The temporary government of Burma has set up a referenda to take place in 3 days. The Burmese provinces will choose to either join china, join Siam, or be independent. Guang Lei Jin eyed the construction site closely from meters away, attempting to visualize the finished structure in his mind. This man in his 40's works as a project engineer for the New Frontier Construction Company based in Urumqi, and was assigned to oversee this project sponsored by the provincial Chinese government, with central government funding of course. It was a dry day filled with the sweltering heat of the Xinjiang desert, a nearly unbearable 30 degrees Celsius heat wave rushing throughout the construction premises without mercy. Donning a white lightweight T-shirt and blue jeans, Lei Jin wiped the sweat from his forehead before stepping backwards a few meters to get a better perspective of the area.

In the latest drive by the Central Government to curb rampant pollution as the result of unhindered GDP growth and manufacturing excesses, a plan has been introduced to test and implement the most groundbreaking technologies to clean up the environmental mess left behind in the economic boom. China already produces the most solar panels and windmills in the world, yet this is not enough to combat debilitating urban smog that covers the east coast. Therefore, engineers have introduced a revolutionary, untested concept that the government hopes Lei Jin could bring reality to.

Staring at the workers laboring at the site, Mr. Guang began envisioning the structure being constructed. Given the extreme heat waves that prevail in this region, scientists have suggested that the rise of specially-channeled heat energy is sufficient enough to turn turbines in an electric generator, thereby producing renewable energy for residents to use. The company is currently working on the building of a skyscraper-like structure, tall in height and narrow in width, that will intake accumulated heat energy from the base and allow the waves to travel through special internal channels that could build enough pressure to activate the turbines located around the sides of the structure and near the top. Of course, multiple heat-channeling structures will need to be built, and therefore a large amount of money needs to be allocated towards such an effort. But any price is worth it in the face of an increasing epidemic of health problems associated with widespread pollution in China. Guang Lei Jin nodded to himself before strolling back towards the entrance to the construction site.

For too long, the progress for an agreement on a NATO and EU-esque alliance between Italy and the Dutch had been futile. Since both NATO and the EU had been disbanded effectively, long before 2016, the U.S has since created AEGIS, a global like NATO alliance that so far was dominating. But, the Dutch and Italians, preferring European Nationalism, and Central-Western interests in mind, had decided that a European and Mediterranean-esque alliance would be better. Dutch diplomat Ferdinand McKnight, the advocate of such an alliance, and Italian diplomat Renzo de'Sapori were both trying hard to get some where. However, in Brussels, where several third-party leaders of major privately owned businesses, as well as other diplomats from both countries' parliamentary systems had been argumentative, straining and putting a long-term effect on the talks. Finely, it appeared as if the judges moderating the signing would overrule the power of the opposed diplomats, as both bills had already been passed respective to the two nations.
The diplomats, however, had fought hard in order to get de'Sapori and McKnight frustrated, and bringing up pointless arguments in order to maintain a level of indecision. Finally, the ruling was made, and the treaty signed. The European Atlantic & mediterranean Treaty Organization or EATO, was the combined names of both the EU and NATO, along with an unincluded in the mock appreviation a Mediterranean aspect. At once, the leader of Egypt was notified, and he soon agreed to join, on condition that Parliament would not even hold a vote, but simply allowed it. At once, they sent telegrams to the Germans, as well as the UROI.

As 2 of them split from the group and started examining the roof of the building for hostiles, the other 3 soldiers stepped onto a destroyed MiG-21, part of it slammed through the roof. With an order from the lead soldier, the other 2 hoisted the Flag of Iberia over Algiers. The Algerian War was over.

The crowd and Brey were clapping, all smiling, most drunk, for Barcelona, who seemed to be enjoying the fame. As the clapping died down, Brey continued, "As such, I would like to be the first to award Field Marshal Barcelona the condecoración de honra for services to the United Republic of Iberia!" The terms are simple and resemble similar to those of NATO. Countries as part of EATO agree to a collective defense system where member states agree to mutual defense in order to respond to an attack by an external party. As such, EATO will not assist one country if another member goes to war with another. Another term is that any country can petition a military buildup of forces from around collective member states in order to start to deal with a foreign external threat, but in this way is the first to attack. In this sense, the buildup is a voluntary effort allowed to be decided by the Head of State or however that member state wishes to decide. The terms also include having countries voluntary agree to participate in war games, and conduct multinational military exercises of course also voluntarily. EATO also holds summits on a regular basis where leaders of member states and their entourage are encouraged to attend. Of course, there needs to be a leader for EATO as a whole. That role falls to an elected Secretary-General appointed by a member state voting accord. It can be from any member state nation. Additionally observing states can attend meetings, but have no heresay. Member states are encouraged to permit a delegate for EATO meetings (Held in Brussels) and summits (Held in whatever planned country) so that the leader of their nation does not have to attend events all the time, as things can come up. As such, these are the basic terms, but also included is that the preferred ideology for EATO member-states is Republics, usually under a Democratic system and with voting. The ADF troops are working toward increasing its presence in South Kordofan according to local news with 100$ million dollars allocated humanitarian aid. Topnotch doctors from the EAF, and SAU are going to help fight diseases inn South Kordofan and the military is to increase its presence toward 100,000 troops to continue fighting Sudan . According to reports, 500 soldiers died and 5,000 were wounded.

The miitary general in charge of the mission in Sudan began preparing plans to take over the whole entire region of Kordofan.

I want you to divide our 100,000 troops to five armies, each of them prepared to strike the regions. 2 of the armies totalling 40,000 troops are to go invade North Kordofan, 40,000 troops are to go invade West Kordofan and the remaining 20,000 troops are to be used establish a local police force as well as help with humanitarian and infastrcutre projects across the province. I also want you to send a message toward the AU stating that the mission toward Sudan is going as a sucess. Let us continue working on attacking the Sudan government. If the dutch control these provinces do not attack but if they don't attack, bombard military positions, I want ammunition start and I want the governments to send us more money, speifically the SAU. I want border patrols, I want UAV's all around the provinces making sure they aren't any terrorists, I want officers ttaking strategic areas and I want the spies in Sudan to strike the government and create rebellion.

Following the defeat of the Burmese government in Rangoon. A referenda was set in place, to be started in 3 days time. When The referenda was done, the votes were tallied in EAH. Province and the out come was better than expected and hoped for. Rangoon was the first to vote 97% in favor of joining and becoming part of the Kingdom of Siam, shortly followed by the province of Pegu which voted 89% to join Siam. Then Sagalong and Arakan state finished their referenda, and voted 99% and 92% respectively in favor of joining the People's Republic of China. Then Mandalay, Magwe, and Chin State finished. Mandalay voted 87% in favor of joining Siam. Magwe and Chin State voted 91% and 79% respectively in favor of joining china. Finally, Irrawaddy Dy voted 98,3% in favor of joining the kingdom of Siam.

March 2029
Construction for Project KOW, a an extremely expensive project to build the biggest military ship ever known to mankind was finished. The ship is currently located off the western coast of Siam, preparing to set sail for America, where the Americans will be allowed to station up to 2,500 personnel and several military ships. In the meantime, China is loading up their share of personnel and ships. The mega-Supercarrier is able to hold hundreds of thousands of personnel. There are 50,000 bedrooms, each with 4 bunk beds in them and a bathroom. The ship is divided into 35 sectors. Several hours of the day will be set aside for the troops to train and workout. There are a total of 65 workout rooms, 700 bathrooms aside form the ones in the bedrooms, 30 living rooms for soldiers to hang out and give it rest if they wish.

EAF,2020-2030
The EAF in 2020 closed of the year with a GDP growth of 12%, higher than the estimated 10%. With this, the EAF was one of the fastest growing economies in the world as well as a newly industrialized country, the government had ordered military programs to begin with reaserch reaching $1 billion dollars over the decade. The EAF now manufactured arms such as Mine protecting APV's, tanks, small arms, rocket launchers, guns, assault rifles, and was looking into manufacturing drones and aircraft. The EAF was also working on building its ship building industry in order to begin manufacturing navy ships. The exports of the GDP totalled at least $30 billion closing of in 2029 and by now, their was a total eradication of ethnic tensions at least in the visible eye. Somalia was stablized and it the EAF was becoming a oil hotspot with 27 billion barrels of oil found. The GDP per capita had increased and the EAF was becoming a large arms exporter in Africa wanting to take down the SAU as the military arms manufacture of the continent. The EAF was also becoming more developed, it was now on its way to reaching upper middle income status and the EAF was becoming a regional power in the continent if not was going to become a superpower. Relations with AU countries were better than ever despite some tensions with Sudan. The ADF invasion of Sudan proved successful with the Sudan. It had conquered the blue nice state as well and institutions were still being placed to begin referendum although some wanted to join the EAF, referendum was still an objective. Now the EAF was becoming a more strategic power as well and it began a series of secret projects nicknamed Project Alpha to begin building navy ships by stealing tech from companies.\

EAF announces plans to create two new technology parks and two new cities. Plans to increase educational quality by allowing the use of computers to increase computer literacy is announced. Reaserch labs to be built in the countries which are part of the EAF.

EAF announces plans to begin creating medical reaserch facilities across the the federation. Annonuces 800 billion shillings(9,092,975,329 billion dollars) on a 6 year plan to be used to upgrade medical facilities across the country. It is expected to help with the medical issues that have long been a challenge for the East African Community

2025
Government announces plan to increase the agricultural and pyrethrum industry by acquiring industrial machinery. 10% growth continues for 4 years. Government plans to increase growth by 15%

Sudan is conquered. 4 year plan to reehabiliate infrastructure, increase access to education and healthcare is annonuced.

2027
Income inequality reaches knew high, insecurity begins to rise due to high population. Government annonuces 500 million shillings to combat insecurity.

SAU-2020-2030
The SAU had been working on creating aicraft carriers like the Siamese to make it a superpower. It knew that the EAF wanted the spot of being the top military power in the continent and it wasn't really going to lose. and the designs were finished in 2029 with the government saving up money for it. The SAU also had 2 aircraft carriers becoming the first in Africa to produce them. It now had aircraft carriers increasing its capabilities.

After a terrorist attack by Islamic extremists in the capital happened in the beginning of February.. The united republic of the Congo began modernizing it's military including buying newer boats, planes, tanks, and weapons. Thousands of people were recruited in order to put troops at all borders with the URC. This began after the purchase of 3 old USSR submarines from the Ukraine in April. Then the URC bought an additional 25 USSR era tanks from Kazakhstan during the month of May. Then throughout the rest of the year, hundreds of planes, attack helicopters, and tons more artillery. Phase one of this plan, named "Operation: save this nation," was completed by the end of the year.

2024
The URC gained access to the Siamese Project KOW. Relations continued to increase and become more and more friendly between Siam and the URC as the year progressed. In July, the URC purchased it's first corvette from the Siamese navy. Phase 2 was completed in November after the purchase of 255 Self propelled guns from the republic of Vietnam. The URC continued warming up to these 2 southeast Asian nations hoping for discounts on military items.

2025
Civil war broke out in the Central African Republic between 3 groups. First, the socialist group hoping to turn the CAR into a socialist country; second, the fascist group that promised to build the CAR an empire all across Africa (their first target was the URC), leave the Nuclear proliferation treaty, and build WMDs to force their enemies into submittance; and the third one was the republic forces struggling to combat the other 2. The republic forces were quickly overwhelmed with more than half of the troops defecting to the fascist side. Then the fascists began to win the battle. The URC however, stepped in and destroyed both parties before either side knew what hit them. This was phase 3, and it was completed after the annexation of the CAR.

2027
The east coast was smashed by a hurricane, killing and injuring thousands, and dislocating millions. The country was caught off guard and almost lost control of itself. However, like usual, many 1st and 2nd world countries sent aid to help the starving people of the eastern coast.

2028
This year was a year of battles. Many of the Congolese soldiers got trigger happy and had killed many neighboring country's soldiers in attempts to get the opposing country to declare war on the URC. However, everyone of these soldiers were executed. The worst of the battles was when 1,029 Congolese troops crossed the border into South Sudan. The URC cut them off and didn't allow any of them back until they were dead. After that, no one thought to fire unless fired upon.

2029
Socialist guerrillas erupted across the countries. Most were former troops of the socialist movement in the former country of the CAR. Now, the United republic of the Congo is not so united. As the war on the socialists continue, more and more factions begin fighting against the republic.
