Brishkah - The Jedi Temple on Coruscant

When Brishkah heard Serena's voice in his head, he immediately took off for the entrance of the Temple. Brushing by several Jedi on the way there and nearly tripping over a youngling. He arrived to find Serena by the entrance, just like she told him. He ran up to her and looked her straight in the eyes and said "There is no reason to be afraid, your master is here now." He laid his hand on her shoulder to provide her comfort. He looked out of the entrance to the Temple and at the battle overhead. "Quite the sight, isn't it? A battle over the capital world of the Republic. Never did I think the CIS would be so bold." He looked at her, waiting for her to respond.

Serena and Mhaor
Jedi Temple
Coruscant

Serena held back her urge to hug her master, not out of a fear of showing attachment, but out of fear of revealing how scared she truly was. She did place one of her hands on his when he took one of her shoulders to comfort her and greeted him with a smile, but her hand fell and her smile vanished when he pointed out the battle that took place over the grand city's sky and farther beyond that. She was conflicted over her thoughts on the battle, she was truly afraid of what this battle implied about the state of the war. But she also felt maybe she should be up there helping in the battle, she was a jedi, the power they capable of was immense, but yet she was down here feeling like she wasn't doing anything to help.

"Does this mean the Republic is losing?" asked Serena in her quiet voice as she stared into the sky. Her voice only became quieter as she continued, "SHouldn't we be up there?" She personally believed she wasn't up there due to her ability as she lacked much confidence her own ability. Though she was a little ashamed, she couldn't help but find the colors of the light to be pleasing even though she knew what was happening at the end of each beam of light.

Mhaor, the "droid" that Serena had came across nearly a decade before given to her by a grateful family after her master and herself assisted them along with the whole community, stood behind his "owner" as she and her own master spoke. He watched the two as they spoke and he watched the battle, he never expected the war to even happen as it did. He was sure the Sith never truly died as Mhaor was set in his belief that the Jedi order was incapable of ever defeating the Sith just as the Sith were incapable of defeating the Jedi, the two were opposite sides of the same coin, the existence of one side ensured the survival of the other. However, even though he was sure they would make there rise, he never would have expected their quick rise to power and sudden appearance as they had achieved. The plans he had in mind, ones he had worked out for nearly half a century crumbled as the war began and he knew he would have to change his plans to influence the young girl who "owned" him and sway her away from this order that was doomed to follow the cycle it had throughout history.

Brishkah - The Jedi Temple on Coruscant

He looked at his worried padawan and gave what you could consider a smile, by Trandoshan standards. "No, the Republic isn't losing Serena. And no, we don't need to be up in that battle because you and me are going on a little trip ourselves." He then looked to the droid that accompanied his padawan everywhere, but immediately looked back at the fearful girl. "As a padawan who is about to go through her trials, you should be ready with all the knowledge I can provide you. So, we're going to the Jedi home world of Tython to examine the Jedi artifacts there. Does that sound good to you, Serena?" He asked in a very caring way. While he was her master, he still felt that Serena was entitled to her own individuality. He often felt that the droid that accompanied her was a distraction, but he allowed her to keep it because he understood how important the droid was to Serena. He would usually give her a choice, because he understood that Serena will not have him for guidance anymore, so she needs to be ready to make her own choices. He was there to offer her support and teach her, but not control her.

Vidar Bothanduster in Coruscant

Postby United States Kingdom » Sun Jul 06, 2014 9:22 pm

Vidar was within Coruscant as he prepared to train in his form Shien/Djem So. Of course he didn't expect to become great at it but his ability with the form was growing stronger and he was become more proficient each day he practiced. He was in the Temple meditating. Today he hoped that he could spar with someone.

Mace entered the sparring room within the temple. "Ok Vidar. Are you ready?" He began slightly startling the apprentice. Mace had begun training with Vidar only a week ago, but could already see the great potential behind this brave, future Jedi. Mace drew his Lightsaber and got into a blocking stance, the purple blade tilted to the left with his left foot in front.

I act as Yoda in this conversation ONLY. I am not, will not, and have not RP'd as him in this thread; the only reason that I speak as him now is because he is imperative to the conversation.

"Master Yoda! Master Yoda," Baintlyffe ran down the halls of the Council Tower to catch up with the legendary Jedi, "how did I do on my exam?" The Jedi master studied the boy intently, his wizened gaze staring into the youngling.
"Patience, youngling," Yoda adressed him, shaking his head, "patience, you must have. A virtue patience is. Results of preliminary exams, sent to your communicator, they will be." The venerable Jedi master climbed upon his hoverchair. "All in good time. Go to your quarters, you must. Await you, interesting challenges do. Appear on the horizon, they will. Sleep, you must get." The young boy looked down. "Sorry, master," he mumbled, and walked off, dejected. He had hoped to find out his test scores so that he could rest easier. But his impatient nature made not knowing the scores all the more difficult. As soon as he reached his bunk, his roommate turned off the holobook he was engaged in and they both fell into a deep sleep.

TO BE CONTINUED.

The news of their future mission and her being on the eve of doing her trials to become a knight were both comforting and disheartening. On the one hand she would be proving to herself that she is ready and belongs in the order along with the fact that this meant her master believed she was ready and she desperately sought after his approval and praise. But this was met with consequences, if she was to become a knight she would lose her master who she had grown fond of and attached to even though she knew she shouldn't. She found it hard to be interact with those she didn't truly know, but at the same time she knew she became extremely attached to those she was close to who were just her master and the droid that she always kept with her except when a mission or circumstance deemed it inappropriate. Even though she was attached to the two she did her best to attempt to hide how deep her affection was. She knew she would be heartbroken to lose his guidance and presence, but she would have to do it to move on in the order and she would just have to savor the days leading up to her trials.

She mustered the best fake smile she could make as her thoughts had caused the trials to seem almost negative. "That sounds great Master Brishkah," said the young woman a bit too enthusiastically. She looked back at her droid for some sort of encouragement, a habit she formed, even though the droid had no capability to physically show emotions.

Vidar adopted a Djem So stance. He let the force few through him, letting him become stronger in the light side. He began preparing himself to duel one of the greatest duelists in the order's history as he used force speed, attacking the Jedi master. Vidar then used force speed to get to a closer position toward the Jedi Master. He put his arm up seeming what seemed to be a downward attack until he spinned sending a strike toward his left leg as it was the front leg. He then moved back awaiting to see if the Jedi Master had countered his ability or had just used a defensive move to block or dodge his ability.

"Well then, good. 'Cause we're leaving now." He led his Padawan to the hangar that housed a ship that was granted to him for use at the time by a friend on Naboo. A J-type 327 Nubian starship laid in the hangar. He stopped to marvel at the sight, its beautiful silver appearance give it a look of absolute beauty and elegance. He then proceeded to show Serena to the entrance platform. "Don't worry, I'll get us through that battle without any trouble." He said to alleviate any fears she might have of going through the space battle to leave on their mission to Tython.

He sat in the pilot seat of the silver ship, and proceeded to get all systems go. They left the ground and immediately pushed their way up into orbit. Naturally, some CIS fighters tried to bring them down, but some evasive maneuvers were able to get them off. He marveled at the fight that lay before him. All the ships in a naval battle that is sure to determine the fate of the war. Brishkah was a little down about not being part of the battle, but he had a padawan to teach, and Serena was more important than some battle.

Soon, they made the jump to lightspeed and were off to the planet of Tython to continue Serena's training. Brishkah looked over to Serena, "See. I told you I'd get us through the battle without any trouble."

It would be too much to hope that the Foundry or the HK factory are still running."

Picking himself up from the droid hold of the Hammerhead, HK-47 gave what, from a meatbag, could be called a groan. "Declaration: Ugh, my servo motors. I stop for four thousand years, and course my servo motors are seized up." Staggering slightly, (OOC: the damaged walk from KotOR 2) HK made his way to the armory, intent on picking up his turbo-charged tibanna-powered rifle, modified to take down droids and meatbags alike. When he got to the armory, he first secured his rifle and ran a diagnostic on it. "Observation: My rifle has degraded in accuracy by 12.5%. Its power output has decreased by 10%. The casing has melted partially, impacting meatbag grip enough to further decrease accuracy. Adjusting hand to compensate." Walking over to the workbench, HK managed to cobbled together a repair kit, enough to restore basic functionality to his left arm and enabling him to create a construction kit in order to loosen more of his servos and perform some needed repairs to his red durasteel plating. "Commentary: Now, to find a transport off planet. Statement: This planet is logged in my galactic positioning system. Conjecture: Some form of hyperspace transport must be available here. It is only a matter of finding it." Turning, HK activated his inbuilt stygium crystals, rippling and vanishing from sight.

Serena followed her master to the luxurious looking starship with her droid loyally following behind the master and padawan. The Trandoshian Jedi made a comment on getting her through safely which she responded with, "I trust you master." Though she was completely honest, she still couldn't stop the shaking in her voice before following him into the ship along with her droid who found a spot near the back to stay away from the pair. As the systems came to life the young adult tensed up and she tightly gripped her seat. She had no fear of flying, but she was extremely uncomfortable of flying in combat. While she could keep her calm fairly simply in normal combat, a lightsaber was an extension of herself, a starship was a large vehicle that did not feel natural to her.

As the ship took to flight at the sounds of the guns on the numerous starships and fighters in orbit began to boom around her she stretched her arm out to her master and grasped his arm, though not a tight enough grip to hinder his ability to fly. As the sounds of war died down her master made a reassuring comment which she let go of her master in response while saying, "Sorry, I should have trusted you." She blushed in embarrassment as she turned to stare forward eager to touch down on ground again.

Brishkah looked at the girl and said "You can always trust me. I'll always be here for you, Serena. Even after your trials, you can always come to me for advice or help or just to talk." He had hoped that he would always be able to be there for her. She was unlike most people she met, he actually had a connection with her. He felt close to her, and she was probably the only person in the galaxy that he cared about.

He looked at the interface of the ship. What if I can't be there for her? he thought to himself. He could feel his entire body tense up at the thought, he actually felt sad at the thought of not being around Serena. There is no emotion he thought repeatedly, trying to hammer it in to his head. I can't do this, I can't let my emotions get the better of me. I can't hold any attachments, not even to Serena. He could feel a tear fall down from his eye, he decided to ignore it and hope that Serena did not see it.

"We'll, umm, arrive at Tython in a little bit. You should rest up, Serena. When we arrive, it's off to the archives there immediately." He said, turning to Serena.

Serena blushed again as she was encouraged by her master's words, she had the fear and it still lingered in the back of her mind that she would have lose him if she was to complete her trials. She couldn't remove the smile that appeared on her face though as he told her he would always be there for her. The thought of losing him was making her anxious most of the flight, but his reassurance helped comfort her.

She looked at her master and could have sworn she saw a tear or something glisten on his face, but she dismissed it as nothing more then a trick from the lights of the ship. Her master wouldn't cry, jedi masters didn't cry and in Serena's mind Master Brishkah was the best of the order. He was everything Serena aspired to be as he was the world to Serena, fearful of the judgement of others, she only ever grew close to him and became attached to him. And though she would never admit it to her self or anyone, she loved him, though she knew not how.

He suggested that she sleep and she looked back to her master and said with a smile, "Alright Master Brishkah, I'll see you in a bit." And with that she found a comfortable position and attempted to fall asleep. Mhaor, however, continued to watch from the back of the cockpit and confirmed his fears, the relationship between the master and padawan were fairly strong, and would take time to push Serena away from her master's teachings without pushing her to the Sith, but he had time, plenty of time.

Tatooine

After few hours, Anton finally got to weird cave that was emanating with dark side force. "I think this is it" said Anton, and walked to the cave. When he came in the cave, entrance to the cave collapsed, so Anton had to use force to find the right corridor. Suddenly, he heard weird sound of the animal. "Wild Tuk'atas. I knew there must be some of them." As he said that, he turned around, turned his lightsaber on, and cut Tuk'ata in half. Then he heard very loud noise, and Tuk'atas run away. It was an attacking rancor. Anton raised his hand and pushed away rancor's leg so he fell on the ground. Daeskent jumped on his hand and elecrocuted rancor's brain. He saw some kind of chest. Unfortunately, it was empty. "Of course. It was impossible that no one would steal it"

Brishkah - Tython

Image

As the silver ship exited hyperspace, master Brishkah was met with the beautiful sigh of Tython. He marveled at the planet, in sheer awe of it. The homeworld of the Jedi Order, the origins of the very Order he was apart of. All the secrets that lie on the planet were moments away from being discovered by him and his padawan. Serena was still resting, like he suggested she did.

As he came into the atmosphere of the world, he noticed some smaller settlements on the planet. "Flesh Raiders" the Trandoshan Jedi whispered. He remembered reading about them in the archives. About how they were trouble to the Jedi Order when this planet was the center of the Order. He noticed a small clearing that was relatively close to the ruined remains of the Jedi Temple there. He landed the ship with as smoothly as he could. He wondered if any of the Flesh Raiders spotted their ship, he knew they probably did and were already advancing on the landing sight.

He got up from his the pilot's chair and took out his lightsaber in the case of running into any. He then turned to Serena and proceeded to wake her up. He placed his hand on her shoulder, and proceeded to shake her a little. "Serena, we've landed. We don't have much time, wake up." He said in a relaxed voice, trying not to wake her too violently, but still enough to get her up and ready to go.

Aran Vale-CIS Vice Admiral-Battle of Coruscant-Aboard the 'Noble Might'
I could sense anger in her voice. I knew I should not be surprised, as while Jedi are trained to contain emotion, they are not droids. However, I stood about thirty paces from her. Speaking in a loud and clear tone so she would hear me. But not moving toward her yet. Just staying in the center of the bridge, while she stood just a couple paces inside the blast door. "You seem upset...Jedi. You should not be, there is nothing personnel. At least not for me. There was simply a contest between us and you lost. Not that I could fairly claim an even challenge." I then made a motion at the combat droids, all around the room, so still...so motionless. As if they were statues in an ancient Jedi temple on Tython. I then attempted to set her mind at ease.

"Do not concern yourself with the droids. You make no threatening movements..." I then paused a moment. And then stated simply as if conveying a star map report. "Then neither will they." I walked several paces closer to her. Speaking as I approached her. "Oh, but I am forgetting myself. I, am Vice Admiral Aran Vale. Leading Admiral under General Grievous. Veteran of both battles of Geonosis and engineer of the Confederate victory at Hypori as well as Onderon's most successful living commander." I then caught a glimpse of her lightsaber and contemplated stripping her of it. But on a whim, decided not to. She was captured and she knew it, and while she would have it taken when she was escorted to the holding cells, I saw no immediate need to confiscate it. I then motioned with my arm to the viewport, revealing the battle all around the ship. And stood just next to it as I explained things to her.

Before I began to speak a munificant class ship was obliterated just a couple kilometers ahead of us, but the destruction was so total we could see it well. I then shook my head, and my health began to show a bit, as the coloration in my face faded slightly. "I may have bested you. But this battle goes to the Republic...and your Jedi Order. Every minute and seventeen seconds. We lose three ships on average in this battle. But when you invade with nearly four thousand ships. It takes a while to realize you have lost. Although Grievous should figure it out soon." I then passed a sideways glance to her. As a Jedi Starfighter attempted to lead a bomber squadron on a course with my ship, but was destroyed by ant fighter defenses and counter Vultures.

"And your Order sacrifices much for the 'Grand Army of the Republic'." I sighed deeply. "They deserve to die for a worthier cause." Looking at the Jedi woman, who was revealed to be a miraluka. About 22 years old and had vibrant red hair. I simply met her gaze. And then looked out at the stars. "Your order has lost it's way. And again due to the Republic, had it not been for the Republic your kind would still be nothing more than meditating monks in the temples of Tython. You claim to be peacekeepers, mediators and diplomats. But the Order is again in active war. The very sum of what a Jedi hopes to avoid. Each time the Republic is in crisis it either drags the Jedi in, or the Order comes running. The Mandalorian Wars, Jedi Civil War and Great Hyperspace War and Great Galactic War. Even now, in stead of preserving life, you wield a saber and have attempted to kill or subdue me. The Republic is destroying the very foundation of the Jedi."

I then turned to her. Taking in her full form I allowed myself to relax a bit. But just slightly. "You are a Miraluka. Your species is blind...yet you see much through the Force. I will concede, I do not understand your being as a Jedi. Your goals are enviable but filled with paradox. You strive to protect life but do not live it. You speak of love and understanding but wont allow yourselves love. And you desire peace, not like a civilian but say it is a foundation of your order. To have peace. And yet you war. I respect your kind. But dont believe I will ever understand you. Not completely. Even as Dooku leads us, I know him but not the Jedi." I breathed deeply and exhaled.

"The Master in which you serve is corrupt. In the form of the Republic, even now you seethe with anger at me for fighting against it. But it is the Republic...which fights against us. The Order sent spies to Geonosis, and then attacked us with 200 Jedi killing Geonosians, destroying droids and essentially creating a small battle. Then the Republic blitzes the world, without declaration of war, with an army not even the Senate knew about. As just days earlier they were debating the very ethics of creating an army. Have you not wondered where such an army came from? And even the leader you serve. The Supreme chancellor. His seemingly benevolent agenda is betrayed by his deeds. The passing of Emergency Powers Act, which eliminated his term limits, keeping him in power indefinitely. Then after Geonosis the Military Creation Act. To officially adopt the use of slaved clones to die for the Republic. Then the Enhanced Security Enforcement Act, suspending basic rights and arresting dissenters without trial, secret searches and seizures without warrant and detention without due process. And lastly the Reflex Amendment, giving Palpatine the power to bypass the very Senate he is supposed to serve and creating a parallel military government in addition to the senate. Giving 'Governor Generals full authority to direct military and industrial decisions in their sectors." I sighed.

"Now you with the force by your side see more than I, then why is it that even I can see that if the Republic wins this war. That it will be the end of reason in the galaxy. The end of consent of rule by sovereign worlds. The end of even perhaps...your order as we know it. And atop the ashes of all of this the rise of a empire in the Republic unlike which the galaxy has ever seen." I left her at the viewport and sat myself, as I needed to rest.

And considered silently how I would desire to have an ally with such capabilities on my side. And with her skill in Battle Meditation may even be able to spare her from Dooku and Grievous. And so, I would offer her a choice.

"Jedi, I am not the monster you may believe me to be. I am prepared to offer you a decision that rests entirely on you and what you believe is right. Do only as your conscience and the force demands. You have surrendered to me, and I could have my Magna Guards escort you to the detention block of the ship. Where you would be stripped of your saber and await your fate. Perhaps traded for prisoners of war or even killed if my ship is destroyed. Or, you can help me. Help me to bring this war to a close. Help me in guiding the CIS down a gentler path, away from that of Grievous. To help me bring sanity back into this Galaxy. And to perhaps even save the Republic from itself. If that is even possible. So, what I am asking you is. You may be my prisoner, or you may be my ally."

I then quickly remembered a most important note.

And one last thing.

"What is your name...Jedi of the Republic?"

Obi Wan Kenobi-Jedi Master-Aboard the Invisible Hand
"Come Anakin. The elevators should be up ahead." I predicted as three Droideka rolled up. "Quickly bring them down before they activate their shields!" I declared, brandishing my saber and using Force Leap to maneuver behind one as it unfurled itself and cut it in two. The Other two had already activated shields however and my saber was unable to significantly damage the protective dome around the Droideka. Making a tactical retreat, as one of the Destroyer Droids turned around and began blasting away with the heavy blaster cannons mounted to it. I took cover how I could. Knowing I could not separate myself from Anakin as we would have to take both Grievous and Dooku down together, I focused myself and brandished my saber in my graceful and masterful Soresu stance. Putting myself in the line of fire, deflecting blaster fire and forcing the shots back at it's own barriers. It took a while, but the tactic eventually worked and the shields giving way, allowed the next two deflected blasts to take the deadly machine out of commission.

But Anakin still faced the last Destroyer, and again Force Leaping I landed just in front of him, going into Soresu once more to provide a shield for Anakin. Keeping just a few steps ahead of him, I would deflect the blaster fire before they could reach the young Jedi Knight allowing him to counter attack.

"Anakin, I'll cover you so you can counter this last droid and clear the way for us!" I yelled out over the fire. And despite the situation, I smiled somewhat pleased. Perhaps after this he will remove a point from what I owe him after saving my life. Almost like the time 'we' or 'I' fell into that nest of Gundarks. But pushing the thought aside, I allowed Ani enough space so he could make his move, thus clearing the way for us to continue our mission.

Serena opened her eyes and turned as she awoke to face up. Her master was gently, though still firmly urging her to get ready. Her eyes fell from her master's face to his hand that was grasping a lightsaber and she knew her master expected trouble. While this did worry Serena, she felt much more at ease as she was on the ground and felt much more comfortable dueling then dogfighting. She knew the planet was in ruins, a location rich in history of the jedi, so it was only natural that scavengers of all kind would roam the planet, though she did not know of the native inhabitants of the planet. She got out of her chair and took her own, basic lightsaber from her robes to follow her master.

As she finished getting up she turned her attention to the droid that continually stood in the back and said, "Come on, it probably won't be safe for you here, I'll protect you." She walked over to the exit of the starship and said, "What kind of trouble are you expecting, master?"

Sira Marr - The 'Noble Might'

Sira looked at the droids around her, looking for any potential weakness to exploit in order to escape, but part of her believed precisely what the Admiral was saying. Long had she believed the Republic was corrupt, and she has found plenty of faults with the Jedi teachings. She looked at her lightsaber, and then turned to the Admiral Vale. "I am Sira Marr, youngest librarian of the Jedi Archives." She spoke in the calmest voice she could muster at the moment, which still sounded like she wanted to rip his head off.

"I ask for your pardon for my obvious anger. It's not so much for you as it is for myself. Both for falling into your trap, and actually finding reason in what your saying." She then looked down towards the floor, with a shameful look on her face. "I do understand everything you say. And I would join you if you could answer one question for me. What do you mean by 'guiding the CIS down a gentler path'?" She inquired, highly interested in the Admiral's response.

Brishkah - Tython

Brishkah looked to his padawan, and spoke in a calm and clear voice. "The inhabitants of this world are know as Flesh Raiders. They are creatures that are extremely violent. If they see us, they'll attack us. So we need to be ready." With those words, Brishkah pressed a button which lowered the exit hatch. He proceeded outside to look around for any potential danger. He kept his lightsaber tight in his hand, ready for any signs of danger.

The Flesh Raiders growled to eachother in their guttural language as they watched the large grey object land on the dirt near the evil temple. The leader of the Flesh Raiders one named Ver Asej chittered in the tounge of the Flesh Raider but quieted as he saw figures emerge from the strange grey object. The figures seemed to be looking around so Ver Asej gestured for the other Flesh Raiders to drop to the ground as the figure swept his gaze over the area. Silently rising Ver Asej chittered violently wanting to kill the strange figures and play with their large grey object. Ordering an attack Ver Asej pointed his bone sword at the figures and made a guttural noise as he overcame his fear of the evil temple that made him and the other Flesh Raiders uneasy and began running towards the figures with the rest of the Flesh Raiders following behind him.

Aran Vale-CIS Vice Admiral-Aboard the 'Noble Might'
I was surprised. By many things. First that a mere Librarian had such ability as Battle Meditation. Even as meager as it was. But in time, er skills in it will grow. Surprised at how the Jedi failed to make proper use of her, both in their order and this battle. Surprised that she would even consider my offer. And surprised by the very question she asked me. This Jedi...this Sira Marr...was full of surprises. But, her brief glimpse at her own saber had me prepare for a possible escape attempt. But I verbally ignored the look. Instead answering her very simple question.

"Well, as a Librarian as informed as yourself. I am sure you know of who leads the armies of the Confederacy, and even in this very battle. He needs no introduction." I paused for a moment for effect. "General Grievous. Warlord of the Kaleesh and commander of the largest droid army in the history of the Galaxy. Sworn enemy of the Jedi Order, killer of dozens of Jedi Knights and ruthless conqueror of a hundred worlds." Standing up, I continued.

"The Republic has much propaganda on the Confederacy. Of how we despoil worlds, how we brutally subdue native civilizations underfoot and slaughter civilians and soldiers alike. And due to Grievous and a select few other commanders. This is all true. However, unlike the Republic, the Confederacy is young. Still forming itself. And can be molded by those who seek change. Such as I, and possibly you. As long as Grievous, and to a lesser extent the Separatist Council maintain control of the CIS rather than the Confederate Parliament and Dooku. Then these traits of our movement will never change. Grievous fights not for honor, principle or the Confederacy. But for his own satisfaction. And as long as the CIS grant him a chance to kill Jedi and Republic soldiers he will fight gladly." I then stepped closer to her, where we were only a few steps apart. She could kill me now if she desired with a swift motion of her silver blade, but the droids would kill her.

But it was a non verbal sign of trust. And I spoke softly. But directly to her.

"Dont not misunderstand me. I am not seeking a apprentice or student. But a partner. An equal to help me achieve what is best for the Confederacy of Independent Systems and Galaxy. In short, I desire a grown woman not a child to baby sit. Now naturally being older and more experienced in warfare I will aid you and mentor you occasionally. But you will be doing most things yourself, alongside me. I am offering you a chance to truly matter. We could both die here, in this very battle. And yet the galaxy will remember me. And you will fade into existence. I am not offering you glory, but a opening to change things for the better."

I then took a step back and gave her some room.

"I seek to replace Grievous as Supreme Commander of the Droid Armies. I have taken great pains to ensure no unneeded destruction has befallen Republic worlds I have subdued. But even more importantly, if Grievous continues to direct us, we will lose this war. So, if you truly believe in the evils of the Confederacy, and the ideals of the order. Kill me here and end my goals. Ensure the Confederacy will collapse in the years, perhaps just months ahead. And win victory for the Republic and Order with our deaths. But if your conscience sees truth in what I tell you. If you desire to truly benefit this galaxy, then join with me and we will shape it."

I then allowed her to respond.

"Make your decision, Sira. What will you do?"

Sira Marr - The 'Noble Might'

Sira Marr was dumbfounded. She believed that most, if not all, of the CIS was corrupt in irredeemable like the Republic. But all of what the Admiral said made so much sense to her, they could work together to make something better than the Republic ever was. She looked out the nearest window and stared at the battle, the several Republic ships engaging CIS ships. She watched as another munifucent class ship exploded in the far off distance.

She knew, in her heart, that the Admiral was right, and her conscience made her take his side. "Alright. I'll join you in aiding the CIS and bring down Grievous." She said with her calmest voice. She then looked to the Admiral, to see what he had in store for her.

Brishkah - Tython

Brishkah saw the Flesh Raiders as they ran at him. He pulled his lightsaber apart into two blades and lit them both. He turned to Serena to reassure her everything will be fine, and ran towards the beasts. He saw their old training sabers that they must have looted from the Temple there and his saber met theirs. He was easily able to deflect the training saber away from him and drive his other saber into the beast's chest, killing it.

His eye's then turned to the leader of the group, a fierce beast holding a bone sword. He ran at it, cutting down several other flesh raiders along the way until he finally reached it. The beast tried to deflect his lightsaber with its crude sword, but the lightsaber easily cut through it and the blade slashed right into the beasts chest. He then moved his other saber in a thrusting motion, stabbing it in the chest.

He then turned around to see another flesh raider making its way to Serena. He used the force to telepathically scream into the flesh raider's mind. The beast fell to the ground in pain, gripping its head. Brishkah walked towards it slowly and slashed its back, killing it. He then turned to Serena, "I'll take care of you, but come on. We have to leave for the Temple before more Flesh Raiders arrive."

Near elevators, Invisible hand

Anakin had been a little disoriented after the droidekas attacked, as a deflected blaster bolt had caught a light fixture, slightly blinding him. However as the final destroyers shields went down, he gracefully stepped in, cutting both it's blasters off, before thrusting his bright blue blade through the CPU of the droid. As it fell to the ground,Anakin deactivates his saber, before gesturing at the lifts. "Come master, these will take us to the bridge" he said. Strangely he felt worried about Palpintine. He knew that they were increasingly close, but these feelings were weird. Ignoring them, he walked into a lift.

The Flesh Raiders had retreated in fear of both their close proximity to the evil temple and the fierce blade of the mysterious figure but their courage was returning quickly as more Flesh Raiders gathered around the area looking for the source of the noise. As more and more Flesh Raiders gathered so that multiple tribes now lay in wait around the forest they began their simple yet blood curdling war chants. "Oja sja doja vusa hoda kuma ha!" Repeated over and over again the chant was taken up by Flesh Raiders one by one until the entire forest shuddered with their cries. Slowly they began to advance their menacing smile and blood curdling chants growing louder and more pronounced as they approached group warily holding out their light sticks.
Nothing to see here. Move along.

Serena and Mhaor
Old Jedi Temple
Tython

As her master approached the group one of the vicious looking beasts approached her swinging his archaic weapon in the creature's rage. Serena readied herself with the Makashi form, the form she was proficient with though her skill was still lacking. She raised her saber in defense as the fleshraider striked at Serena accidentally destroying his blade as it cut itself against the saber. The raider threw away his hilt as he prepared to strike with his bare hands, but his hand was caught by Serena's droid who pulled the fleshraider back causing him to lose his balance and fall back. Serena followed it up by striking at the beast while fell.

With her adversary dead she looked up to see that her master had just dispatched three of the monsters. She quickly checked over he droid as her master encouraged to keep moving. In which she responded while breathing heavily, "Alright, let's go." The quickly followed her master, but soon the chanting of more of the creatures could be heard from all around and Serena once again raised her saber to prepare herself.

Brishkah looked to his padawan to see her readying her saber. "We don't have time to fight them, just keep running to the Temple!." He yelled to her, as he continued to run. He looked forward to see the Temple relatively close, close enough to get to and secure a postition inside. He looked back, "Serena, JUST KEEP RUNNING!"

A flesh raider attempted to jump him, but he immediately dispatched the creature with a simple thrust of his blade. "RUN" He yelled to his Padawan.
