The beauty of zombies as an enemy is their flexibility (virus, nanite, drug, voodoo), their disposability (keep 'em coming), and their symbolism (human minus humanity, communism, consumerism, whatever, Ebola). But the real problem with zombies is that they are basically the worst predators. They are shittier versions of people whose food source and method of reproduction is smarter, faster, and heavily armed with tools. Just look at the Ebola panic, the public would not only beat the shit out of any zombie, they would turn on those who even joke that they might be zombies.

BTW, I read the unedited post, Cer. I don't consider any of your guys' past events failures, even if everyone stalled or overstepped boundaries. The fact that everyone was in the same boat and working together was what made it fun.

I think you and Swith should worry less about doing so many things and have fun with PL. I appreciate the extras, and regional stuff is really cool, but PL is where we're all at in the end. I hate to say that I wish everyone could get back the motivation we used to have. A big event like when the characters stormed a compound to stop the raptors, or the Drone attacks, or Prim's crazy stuff brought a lot of characters together. Besides, the disorder and misunderstandings are part of the fun. What's the point if everything is 100% planned out or controlled?

Anyways, I'll try to give whatever we got going a shot.

I might also tear through all my old PL event notes from sumer and see if I can salvage something. I never got around to that. Who else is interested in something small, but crazy, kind of Classic PL-ish?

Characters name themselves, much to poor Erma's surprise. Luckily she couldn't protest her given name too much due to shock and a gaping plot hole posing as a healthy McGuffin. Plot holes aren't too bad, you know. Alice fell into one once upon a time and just look at the good it did her.

Speaking of that, there's a Beetlejuice 2 in the works. I think I was 10 by the time that movie hit my shores. The snake-banister scene scared the fuck out of me back then.
