Nation name: The Kingdom of France
Ruler: His Royal Highness, Philip VII The Dauphin of France, who is 9 years old (Regent is Cardinal Mazarin)
Religion: Catholicism, with the Edict of Nantes giving freedom to other sects of Christianity
Population: 20.5 million in France, French North America would have about 10,00 or so
Military Numbers: 150,000 at the moment (>1%), 450,000 in times of war (~2.5%), 800,000 in a total war (4%)
Main Goal: To secure the monarchy fully and to expand into the land seen as God-given (Burgundy, Toulouse, and the colonies)
Rp Example: Ummm... I can if you need them.
Other: I went AH on the ruler because I think this will be much more fun to RP as. However, it's not unrealistically AH, and I can give a full explanation of how it got to this point if you are interested.

Looked at it, decided the letter will reach the Pope in Milan, making things very awkward for them when the Pope demands to know why he did not receive the previous letter, only to learn that the Bishop of Milan went gallivanting off in HIS ship.

The previous rp moved in segments of 3 months per shift, so I think it is safe to go a little into February until we get a fixed timescale.

I only mentioned it so you two can keep it in mind with your back and forth lettering. It's fine for now, but you don't want multiple months worth of lettering done in the same amount of weeks.

I didn't know know that there was an old French player, I'll look into what that treaty involved.

Considering that Burgundy, Toulouse and Brittany exist your population should be ALOT lower. Probably around 12.5-13 million, maybe 14.5 tops.
