The Britons have excellent skills in surviving winter. And have a far larger and longer tolerance to the cold, but that translates to an unfortunate Intolerance for long-term exposure to extreme heat. (Case in point: They'll faint within an hour upon entering an area of extreme heat (i.e. Sahara Desert)

So I assume that would probably make their skin pale, nearly albino... I can work with that.

Yeah. Sort of. They'll eventually evolve and start forming a nation, but until then, they're just sort of natural predators to anything that can get caught in their webs.

Me too. Orphaning a child like that is horrid, even in the eyes of a race who regularly sacrifices criminals and POWs by cutting them open and ripping their entrails out, tends to bathe in their blood and cannibalise the remains afterwards and goes on genocidal rampages against tribes who are weaker than one's own willy nilly.
