Anyway, so you'd embark on a travel that will take at least dozens of years, fight through half the species in the RP and engage in a campaign that has little chances of succeeding even after all of that, just to conquer a territory that you cannot know to exist and that is barely as big as your present one (and much smaller when we consider only the parts where your guys could actually exist)?
They would be trying to conquer northern Asia at that point, not Europe. And remember, they die at any temperature above 30 degrees Celsius.
Durmatagno wrote:The Orson Empire wrote:You have 1 million?
I have 500,000. I thought I had the largest army in this RP.
However, I am planning to build up my army to 800,000, as I am going to be doing some good ole' conquesting. I eventually want to create an empire similar to the Roman Empire.
I have 750K ATM, but we're planning on securing the last of our land (IE The not-so-unified city states and other such just outside the republic) and expanding our borders around the Black Sea, though that's still being debated by the council and King.
Edit: Also one thing, according the the various maps (comparing to RL) We share the Ural River, if you sent any river boats down it towards the Caspian Sea, you'd hit at least one big city of ours, we have a few large cities on the Caspian sea and Castle-Town on Upstream from it.
Edit 2: Also you either cut around my territory, or managed not to spot or be spotted by any Rose Republic peeps, we jut out a bit east off the Northern bank of the Caspian Sea.

Let's stop making more than one until the OP comes and can update the new one. That's why conquest and changes should be done only when LinLang or the OP are online, so they can update the map.

That map is wrong.

Just so you know, my population is like 500,000 and we're supposed to be the smallest in the RP. The average is around 5 million, so if your people breed like crazy, you should be closer to that. That's for balance purposes. I mean, you can always voluntarily choose to play a relatively weak people with low numbers, but don't be surprised when you get mauled by a stronger species with a larger population than yours.Rob Halfordia wrote:For us, it's he susceptibility to heat.
Ah, that's quite the Achilles heel. If it's 30 degrees, that's low enough to be a serious handycap. Your people are probably on par physically with Flugel, maybe a bit more so with the thicker hide, but we can fly which is our ace in the hole

Yep, we share the Ural River, I have it where it pours into the Caspian Sea and a bit north of that, but then it curves into your land and back north. If we haven't met yet (still possible according to your first IC post), as soon as you get boats down the river/on the sea, we'd meet, we do a lot of fishing and trading between our ports on the Caspian sea.

How? We all discussed on this map until you two woke up, arrived, and made that one.
Also specie range should mean where your specie exist, but is more of an existance than a dominance. I don't feel ok in making only a nation, considering this is 500 BC, and being big is BAD as communications are really scarce. Remember the roman empire?

Firstaria wrote:I want to point out that human world population in 500 BC was around 500 million, and this is WORLD population, so even having 1 million people around is quite big considering you are a nation of a minor race.

Ordinary civilians who have done business with your species know that they exist, but the Emperor and much of the upper class citizens do not know much about other species.
And wait, you are planning to ally with the Devaskyl? I am planning to conquer them. I guess I will have to postpone my plans to invade their nation. Perhaps we could take on the Oni instead.
