Why you are rebelling: After the Chinese governments plan of, "Modernizing" the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (شىنجاڭ‎/ 新疆/Xīnjiāng). Mass dissent and eventual riots were the cause of a government crackdown in the early 2000's. More tension was applied after the fact that most dissents who fled into bordering Kazakhstan were repatriated after much Chinese backed pressure. Not sure if you know this, but a lot of them go to fight as volunteers in wars in Arabic countries for the experience.

Yeah, but none of them actually live there. There might be a few families, but the majority to would be training soldiers.
