Before Z-Day , The Russian Federation was a corrupted and dying beast. Struggling to regain it's former glory that it had possessed during the time of the Soviet Union. When the first infected person showed up in the St. Petersburg airport there was very little concern when it came down to quarantine and the corrupt military had floundered at even attempting such an act. As the infection spun out of control and Military units were overrun in their entirety a power struggle broke out in Moscow between those who were loyal to the current President. And those who were loyal to a Russian Army General Named Dmitri Romanov who claimed to be a direct descendent of the once Great Czars that had ruled Russia. Many speculate that more people in Moscow where killed due to the Civil war that had erupted rather than the Zombies themselves. Eventually it ended with Moscow being cleansed in Nuclear fire. Once the Nuclear Dust settled around the ruins of St. Petersburg and the Kremlin Dmitri Romanov crowned himself Emperor of the new Russian Empire and waged a brutal campaign to reclaim what he viewed as his birthright from Rouge Military units and Undead alike. By 2018 Emperor Romanov had expanded his Empire back to the Russian Federation's Pre-Z-Day borders. In the following years he concentrated all of his efforts on rebuilding his dream. Oil Refineries where re-manned , Natural Gas pipelines repaired. The very lifeblood of his Empire began flowing again. Soon the Fires of his Greed were no longer satisfied with fixing the land that had been broken in the Apocalypse but turned his eyes West , to those who had land and resources That he wanted....
