryth wasn't sure want to think of it and just said, "Two of whatever's strong, but won't kill me, boy." He referred to the kid as boy due to a combination of not knowing what to refer to him as and also feeling a fair bit superior then most of the people at the bar.

Mhaor
Outside Jedi Temple
Tython

Mhaor stood still outside of the temple, he saw a few of the braver and younger flesh raiders near the temple, but they would return back to the forest running from something whenever they got too close. However, they stopped coming when a light appeared high in the sky that grew more and more until it took the form of a ship and crashed to the ground in the distance. Mhaor heard the rustling of the trees as many of the raiders who were probably still hiding in the woods away from the temple turned their attention to the crashed ship and ran to it.

Mhaor would normally let whoever was in the ship fall prey to the flesh raiders, but he couldn't take the chance. There was the possibility that the ship could have attracted more of the beasts from farther away and inadvertently cause even more to be near the temple, or even worse, whatever was in the ship could have survived and kill the flesh raiders. Mhaor looked back at the temple and assumed Serena and her master would be quite a while before pulling to lightsabers from within a compartment in his body and heading off into the woods.

Mhaor eventually came upon a "clearing", though it wasn't a clearing before the ship crashed. As he entered the clearing the screaming of the raiders was loud as they hammered away at the ship. Mhaor slowly stepped towards the crowd hoping to get the drop on the preoccupied raiders that attempted to open the ship.

J'Rax looked at Beorhtryth with a slight frown. "Most of the rabble that come through here call me J, if you were curious. Obviously you are new here, so it is understood." He said, turning to the spickets to fill 2 glasses. "Now, Strength but no lethality, right?" He said with a thought. "How about a static Gengir?" He said, moving the glasses swiftly between the spickets as to get the right proportions of each drink. He turned with the glasses and put them on the counter with a smile. Before pushing them into Beorhtryth's reach he pointed his index fingers at the forming foam as shorts bursts of electricity went into the glasses, forming a thin layer of flame from the foam. "It will not only put a fire in your belly, but also get some steamy moisture into those dry sinuses." J said with a laugh. "Enjoy."

Beorhtryth Vanzar
Mos Eisley Canteena
Tatooine

Beorhtryth eyed the burning drink suspiciously and said, "That is a neat little trick you have there." He put his hand over the top of the glass to suffocate the fire with his scaly hands, not willing to actually drink any flames before taking a sip of the drink. He had met a jedi before, some knight who was looking for information he had who was also a friend of Jabba's so the meeting was completely friendly. He never seen a jedi use the force, but he was sure they were the only ones capable of such a feat.

His friend came over who picked up the drink and asked, "Is this for me?" Beorhtyrth nodded and the Bith replied, "Wow, fancy drink. This may be a while keep them coming." The Bith took the drink and headed over to the Twi'lek to continue to negotiate.

Beorhtryth turned his attention back to the boy and said, " Your kind usually doesn't stay on Tatooine that long, only other one of you I met worked as hard as he could so he didn't have to stay more then a week, why are you even working here with a trick like that? I am sure you can find someone pay quite a bit more to use that trick."

"I have a better life working here than the moisture farmers, and I get some form of adventure every now and then. I don't have any family alive now, and no means of leaving that are worth the hassle."J said as he made another Static Gengir for the Bith whenever he decided to take it. "Not to mention that I haven't had any offers to further my skills. That is the only reason I will leave now." He said, leaning against the bar.
I thought I could do this again, but I have too much on my plate. I have to actually give up on this. Sorry everyone.

Aran Vale-CIS Vice Admiral-Aboard the 'Noble Might'-Battle of Coruscant
Image
BX Commando Series Droids defending the 'Noble Might' from Republic Clones

The battle was rapidly turning against us. Republic fleet elements have broken almost entirely through the lines of Admiral Voghar. His flagship was destroyed and it is presumed Admiral Voghar is killed in action. My T-Series Tactical Droid went to rapidly explaining the situation. It's metallic voice echoing through the command bridge. "Admiral, 95 Republic Gunships have made it past primary defenses. Estimated 570 Republic soldiers splicing their way into the hull from beneath the shield canopy. Almost half of their initial force. Two Republic Destroyers moving in off the Noble Might's Bow. Vulture squadrons depleted Admiral, survival ratios are less then 70%." The droid concluded the briefing and I positioned myself forward on the command bridge. The boarding parties were a problem, but close to half their company were lost just on approach. Now, on this ship are more than ten thousand droids. But many are engineers, pilots, standard crew, utility and so forth. Only a few thousand were combat worthy, and many of those are B-1s and B2s. Only a relative few are anything of such capabilities like droidekas, magna guards or Commando Droids.

It was then that I received a call over the comm link. This one was from Dieau Fehel, a Mando Bounty Hunter who I hired before the battle.

I gave a slight smile. Typical Mando, so ready to fight he does not even wait for intel on how the enemy has breached the ship. I pressed my comm link and made sure to inform him the Hangers were clear and secure.

"Fehel, the Republic are breaching through the outer hull. I expect them to break through in various locations by splicing through. And will enter separated and possibly disorganized from their losses. I am dispatching my remaining BX Series Commando Droids unto your command. I only have a handful of 82 so use them well, and cooperate with other droid units to defend the ship. You objective is to ensure the integrity of all Vital systems. We are expecting nearly 600 clones to enter the ship. They seem determined to take it out of the fight. Also, I will be placing Sira's protection among one of your duties as well. She has a compliment of Magna Guards and Droidekas around her, so she is in no immediate danger, but she must not come to harm, Sira is currently in the Cargo Hold in the lower decks of the ship. Vice Admiral Vale out."

After closing the line, I thought on the commando droids. The belief droids are inept in combat is easily proven false by the deadly Bx Series. Capable of advanced tactics, for a droid, they are exceptional in long, mid and short range combat. Even being able to engage hand to hand. But, there small numbers due to the Separatist Council expecting us to win this war while keeping the quarterly profits up. Believing we can win though sheer numbers alone.

It was regrettable.

But, as I stood their contemplating it, I took a look out at the two Republic Destroyers attempting to head us off. And they were in the way of our escape. But as capable as my ship is, two Destroyers pose a significant threat. However, I then gave an order to reroute power away from shields and divert it to the Ion Cannons.

"Admiral, weakening shields when faced with such firepower is inadvisable."
"Do it, and then target those destroyers with the Ion Cannons, accelerate the Noble Might and position us in between, those two destroyers."

The order chilled the air, as the dark specter of the Destroyers form grew ever closer. And when we were at point blank range. I gave the order, as the enemy was bashing away at our weakened shields. Quickly depleting it.

"Fire Ion Cannon!" I ordered among the explosions, and then on cue, both ion cannons scored crucial hits on the enemy ships. Disabling them temporarily.

"Now, engage thrusters and move in between those ships." And without questioning orders, the droids obeyed their commands. And now, flanked by two soon to be reactivated mighty warships on the port and starboard sides. However, I waited until the 'Noble Might' was perfectly snug in between the two Republic Warships.

And then the moment came.

"Now, fire everything!

And in a momnet the whole galaxy seemed to light ablaze, as the two inert ships were helpless against the onslaught of the turbo lasers, point defense cannons and near wall of fire erupting from my vessels broadside. The Destroyer on the starboard side succumbed first, quickly falling into a dive as explosions ripped through it's ship. And as soon as the ship on the port side regained capabilities, they attempted to steer away. But were shred to pieces. The ship was destroyed with poryions of it floating into space around Coruscant.

The entire maneuver was risky, as we could have been easily wiped out if they had recovered only moments sooner. But in war, such risks are unavoidable.

But with the way clear in orbit for now, the battle then shifted into the very halls of the Noble Might. That battle however, I could do little but spectate and direct.

Obi Wan Kenobi-Jedi Master-Aboard the 'Invisible Hand'-Battle of Coruscant
It was not long before my mistake was made evident and Dooku was able to mount a determined attack against myself and Anakin. But focusing efforts on me. Dooku's crimson blade scored several hits against my own. The curved hilt sith blade he used, clashing and deflecting my Ataru attacks. But then suddenly a massive force attack thrusted me backwards and into a wall. My head banging against the metallic surface. I slumped onto the floor and into a darkness as I blacked out.

Commander Corinthi
We touched down. My men congregated atop the vessel. As we blasted past RAS Intrepid's sister ships, we were shaken as we were blasted past the RAS Prosecutor and Freedom Star. Still, we had a long haul to our target. The question was whether we cut into the hull now, or advance to the aft sections of the ship, the cut in. It would be faster still to cut into the our target directly, but keeping the room pressurized would be vital. I chose to do both. I ordered 1st and 2nd Companies to blast into the hull of the ship, while the other five companies march toward the bridge directly. The commanders of the CIS ship could see us in our exposed position. I pulled out my DC-15S, and ordered us to fan out atop the vessel. We encompassed most of the ship's forward sections, and by blasting in at multiple points, it would be easier to take the ship. However, it was imperative that we get our reinforcements. I called RAS Intrepid to get the rest of our companies out here...

Dieau Fehel-Bounty Hunter-Aboard the 'Noble Might'-Battle of Coruscant

"I understand the new order, Admiral Vale." I replied, my legs carrying me slightly faster to the nearest, "BX commando unit, I want you to rendezvous with me at the nearest airlock. You will equip yourselves with jetpacks and personal hand-held energy shields." the comms fell silent then a robotic acknowledgement from a single droid replied. The echoing from my boots grew louder and louder as I neared the large airlock that would be holding my counter-boarding strike force. As I checked my gear I could hear the simultaneous marching of the BX commando unit; loud when noncombat but silent when they are. With my DC-15A blaster rifle sitting tightly in both of my hands I motioned for my strike force to enter the airlock and prepare for the assault. I stepped into the airlock and closed the bulkhead doors behind me before activating my suits internal pressurization unit, hissing ensued, when the hissing stopped I looked over to a nearby BX unit and took the small hexagonal personal shield off of it.

"Remaining standard units I want you to exit through the multiple airlocks around the ship and surround the republic troopers." I ordered, as I gripped my DC-15A blaster rifle with my right hand and the shield in the other.

"Sir, what are the following orders after that?" inquired one of the droids

"Eliminate them, eliminate them all." I said, my voice becoming low and dark

A light on my comm link began to blink once the rest of the standard droids had reach their airlock positions. I quickly turned to the BX droid who was standing next to airlock controls and gave him a nod to activate the bulkheads doors of the airlock. The airlock slowly opened and there is was, Coruscant, a planet home to republic scum and the lower level counterparts. I ignited my jet pack and shot out of the airlock with my BX strike unit. With the personal shield in hand I quickly deployed it, the small piece of machinery expanded into 5 x 3 hexagonal shield.

"Get ready for a fight!" I shouted, my unit quickly following behind as we flew from the side airlock to the top of the hull where the republic scum had landed.

As the rest of the standard droids began to enact the surrounding maneuver we began to fire through our personal shields, providing cover for the droids and heavy suppression on the troopers. Though, as I pressed the attack I watched a handful of standard battle droid get blasted away by republic troopers but in turn take damage themselves. I continued to hover in the void of space for a few minutes until I took several blaster hits to my shield, "Shit." I mumbled to myself, as I turned off the shield and attached it to my side as I began firing at the troopers; taking a few down.

"Come on you droids!" I yelled, urging the droids to press harder against the enemy.

Sira - Marr

While she meditated, Sira felt a disturbance. She felt that the ship was being boarded by someone. Likely the Republic, she focused while she meditated to sense another. One fighting along with the droids. She didn't know who he was, but if he was an ally, he was an ally. She began focusing her battle meditation on the boarding clones. Making them more uncoordinated and demoralized, as to aid the droids defending the ship.

Brishkah - Tython

"I don't know, Sira. I'm not sure what it even is." He then raised his lightsaber and struck the other figure's blade. He then wanted to see if he could attack the other shadow figure, as it should not mimic his attacks. He raised his lightsaber and attacked the shadow figure that was mimicking Serena.

Anakin Skywalker, bridge of the invisible hand

Anakin felt his master slip out of the realm of the awake, and didn't care. His rage was such that he didn't notice the objects flying around him. Some though were taken out by particles that Anakin unconsciously took up around him. However one hit him.

Anakin gasped as a piece of control cable lashed his side. He nearly fell, desperately parrying. Than though, he jumped back and grabbed Obi-wans lightsaber before igniting it and attacking, slashing up, down, than bringing the blades in from the left and right simultaneously.

The Neimoidian base was a labyrinth of tiny offices and alcoves, each one filled with disoriented droids and frightened bureaucrats. Songho and Master Koon went through them swiftly, cutting down the former and not bothering with the latter: they would be captured by the incoming clone reinforcements. The two Jedi were aiming only for the leaders. They ran along the hallways and the rooms, followed by their clone troops, scanning every nook and cranny for hypothetical ambushed droids. And they found them, too: as they were nearing a room larger than most, Master Koon gestured for all troops to slow down. In military sign language, he communicated: Fifteen droidekas and fifty regular chickens. We move in at the count of three, in a double hook formation. Songho, take five grenades, we’ll deal with the droidekas.

They closed in on the room silently, blasters raised but lightsabers off. Master Koon did his countdown: at three, five clones threw flash grenades inside the room, then electric grenades, and the others entered in two lines, quickly spreading out around the door to let in those following them. They opened fire on the dazed droids, a fourth of which had already been taken down by the electric grenades.

Koon and Songho, deflecting blaster shots left and right, had charged in first, and made headway for the droidekas. We have to reach them before they regain their full senses, thought Songho. He threw his grenades at one droideka after the other, aiming for the ones farthest away: the machines’ deflecting shields didn’t stop material objects, and the grenades exploded inside the shields, destroying the droids in a flash. Songho saw his master doing the same from the corners of his eyes: ten droidekas were down, five remained. As the Jedi closed in on them, the machines opened fire. Songho, dodging to the side, almost returned fire on pure reflex before remembering that it would be no good whatsoever: instead, he focused fully on dodging or deflecting the droidekas’ shots, which took quite a lot of effort in and of itself.

The droidekas’ blasters shot with greater speed, power and accuracy than those of their regular infantry counterparts: this made defending against them quite a challenge, and Songho was surprised to find himself once again enjoying the battle greatly. Does this make me a bad Jedi? He decided to think about that later after getting singed by a blaster shot. He was a few feet away from his enemy when he crouched as if to jump: when he saw the droideka’s blasters going up, anticipating his movement, he instantly relaxed all the muscles in his legs and fell down on his side, sliding for the remaining distance. He was on the droideka before the machine could react, and, activating his lightsabers, cut off both its weapons before thrusting one saber through its head, using the destroyed droid’s shield to deflect a second droideka’s attacks. The first droideka started to fall down, its shield shutting down, and Songho rolled backwards …

Then he felt a danger and threw himself up with an arm. Just in time, too: three blaster shots scored the spot where he would have been in quick succession. Another droideka. How could I not notice him? Landing on his knees, he hurriedly deflected a few blasts, rolled to the side, deflected a few more blasts … I’m too far away, he thought desperately. He was too close to the wall to dodge efficiently now, and deflecting droideka blasts for more than a few seconds was beyond his skills, that much he knew. Is this how it ends? He felt one shot graze his arm, another one his leg, one more singed the side of his shoulder … Suddenly, Master Koon appeared beside the droideka and cut its blasters off, then ran his blade through the machine’s body and pulled it upwards to cut the droid in two. The machine fell down in two parts, destroyed.

“Thank you, Master,” said Songho, panting and holding his shoulder. “That was a close call.”
“Do you know why you almost died?” asked the Jedi. Behind him, the three other droidekas were littered in a trail of destruction.
Songho thought for a few seconds before answering, recalling what had happened and trying to neutralize the pain in his shoulder. “Tunnel vision, Master.”
“Correct”, answered Koon. “You focused too much on the opponent in front of you and not enough on the others around you. When we get back to HQ, you will do me the favor of training your Force Sensing more than your lightsaber skills for a while, alright?”
Songho, finally managing to blunt the pain, acquiesced wordlessly. He had neglected his Force training recently, and he did not want Master Koon to disapprove of him. Spending a few weeks focused on his Sensing wouldn’t do him any harm. It would put him behind on his studies of the Vaapad, but that could wait now that he had assimilated the basic principles of the form, and the Force was arguably more important anyway.

Master Koon spoke up again. “The separatist leaders we are looking for are beyond that door,” he said, gesturing towards a round metallic reinforced door. “For some reason, however, they are calmer than they should be. I can’t Sense anything more accurate, but they feel too safe for people who just saw their last ambush fail through that camera there.”
“Which means that this wasn’t their last ambush,” said Songho.
“Indeed,” answered his master. “They still have something prepared, at least. Be on your guard, everyone.”
He moved towards the door, but the clone Lieutenant Ax stopped him. “Master Koon,” he said, “if we do not know what they have, please let my men enter first. We cannot afford to lose a Jedi as easily as a clone.”
Plo Koon was clearly displeased by that line of thought, but he couldn’t argue against it. “Fine, Lieutenant. We will melt that door, then five of your men will breach the room, followed by us. Songho, come.”
The Master Jedi and his apprentice thrust their lightsabers into the thick door, which started melting and falling apart. When it was open enough, two clones ran into the room, blasters raised.

Suddenly, there were two flashes of light, and the clones fell down, dead. Before them stood three tall androids with capes and electrostaves: Magna guards. “We’ll take them,” said Master Koon, rushing forwards. “As soon as we’ve pushed them back, you all enter the room and capture the leaders!”
Koon took the two nearest Magna guards and Songho the last one. It was fast and strong, and surprisingly well-trained: a month ago, Songho would have been killed quickly. But the battles he had been in had worked wonders for his swordsmanship. He dodged and parried the first flurry of blows, his Jar’Kai giving him an edge, and almost managed to cut one of the thing’s hands off, but the droid sidestepped and brought its weapon down, cutting off a piece of Songho’s robes. The Jedi apprentice attacked with a low blow from the left with his right saber and a high thrust at the same time: the droid parried the former and dodged the latter by stepping back, then replied with a blow to the head, keeping the right saber in check. Got you. Songho narrowly parried the attack and seemed to push against it forcefully … Then he switched his right saber off and on again. The blade, deactivated, went beyond the droid’s staff and activated again just in time to cut off the machine’s leg. A textbook Tràkata application. As the droid fell, Songho stepped back prudently and shot it several times in the head and chest with his blasters until it shut down.

He noticed that Master Koon seemed to be having trouble with the two other droids. They were alternating and combining their attacks fluidly, leaving the Jedi no time to strike back or use the Force. Songho knew that if he tried to intervene, he would be more of a bother than anything else, but maybe … He took off his mantle , rolled it in a ball, and threw it at one of the droids. The machine parried on reflex, entangling its weapon in the cloth, and Master Koon took the opportunity: he cut the encumbered electrostaff in two, then slashed open the machine’s chest, sidestepped and unleashed his Electric Judgment on the other. The tongues of yellow lightning ran all over the droid, frying its circuitry, and it fell down, disabled.
“Well done again, Songho,” said the Jedi, tired. “Good thinking. You should get that cut treated quickly, though.”
Songho, confused, brought a hand up to his cheek: indeed, there was a nasty gash on his cheekbone. Kel Dor skin was basically leather, so it didn’t bleed, and with the adrenaline he hadn’t felt it, but it looked like that last thrust had been stronger than he had thought. Ah, well, it had been a good fight. That again. Well, it’s not like I can do anything about it right now.

As the Jedi and the clones moved in to capture the Neimoidian leaders, Songho thought that at this rate, they would be done on this planet and back to the Temple soon. And it would be only a matter of time until the war was over.

Balavan Nire - Tython

Balavan awoke to the sound of pounding on the outside of the ship, and the various noises of whatever creatures that were doing the pounding. The ship was laying on it's side, so everything loose had slid to one side, including himself. He propped himself up and groaned, he had several large cuts and bruises from the crash. Awesome. Crashed on an abandoned planet with no medical kits. Looking around, he spotted his blaster on top of one of the consoles on the opposite side of the ship. He crawled slowly towards it, trying not aggravate his wounds, but began to feel dizzy and had to stop several times before he finally reached it, and placed it back in it's holster.

He took a moment to rest, leaning up against the console, and looked around. The entire ship looked dead, not a single scanner or light was glowing. This didn't really surprise him. However, there was light streaming into the ship from the exit ramp. He assumed it had been forced open due to the crash, and decided to take a look. He carefully climbed up the lop-sided floor, grabbing on to whatever he could that was solidly attached. Balavan forced himself to ignore his wounds as he climbed, stopping only to catch his breath. Finally he reached the exit ramp, and took his first look at the planet surface. It was covered in overgrown forest, but he could see a nearby temple that looked like it may be a good place for shelter, assuming something else wasn't already there. Looking down, he spotted multiple flesh raiders pounding on the side of the ship and screaming incoherently. "Just when I thought this day couldn't get any worse." Balavan whispered to himself. Suddenly he heard a roar unlike that of any he's heard so far, and quickly looked around. One of the creatures had spotted him, and was aiming to throw a spear. Balavan tried to move out of the way, but due to his wounds, was too slow. The spear gashed open his leg. Balavan screamed and fell as blood flowed out of his new wound. He quickly pulled his shirt off and using his last bit of strength, wrapped it tightly around his leg. His last view before blacking out again, hanging over the edge of the exit ramp, was the skin raiders gathering beneath him.
