OKay, since we have a few nations showing interest ill tell you guys what I got on my mind.

The fallout RP was the brain child of The New Sea Territory a now dead nation that was a good friend of mine and one of the longest running RP's in NS history.
It was a faction based world building game with tons of personal interaction as players made deals and alliances and actual got to see the effects of there actions years latter in a latter edition of the game.

The last RP died in 2016 and New Sea hasn't been a nation for 7 years. As much as I miss Him, I wish for this series to return with its years of lore and fascinating stories.

As I'm not familiar with the series I'll need to see what you compile to know what we'd be getting into.

That's the main issue I'm running into, as all the maps are gone, so ill have to find a decent map making program to make them all.
And compiling timelines and Lore from a half dozen threads that I haven't been too in years.

I'd prefer if there was a way to have both, like a faction-based RP with the option to play as characters (who are Courier-equivalents).

If it’s scaled down enough, not like all of North America maps we always get, individual characters could easily be fleshed out and RPd

Definitely, in either case, I'd prefer no larger an area/map than a state or two

But if its Faction based I'm thinking a "map" of a region comprising 2-3 states.


A healthy mix of the two is my preferred playstyle as well, but I mean here is when you make your app would you like to make a person or a faction. Just so I can start getting a storyline in my head.

Of course, even then some of the latter games weren't focused on the entirety of one state but instead surround a major city (Las Vegas, DC, Boston) in real life. Just a single neighborhood or a remnant of a mall is a big enough territory for an average settlement, raider gang, etc.

I think I have the right idea for an setting for us to start out which should be a nice blend of both character and faction based roleplay.

When it comes to the lore, I'm hoping that we're focused on an untouched area of the United States and not go and revisit cities or state that already made an appearance in Fallout. Like instead of Las Vegas or Boston, we're chilling in the ruins of Columbus, Provo, or Dallas.
